NO RETURNS!! At most you can exchange it. (see the picture of reciept). Luckily it was only one item (an $8 blouse) that I wanted to return. I decided to exchange it with a double pair of touchscreen gloves (it really does work, but only the index finger)

I suppose this is the true cost of reducing the price (alongside with the quality).

From now on, I will need to control myself when I come here since I can be an impulsive buyer sometimes.

I finally got the chance to visit the new Charolette Russe! They’re still in the same location within the mall.

The biggest change I saw....PRICE. I saw $5, $10, $20, and 50% off signs all over the store, whereas with the old CR, you would only see these prices at the clearance section.

They added some new categories that the old CR never had: Sleepwear and lingerie!

Their high-waisted jeans that used to be $20-$25 are now $15 under the new CR. I definitely see a downgrade in quality even though they still look the same overall. For example, the fabric pink gold jeans I got had a slight shimmer, but now CR’s jeans don’t have that shimmer and looks more generic. This kind of difference doesn’t really show in pictures, but you can kind of tell in real life. It’s the details that makes the difference.

I came on a day when the store (well, the entire mall actually) was not busy. So I got a lot of one-on-one attention from a staff who helped me pick my outfits and gave me fashion advice (like getting clothes tailored, proper fit, and complimentary colors).

She also told about the new CR. It was bought by a Canadian company (forgot the name) and they have reopened 700 stores and there are plans to open more. Even though they’re expanding really fast, they’ve been doing a lot better than the old CR. Under this new Canadian company, CR focused a lot better organization of their merchandise. So the racks are not overpacked like it was with the old CR and Forever21.

I love Charlotte Russe because it is one of few stores that carry a wide variety of sizes. If you're plus size or on the border between the two, this is an ideal store. It's also great because their jeans are so durable, you cannot get a better quality pair of jeans for the price (and they make your butt look GREAT)

Highly recommend this store it’s where I get all my dresses! Beautiful Jewelry as well.
