We had a wonderful stay here. We stayed from 6/10/22 to 6/14/22. The staff were very helpful, attentive, kind, and professional. They made wonderful suggestions of things to do while in town. We stayed in one of the upper level, upstairs rooms called Vampire's Fairytale. The room was amazing. The beds were comfortable. They had both central AC and a smaller window unit in the room which worked GREAT for combating the intense Louisiana summer heat and humidity. The first person we met when we arrived was Kyle who was super helpful and even helped us unload the car and carry our bags up stairs into the building and then up stairs to our room. I will say, there are a lot of stairs if you stay in one of the upper level, upstairs rooms, but it was well worth it to stay in a beautiful, historic, Antebellum-style mansion such as this one that is over 150 years old. I grew up in a house that my mother restored that was over 100 years old and that experience has given me a great appreciation for old homes such as this one. While, yes, there are some cosmetic things that can be improved, the beauty and majesty of it's structure and age should be appreciated. It is close enough to all of the attractions to make it a quick drive or trolley ride to get there, but, at the same time, just far enough away to be able to come back and slow down when the hustle and bustle gets to be a bit much. Over all, I would give this place more than five stars if I could.

We stayed for 2 nights. This place is beautiful. Truly a gem. The themed rooms were a lot of fun. The first night we had a very weird paranornormal experience with someone dropping something at the edge of the bed and on the floor. Nothing was there. It was really a great experience coming to this place. Tony is the owner and he was magnificent. He was so polite and welcoming. He told us about the history and he was very helpful and accommodating. The night time security Kent I believe was his name was awesome. He made us feel very safe during Mardi Gras and he was very sweet. All in all this was an amazing place with great people. We will be coming back here and trying a different themed room until we make it through all of the themed rooms.

This is a spooky looking g place but the rooms are clean and the location is great. Needed a place to stay before embarking on a cruise. It was perfect. Checking in at midnight added to the ambiance. Beautiful walking tours of all the historic houses in the area are available. Check it our.

We had a wonderful stay here. We were here to hunt ghosts, and we found them. The mansion is breathtaking and very warm. The hosts are very friendly with great hospitality. The ghosts are friendly too. We stayed in the Mardi Gras room. Had several ghostly experiences in the 2 nights we were there. All good energy. Would stay here again (or even live here) in a heartbeat. We hope to come back someday 🥰

There were some room mix ups but they made it right and were very accommodating. They are- as of this week- under new management and are trying to get the bigger issues of plumbing and water damage fixed. The “gone with the wind” room was gorgeous as is the rest of the location. The rooms were very clean. Julian Dickerson- new manager helped us get everything that we were hoping for out of our stay. They hope to have the restaurant up and going in the next few months as well and really get the place rocking and rolling! I plan on coming back on our next trip to New Orleans

Beautiful place in the Garden District very close to the French Quarters and just a few short blocks from St. Charles Street for nice dining. I stayed for a long weekend about a month ago. Was checking on the place since IDA the hurricane and realized I didn't give it a review. Beautiful furnishings and local music in the parlor during the weekend evenings. Locals from the Garden District come to enjoy too. A wonderful stay and staff was so nice and helpful.

Excellent stay. The decor is absolutely beautiful I have never see anything quite like it. On Saturday they had a phenomenal party with live music and drinks in the courtyard. 30/10 would definitely stay again! Also recorded a rather spooky ghost experience.

We had the pleasure of hosting a memorial service for our mom here recently, and our experience was terrific. The hotel owner and staff worked with us diligently on every detail, ensuring that the experience for our guests was amazing. The staff set-up the main living room, and two dining rooms to be used for our event. All audio and video was taken care of, and plenty of luxurious seating was arranged for our guests. The staff provided a large buffet of food and drink service, the room in which we held the services was exquisitely decorated and pictures and items from our mom’s life were beautifully arranged throughout.

A few of us took a tour of the Hotel and some of its rooms. The rooms are decorated with charm, culture and beauty of old New Orleans. The high ceilings, furniture and decor were just what you would expect from a historical hotel such as this.

Our experience was excellent and our mother was honored. Mom had a Bed & Breakfast of her own before she retired. She would have loved this place!

Beautiful place, awesome location, great staff and wonderful people!

We loved staying at the Magnolia Mansion! We were in the Gone With The Wind suite for 2 nights (best suite ever!!) and the mini suite for 1 night. I loved the charm of the place...all the beautiful furniture and architecture. Only thing was coffee is not ready until staff gets there in the morning, so if you are an early riser you may want to go out to get some coffee. Other than that it was perfect!

We had a great experience here. Very quiet and beautiful. Staff very friendly and helpful. This is a B and B style place although breakfast is limited. The rooms with the claw foot tubs might not have a shower head long enough for taller people but we enjoyed the charm of it all anyways!

A grand old place in the heart of the garden district. Just steps away from St. Charles avenue and it's historic streetcars.
The rooms were simple but comfortable. The themes to each adding a touch of fun and whimsey.
The proprietor was often on hand for some advice or just to chat.
On Thursday and Friday they featured live jazz downstairs.
One caveat for those with mobility issues:. There is no elevator so access to the second floor rooms requires navigating a (rather lovely) flight of stairs.

This building is a beautiful old southern mansion. We stayed in the vampire lair and loved it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The owner introduced himself and offered his service for anything we needed during our stay. My wife felt that the lighting was too dim but hey, it was a vampires lair. Everything was in good repair and the bed was comfortable. I would stay there again. The ambiance was fabulous.

We stayed at Magnolia Mansion and had a great experience! It seems like the management has just changed, and the new manager was really great and welcoming! He even upgraded our room for us and spent time giving us a tour and history of the house. The house has a very interesting history and has two haunted rooms that you can stay in if you like! Would definitely recommend for your next trip!

I am SO very glad I booked and stayed here. This historic mansion can't be beat. The entire property and house is filled with enticing architecture, antiques, and tastefully done themed rooms that truly capture the flavor of old-fashioned New Orleans genteel society. Yet for as elegant as the place looks and feels, you'll feel so welcome and right at home there. Eureka was very gracious and sweet, welcoming me warmly to the estate, ensuring I felt safe, comfortable, and at home. I can't say enough about the Fairytale room I stayed in. I believe I may have even squealed like a giddy school girl when I walked in. Such a treat, I promise!

I absolutely loved this place. History was everywhere.
I snuggled so good in the bedding. It smelled so clean.
The staff was so helpful with everything.
No parking fees. That's almost unheard of in New Orleans.
I will definitely be back. Thank you so much for my wonderful memories.

I stayed at this B&B a few months back for my birthday. I had a great experience. Everyone was very helpful and made my experience great. When I arrived they told me my booked room was not available but then upgraded me to whichever available room I wanted. All my questions where answered with no attitude and was treated very welcoming. Also the pricing was great to stay there. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone that wants a lavish experience in New Orleans.

Beautiful Mansion, with beautiful furnishings. This mansion has a rich history dating back to the early 1800s! Louisa ( the mansion keeper), is friendly and informative.
Located in the historic garden district with great restaurants within walking distance.
A magnificent porch to sit on with a view of the fountain.
