I LOVE this place ! It's a quInt little spot in Gretna.... Family owned and operated.... Been around for a long time and I don't see them going anywhere .... EVER ! LoL
There's video poker and a great jukebox and they are always cooking ! The people are great and they even have some unique alcohol surprises!!! Do yourself a favor and absolutely .....

Plaisance's Bar is a true culinary gem. The food here is good. The drinks were equally impressive, with a knowledgeable bartender who was happy to recommend the perfect pairing. The atmosphere is chic and vibrant. Plaisance's Bar is a definite winner in my book

I was expecting to see Sheila but had a great time with the delightful Tina. Customers there are the best!

I am not a bar enthusiast but occasionally get to one for special events such as the Red Knights Poker Run. Plaisance is a nice clean neighborhood bar. Bar staff friendly, and good at keeping the customers entertained with conversations. Before the Red Knights arrived, most patrons seemed to be regulars as they all knew each other's names. Yet within minutes I felt like I was one of the regulars also. The people (customers) no matter how well the staff and place is can make or break a bar to new comers. This one makes it thanks to the lead of the Bar Staff in setting the tone. Friendly, not overly smokey, friendly, friendly, friendly!!!

Local owned, very small old family run bar. Clientele super friendly, you'll feel at home immediately. 'FREE' food available quite often. Come once, stay customer forever.

The best bar on the Westbank very friendly people the owners are really nice and genuine people and they look out for their customers that make sure that they have food there for if they're drinking so that they get home safe
