J&J's Sports Lounge

I was out exploring the neighborhood when I came across J & J Sports Lounge. This is really a great sports bar. They immediately made me feel welcome with friendly service. The beer was ice cold and very reasonably priced. This is a really good non pretentious place with great service and a very casual atmosphere. A true old fashioned neighborhood bar.

Is a great neighborhood/dive bar. Like most neighborhood bars, it can also tend to be cliquey, but as stated before, it's also a laid-back divey bar. Most people still have zero reservation about chatting it up with a friendly or interesting face. The bartenders will pour the same whether it is an old regular or a new transplant looking for a bar to have a few beers at not too far from the house.

Love this local bar. The staff are awesome and always up for a chat. There is normally a bunch of doggos or cats outside and the booze is cheap

Never have commented on a place prior to visiting. Just returning to New Orleans after 25 years- grew up here looking for a place fairly local to watch the game tonight. I have had awesome experience elsewhere relying on google for places to go. I like many rely on user reviews. Looks like these folks get it based over all on reviews commenting on outstanding customer service.. Simply taking the time to respond to customer input says a lot. Just called regarding the game PAC 12 championship. The person who answered the phone was very friendly, concerning and polite. So that be it said looking forward to the game tonight.

I only ever get a beer or cranberry vodka. Never too much of one thing & never tastes watered down. I normally go late at night & the bartender is inviting & just minds his business until he’s needed. Nice little local spot with plenty of characters.

Very friendly, diverse bar with reasonable prices

went their with friends to watch the saints play two weeks ago and had a super time. They had lots of TV's, free gumbo which was very good. The bartender was very friendly and good at what he did. The only complaint is they ran out of Midnight Moonshine. Going back this Sunday to watch the game again and hope the have the Midnight Moonshine blueberry in stock.

Local place, great prices. We loved watching jeopardy and wheel of fortune while drinking. Draft lines might need cleaned more often.

My husband and I live a few blocks away, but we dont get out very often. We were expecting to have a couple drinks and go home. BUT, we ended up meeting Liz, Bella, and Eric and having a great time chatting, drinking, and laughing! The atmosphere at J&Js is nothing short of community-like, and the drinks are cheap! We will definitely be back soon!!!!! 😄😘🤗

Awesome bar with the lowest draft prices and great pop ups. If you haven't checked them out yet what are you waiting for. Don't forget about the saints games coming soon. Always a nice spread and always a blast.

Great local haunt, JC is a phenomenal, welcoming bartender and will single handedly be the reason I make a point to visit again.

Everyone is so cool and friendly. Cheddar Bob is the resident cat celebrity. Prices are great, staff is outstanding!
