Jaeger's Seafood and Oyster House

Food, atmosphere and servers are amazing! Glad my 2nd visit wasn't my first,, because the older gentleman who seated us was so stand-offish I felt unwelcome or as if our visit was annoying him. Had I not already known from a previous visit how great they were, I would not have stayed that time. But I did and our server and food was great! I drive 4.5 hours from North Mississippi for their charbroiled oysters and it's worth every mile! It's laid back with some down home elegance. Decent restrooms and all servers ive seen/had were super friendly and helpful.

Easy parking but it does need a little update; some holes and barriers are crooked.
Friendly staff, good food, reasonable able prices.
I haven't been in a while and I see a new addition for parties which looks very nice.

Charbroiled oysters are the best! Platters are huge and we are never disappointed by the amount of food you receive for the price. Joey was our waiter and he is very attentive to our table of eight guest. Food came out quickly. The manager, Phil, checked on us often. Fabulous staff and great food.

Excellent customer service, great atmosphere. The food was delicious and fresh, I definitely recommend their chargrilled Oysters and the shrimp poboys, those were my favorite.

First time here! I'm not a seafood lover, but my pregnant wife was craving crawfish. They had great options for me to choose from that were not seafood. Joey, our server was amazing. He helped us effortlessly as he gave the same great service to others. He let us know they even have live music on certain nights! We will definitely be back!

I have eaten here several times. It is always good. I returned just recently and my wife and I had dinner. Two thumbs up. Very good.

Ok so I rarely write reviews. This place was bonkers. We picked it because it was lent, we wanted fish and it was on the way. The place looked really simple and had some burnt out neon letters which could either be exceptionally good or exceptionally bad.

We walked in to a really clean, open space where the music wasn’t super loud and were sat immediately.

Our server was awesome. She was clearly from the area and knew the menu inside and out. The menu isn’t super clear and she was able to talk us through our 10000 midwestern questions.

We wanted some deep fried stuff so we ordered pickle chips and onion rings. I never would have expected them to be handmade. They were so good. Like, so good that even though I knew I had to eat more food after I still couldn’t stop eating them. And they had the good ranch. You know what I mean. The really good stuff.

The server, Lynn, who, again was so super good, recommended the red fish. I’m from Wisconsin. We don’t have redfish. But. She was so awesome so I tried it.

I don’t know what kind of insane stuff they put in their blackening season, but it has to be illegal. It was one of those “I am so full but I can’t stop eating” kind of things. Then when I finished my plate my husband started putting his food from his absurdly huge seafood platter on my plate. Even when I was so full I hated myself, I still at the entire deep fried catfish filet. And I couldn’t stop eating THAT either.

Literally go there. I’m not kidding. It’s worth the shame you will feel because you can’t stop shoveling all the goodness in your face.

Food was great. We had one server to about 30 people. Despite that he did an amazing job. We had a great time celebrating and enjoying the food.

The food and service was great, the atmosphere had a touch of Nola charm, and can't forget the gator statue out front. We had the king's platter which had a little bit of everything, blackened oysters which is a must have here just yum, and some cheese fries which was good but it's cheese and fries of course it's good, lastly crawfish just amazing. All the seafood was boiled in the same magic Nola spices and just came out splendid with a touch of heat. Overall great experience and even better food.

Man…. Forgot to take a picture till we were done but we ate GOOOOOT lol. 2 dozen chargrilled oysters, crab legs, shrimp and the sides. So da’gon delicious!!

Great atmosphere for live music! Oysters are always the best, and the owners John and Jenn are the sweetest.

If I could, I would give this place 10 stars. We came in 30 minutes before closing and were served very kindly. We ordered the grilled oysters and seafood gumbo for appetizers and were SO good. For dinner we had the Jaeger platter to split. The portions are bountiful. Also, the nice server, Michelle, A+ to her and the cool guy that was singing to Billy Ocean's Caribbean Queen. Overall, loved the experience. We came back to our hotel and recommended it to another guest.

Never a disappointing experience!! The food is beyond amazing. The prices and the portion sizes are wonderful. The staff is always spot-on. One of our favorite places to eat at.

Savory flavors and great portions. Billy, our server, was fun and, patient, knowledgeable, and apparently loves his job. Great food and a place the locals eat. I'm sure we were the only tourists here.

Great food, fast service, and really had a good taste. My family enjoyed the food and different taste of each plate. The crawfish were on point. Over all 4/5 only because the smell of the location is a lil off. Other then that, all good.

We always enjoy eating here when we visit for Mardi Gras. The fried catfish platter is amazing. We also had the fried oyster platter and it was also very good

Food was great. Nice family atmosphere. Ms. Dianne was the best! She was so friendly and knew exactly what we needed before we even asked! This is New Orleans icon.

They old-school atmosphere reminded me of my childhood going to seafood restaurant back then and then the food we got the seafood platter together me and my wife with gumbo and raw ousters it was amazing flavor can't wait to come back
