My experience going to Ace Hardware was pretty pleasant. As you pull up to the store they have a front and back entrance. The back entrance is where all the parking is. As I walked in I was greeted with a friendly smile of an associate who was willing to help me. I asked for keys to be made he was so polite and made my keys ask me if I needed anything else. He rang me out and he also put my keys back on the ring of my other keys because I can't manage to struggle with it.the atmosphere was great. It's a very small hardware store but I think you'll be able to find what you need. Thanks for my keys. I appreciate it.😁👍

I give Josef Porteleki 5 star. Today I went to his store with my family. I needed to get my car key fobs cut. Knowing it was after hours Josef was closing, he took the time and courtesy to help me get my car key fixed and operating. What he charged me was very reasonable, compared if I went to the dealer to get it done. He gave me excellent customer service and was vert patient and taking his time to help me get my key fob for my car correct. I will definitely be going back and supporting his business.

The people that run this wonderful store might honestly be the nicest & most helpful people on the planet. I don't know aaaanything about home upkeep/repairs, but, every time I need to do something around the house, I go directly here, and they patiently listen to my awkward explanation of the problem, and always point me to exactly what I need to get the job done.

Truly the definition of a friendly, neighborhood store.

This is my go to hardware store. The owner and staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and go out of their way to make sure you’re buying the right product. As a plus, they are also a dog friendly.

Despite its smaller size compared to Home Depot, I consistently find everything I need with the help of their knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great little neighborhood hardware store . They have the spaced stuffed with products which let's them have a good selection of hardware and tools to keep your project going without having to leave the neighborhood.

Lot of cool stuff.

This has been my go-to hardware as long as I lived in Boston. It provides a parking lot, It is family owned. I don't care what your trade is or if you're a DIY whatever you're looking for if you cannot find it they will order it. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and extremely friendly they will go above and beyond to help you find what you need. Never have to be shy to ask for whatever it might be. If you looking for some paint in a custom color they will mix it until it is perfect for you. I have always had access to all the plumbing and electrician parts I've ever needed. It's one of the best and last (real) hardware stores that you're going to find.

I just wanted to share a quick story that I had at this particular ace hardware today here in the roslindale area the gentlemen there at the store was so polite and professional although I did not purchase a heater he went out of his way to help me if I could I would give him or the store 10 stars just want to say much appreciated will visit again thank you !

Good selection for home projects. I’ve always gotten helpful advice from the people who work there when I didn’t know exactly what I needed or even how to finish a project.

Always greeted by friendly faces eager to assist in any capacity. Constantly going above and beyond for their neighbors and clientele. They always have insider information even if it costs them the sale. They just want the best for everyone around them. They always personalize service and walk you through any problem or questions you may have. If they don't have an answer, they find the answer.

I prefer to go to old-school stores like Roslindale Hardware. They’re pleasant and professional and they usually have everything you need.

One of the best hardware stores that I have ever been to. As a landlord and real estate broker, I go there a lot.

I highly recommend them because the staff is very knowledgeable and they have everything that a good hardware store should have, plus a lot more. They are the only place that cuts keys that work every time. Great screen and glass repair. Nice people, too.

They saved christmas! I wish I got homeboy's name when i went there but he kept going downstairs to see if they had any christmas stuff in stock and he found a bunch of goodies! Let alone I told him what I envisioned for my front yard and he suggested amazing products now my front yard looks amazing! I want to thank not only him but the whole crew there they always made sure I got what I wanted and that everything turned out ok. Thanks so much!

Exactly what you want in a neighborhood hardware store. A little bit of everything. If you don’t see what need, just ask! I’m always amazed at what they manage to rummage out of the downstairs in a pinch. Try here first to get the job done without having to wait on a delivery or lose your mind and soul going to home creepo.

I had a very specific part for my plumbing and they really tried to help me find even a substitute, but to no avail. It was a fabulous experience anyway everybody was trying to help

Friendly and knowledgeable, especially about older homes and giving advice on DIY projects. They are a great example of why small neighborhood businesses are so important.
