Asheville Family Dentistry

Great experience here. Had not been to the dentist in 15 years because I just hate going to the dentist. However Dr. White and the staff were friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. I no longer dread going to the dentist.

As always, received excellent care from dental hygienist and doctor. Timely, efficient, caring, polite, professional. My wife and I are extremely happy with the care we receive from the entire staff at Asheville Family Dentistry.

We had such a wonderful experience yesterday. Dr. White was SO KIND and gentle with my elderly mom. She helped my mom feel heard, safe, and comfortable. We truly feel that this practice takes care of our family which is why we all go here (my husband, mother, and myself).

All of the staff members and doctors at Asheville Family Dentistry are professional and friendly. Their team has been efficient and thorough with all services I have had. The doctors remain current with new methods of dentistry. The office and exam rooms are welcoming, clean and warm.

My 5 year old always has such a fun time at the dentist, Dr. White and the techs are so caring and gentle with him, and put him (and me) at ease when we are there. My kiddo actually looks forward to his appointments! Now I need to schedule my own appointment!

I had my initial appointment here last week and I was really impressed. It was the most thorough dental onboarding process I have ever seen. After nearly an hour with the dental assistant taking X-rays and images, Doctor Allison joined us for nearly another hour examining my mouth, jaw, gums and teeth and pointing out details in my mouth, providing explanations, answering questions, suggesting options, and giving recommendations. Exceptional dental care and service, this is dentistry at a whole new level!

Dr. Gruspe makes going to the dentist about as enjoyable as the experience can be! She's efficient and gentle, and has a calming presence and way of walking you through what she's doing in a reassuring way. I've gone to her for several fillings, one of which was cosmetic on a front tooth and she did a fantastic job. The staff has been nothing but helpful and pleasant as well. Would absolutely recommend finding a dentist here!

My first impression was that the office is BEAUTIFUL and welcoming and the staff professional AND personable.

I was there for my first new patient appt and I have never experienced such a thorough intake! Wow! I am impressed and look forward to having my oral health cared for by their “team”.

Top notch. Dr. Allison White did a gentle, careful and thoughtful job with a complex filling. She took her time with excellent results, probably saving the tooth in the process. Dental hygienist Audrey is outstanding- gentle and thorough with the teeth cleaning.

I visited the office for a routine check-up. The hygentist always does a super job of checking out my teeth and cleaning them. I always appreciate her work, and the arrival of the dentist to further check my teeth. This is an A-1 dental office!

I had an amazing first visit! The dental hygienist Danielle was very sweet, thorough, gentle, kind and informative. At no point did I feel rushed through the process. I met Dr. Gruspe who is also great! I am looking forward to continuing my dental care at this practice.

My hygienist is friendly, skilled, knowledgeable and kind. As good as a teeth cleaning experience can get!

Years ago, I had what I thought was a bad experience with this practice. In retrospect, I believe I was in the wrong. I am sure I was difficult to deal with and they handled me with nothing but dignity and grace.

I believe Dr White and staff genuinely care about their patients.

I would definitely recommend this practice and Dr White to anyone.

Honestly, it was pretty cool being able to watch TV and distract myself while they worked :) last thing I want to do is have to fixate on dental work...

Incredible tech, staff, resources. Friendly service. My first visit lasted almost 2 hours, I've NEVER experienced such a thorough initial workup!
At a follow-up appt I needed to have a filling put around an existing crown. They did it as an unscheduled courtesy during the same visit--on a Friday in which they don't typically see patients but were doing catch-up work anyway. Awesome!

This is the best dental practice I've every experienced. Super well organized. They do a very thorough initial appointment. Rates are reasonable and they filed my dental insurance. I've worked with three of their dentists and liked all of them. I never feel rushed but rather welcome to ask any questions I have. Front desk staff is also very nice. I highly recommend Asheville Family Dentistry.

I hate the dentist, do not like going at all!!! From the minute I walked into the door, to the minute I left, I felt like family. Everyone was very kind and caring. I never once felt ill at ease. I truly felt loved and respected. THANK YOU

I love this office, best dental practice anywhere! Very caring personalized and gentle care! This comes from a retired dental assistant, the personalized care shown by Audrey (best hygienist ever!) and Dr White (both Dr Whites) is unmatched! I cannot recommend enough! I moved and still drive over an hour for this office, will not even think of changing to more local office!!

I have to say Dr White is the best dentist office I have ever been to! Such a beautiful relaxing atmosphere! But most of all He and his staff always make me feel so welcome and comfortable! If you are looking for a superb and gentle dental experience, Dr Callan White is where you need to go! I recommend this office to everyone I know and my extended family started going to Dr White, as well. They feel the same way and always thank me for referring them to such a great dentist! I can’t say enough about my first visit. (It was long, but they did a lot of x-rays as a new patient.) Everyone was super nice and the doctor literally discussed everything he was going to do prior to doing it. I had Eve and Dr. King they were great!! Rhonda who handles appointments and such was so nice, accommodating and easy to work with. Seriously the best dentist office I’ve been to! So glad I picked them after reading other great reviews. I have to go back next month for my cleaning and to get some work done and honestly, I’m kinda looking forward to it!

This was my first visit after moving to the area. I found them online and liked the idea of a small family practice. My experience was great. Barbara, my dental hygienist was very thorough and answered all of my questions. I was also impressed by the technology of the x-ray and scanning system they had. The staff was also very friendly and the precautions that were taken for Covid made me feel safe. My husband and I look forward to our next visit.

I always receive the most professional treatment with kindness and attentiveness. Crystal continues to give phenomenal cleaning and care and much appreciation for Dr. Gruspe. If you're looking for great service with care, come to Asheville Family Dentist, the staff is wonderful 😊.
