This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. I love that they grow a lot of their ingredients in their garden. It’s a small cafe with a cozy vibe to it-Atmosphere is laid back and cozy. Parking was not the easiest though, wehad to drive up the street to find a spot, it took about 10 minutes to find parking. Food was incredibly fresh and nourishing.

Didn’t give this place a chance, but when I got there, I was blown away. Great food and atmosphere! They also make a really great Cortado! Love how the chickens are plucking around outside and my daughter loved it as well. Can’t wait to go back!

New favorite breakfast sandwich in Asheville! And lovely cappuccino to boot. If you haven’t found this great spot, tucked behind the chaotic Merrimon Road, you have missed out. Definitely add to your coffee and dining favorites!

We came here a few weeks ago for brunch and had an absolutely lovely time. It was quite busy because it was a very cold day and no one wanted to sit outside. We still were lucky to get a table immediately and our food came out quickly. Everything was delicious and if it hadn’t been so crowded we probably would have stayed longer and gotten another drink, but obviously we wanted to free up tables for new customers. Any server we talked to was very kind and the space was really cute. Overall a lovely experience and we will probably be back once the weather is a little nicer to enjoy their expansive outside seating!

I came here with my partner for breakfast and was blown away. I love the aesthetic and the food was absolutely stellar. I got the Sourdough Pancake and it was the best pancake I’ve ever had. Will absolutely come again

Amazing breakfast. The sourdough pancakes are a must have item. The toast and bacon was delicious. There is limited dining inside with more space outside.

Amazing quiche. Perhaps the best I’ve ever had. It was such a nice casual vibe to enjoy a delicious fresh meal.

My favorite kind of southern spot. Good, simple food; great outdoor seating (with wildflowers in bloom and dog friendly); welcoming atmosphere with thoughtful charm. Never thought I'd rave about a pancake, but the sourdough one was unexpectedly very good. I liked the playful peach panzanella with burrata, a great summer treat. Line out the door moved quick since you order first then seat yourself – smart choice for a busy weekend brunch.

Very cozy cafe with good food. Not a lot of places to sit inside. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends, and I would love to come back the next time I'm in town.

Our favorite place in Asheville for brunch! For many reasons, the atmosphere is welcoming and plentiful places to sit on a sunny day! The food is fantastic along with the weekly specials in coffee. A must visit if you're in Asheville.

Update: went here again on my most recent visit to Asheville and the food was phenomenal as always… I got the pork belly fried rice with an egg on top and it was pure bliss on a plate. This place does not miss…

Original review:
Wow what a meal, what great coffee and delicious baked goods. This place is much more than a coffee shop…

The food was better than most full kitchen restaurants I have dined at. The outdoor seating is plentiful and beautiful.

The grits bowl was covered in chorizo and banana peppers and had a combination of flavors that I have never had before and it honestly floored me. The shakshuka was perfectly seasoned and the eggs were just barely cooked so they mixed in with the peppers and tomatoes in the hot skillet to make a delicious velvety texture. The crispy bread served with it soaked up all the goodness. What a meal to start your day….

I’m from out of town, so I stopped in as I was passing through Asheville. The atmosphere is incredible. It’s cozy, inclusive, and overall a great third space to hang out, get some work done, or have brunch. The staff were kind. The food was great, and the coffee was incredible. I definitely recommend anyone to check out this place. I was very pleased and will definitely be back.

This place is a gem! We're lucky to have found it on day 1 of our 3-day trip in Asheville, so we didn't go anywhere else for breakfast. It has a rustic, relaxing ambiance. Food was so good! Coffee was even better! Will definitely go back to this place. Highly recommended!

Amazing place for coffee and breakfast. They have a seasonal menu and i got the biscuits and gravy which were amazing. I also sampled the pancakes and it was super crispy and fluffy. I recommend coming if you are carving good breakfast food.

Delicious meal, quick service, plenty of tables outside. Was able to order inside with my dog. There are plenty of dogs on the outside seating area. Has to be leashed, of course. Parking is a bit tricky on the street but I found a space after a couple of minutes.

I had a another favorite breakfast place until now. One visit and I'm hooked. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. Every drink we ordered was beautiful. The food presentation was very pleasant to the eye and every bite from sweet to savory was mouth watering. Highly recommended!

Consistent, excellent quality breakfast options. Mostly outdoor seating, 1/3 covered with ceiling heaters. Limited indoor seating. If the weather is nice it can be packed out the door so plan accordingly. Dog friendly outside but don't be a jerk.

Overall, had a wonderful experience at Liberty House Coffee Shop. The food was delicious, the service was
excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I would highly recommend Liberty
House to anyone looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot in Asheville. (My 7 yr old provided the photos)

I have nothing but praise and drool worthy memories for this establishment.

If you find youself waiting in a long line on the weekend, look past it and consider staying, it's worth the wait!

Everything i mean EVERYTHING was absolutely top notch, fresh and the flavors all on point!

Love the seasonal menus.

My favorites were as follows;
cream of quinoa,
huevos rancheros,
liberty quiche,
cold brew with oat milk,
the baked good (cream puff, rhubarb hand pies, lemon poppy donuts & cookies)
sourdough pancakes.

The quiche was a bit crispy on top for me but the flavor was delicious.
The sourdough pancakes made it to bottom of list from all the items ordered only because they were a bit too wet inside for my taste but the crispy outside and yeasty sourdough taste were so good!

You wait in line, order food, look for a seat outdoors in their yard and sit back and enjoy the live music on the weekends.

They also have a beautiful garden with veggies and herbs. 😍

The food is wonderfully palate pleasing and filling & the atmosphere makes it hard to leave!

We stopped here while visiting Asheville and we loved their breakfast! The wait was long, maybe 15-20 min for food, but totally worth it. I had the breakfast sandwich that was amazeballs, and my wife loved her sourdough pancake. We also had a scone that was great, too. We would visit again!
