Great Spot for something different than the normal brewery scene in Asheville. Very extensive cocktails made here. I always have a great time visiting. Speak Easy feel 💜

Tricky to find, but worth it! 👌 The drinks are a bit pricey, but definitely well crafted, and delicious! The Bartenders are very good at their job. The entertainment was wonderful as well!

Very cool speakeasy style bar slightly off the beaten path in Asheville. Drinks were excellent. Try the tobacco smoke infused old fashioned.

Wow! Very impressed. Very cool atmosphere, great drinks, we loved it. Would highly suggest. Don’t expect a trendy atmosphere or drinks but that is why we LOVED it. If you’re looking for a unique cocktail and unique experience this is worth it. They know what they’re doing.

Where to begin? This neo-Victorian, folk-gothic bar features stunning antiques & art. Two upright pianos, laden with books; books & hideway spots to get cozy; bar seating, tables, & stools. With over 600 whiskeys & more than 1,000 spirits (including some difficult to find, as well as a few no longer produced) there is something for everyone. Friendly & knowledgeable mixologists make this place stand out. Some delicious bar snacks & a decent supply of board games make this a place to hunker down & stay for a while. Frequent live music & themed events. They also offer cocktail classes (see their website for details). An insanely-awesome patio/smoking area out back offers privacy & more coziness. Most of the establishment is wheelchair accessible, sans the patio. Another plus? Two gender-neutral washrooms. Hands down, this half-hidden Poe-esque bar is not to be missed.

First off, you have no idea what you are walking into. It is a portal to the past. A speakeasy, maybe?? The ambience, the decor, and a whole wall of every conceivable liquor! The bartender was friendly, helpful and a master of exotic cocktails. This will be a must stop every visit to Asheville!! Cannot review food, didn't have any

Possibly the best cocktail bar I have ever been to. And I’m no stranger to excellent cocktail bars. Go now. Ask to see the spirits menu if you’re in need of a little weight training.

Just stopped after a local dinner for a drink. Jazz band was playing and on point!

It is a little tricky to find, see the included photo. The address is on the front of the building so once you find that, you're in!

Definitely recommend!

I went into the Crow and Quill to get a night cap on my birthday. The service was amazing. Both bartenders were so sweet and accommodating. They made my birthday really special. I had the best gin and tonic ever (not kidding). I will definitely be coming back.

Must Go .."Secret" bar in Asheville. Go here for a quaint, pleasurable experience! Victorian-style decor in a house-like bar with couches & chairs. The alcohol selection is so massive & so it was great to have such incredible mixologists to stir up the drink you need! The menu was actually quite large for a speakeasy type vibe, which was really nice! There was a magician on Saturday night entertaining guests which truly added to our experience!
P.S. There is an outdoor smoking section.

They don't serve food FYI. Loved the speakeasy vibe, discreet entrance, low light, mood, and the best damn drinks I could have stayed hours but the sunshine squeeze didn't agree with my wallet after the 2nd one 😲. Great drinks!

Update: their old fashioned is so good. And their bourbon list is a book! This should be a must do if you're in Asheville.

Wow! These folks know what they're doing. Really cool spot with stuff to look at for days and good drinks too! If you haven't been here, put it on your list for cocktails now! Look for the green door. It's easy to overlook. And check out the back patio too! Kinda cute.

Had the best New Year’s Eve celebration here I’ve ever had! It’s such a vibe - the decor, the music, the drinks - it’s understatedly classy and fabulous without pretentiousness. It’s cozy and intimate, and I love that folks of all generations and backgrounds can enjoy and feel comfortable here. The New Orleans jazz and singer was next level, and the drinks are incredible even though they’re expensive but to their credit they literally infused the Fall Fashion drink with tobacco using a fancy machine and did not go light on the booze. And if all that is not enough, they also have board games! I wish I lived nearby because I cannot wait to go back!!!

The 5 stars for food is actually for the drinks. They have a vast selection of bourbon, the hubby was in heaven! Their signature drinks were unique & delicious! Be adventurous here, you may think you won't like how your drink tastes but wait for your mind to be blown. The atmosphere was freaking awesome. Who doesn't love a speakeasy!? P.S. - In case your wondering, leave your kids at home.

Had a absolutely fantastic experience at the Crow and the quill. Great conversation with the bartenders and Jacob made me undoubtedly the best hot toddy I’ve ever experience! The old fashions and buttered rum was delicious to the pallet as well!

Very cool place with an impressive selection of cocktails and whisky. It’s a little cramped though and after a while one has to wait a little bit to order a drink. Arrive and leave early, is my advice ;)

Great energy, vibe, cocktails and spirits selection. If I lived in or near Asheville, I'd haunt this place often!
