Fatz Cafe - Asheville

I ordered the Fish adn Chips, it was good!! Also ordered their world famous Calabash Chicken and I love it too.. Was good and forgot to take photo of it. Next time cause will be back for sure.

Food was great! Best fish I've had in a while. Our server was super friendly. The portion sizes were big. We had to get boxes to take everything back to our hotel. Masks were worn by staff and tables were marked for proper social distancing.

Scrumptious and lots of food! This was our first visit and it was superb. Large, delicious portions cooked perfectly. Our server was so polite and friendly. Next time we are in Asheville, we will be sure to visit ❣

We had just pulled off 40 after driving all day. This place was EXACTLY what we needed. Loaded fries were so gooey and topped perfectly. I had a Maple Bacon Wedge salad. The bleu cheese and candied bacon complemented each other so well. The Kentucky Bourbon bbq sauce was some of the best I've ever had, and I LOVE Barbecue. Here is a pic of my son's Daddy mac double stack. He was impressed.

If you have time, stop it. It's worth it.

Great burger if you want one that's actually cooked and not from a fast food chain, not to mention the mountain rings! Great bartender service from Nathan, very interactive. Will definitely be back for another one!

Really good food for a chain place. The service was fast, friendly, and you can tell that the people really like to work there. If you have never had Calabash style fried food, you have to try it.

We had so much fun at fat! The waitress was excellent and incredibly helpful as we were on vacation and she was able to give us great tips on things to do and places to go in the Asheville area. The general manager stopped by multiple times to make sure we were happy with our food and service. He had a great sense of humor and was even the one that took this picture! The food was all so delicious and there was plenty of it! I highly recommend.

Excellent dinner very homestyle. Server jorah made this a memorable and friendly dinning experience . The atmosphere has iconic pictures,a mix of booths and tables. They have a bar with many TV's with sports and news so you can see from most of the dinning area.

Wow! Mrs. Terry and Mrs. Julie displayed exceptional customer service. We were at a previous restaurant and told our wait time will be 35min- at the hour mark we checked in and they still did not have our table ready (party of 8). My spouse called Fatz and spoke to Mrs. Julie and she told us to come on over. When we arrived the table was already setup and we were greeted with a smile! Then come Mrs. Terry (our waitress)- very professional and kind. She was very attentive and kept checking on us. Everyone order was perfect. The food was great. These two ladies really need to be recognize because customer service like this is hard to find. But we were truly blessed to have these two ladies attend to us. On our way back home, we plan on stopping back by. Thank you both for your service and kudos to Fatz!

The food is great as always. Burgers are a little on the small side! Bacon cheese fries are amazing!

Ordered ToGo Sunday night and was helped by a nice blonde lady. She answered all my questions and made sure to include all my sauces with my chicken tenders and fries. It didn’t take that long too even though it looked kinda busy. Food and service were both real good.

This place is amazing! Food is incredible (I had cheese dip and the chicken and ribs), servers are attentive and go above and beyond. I wish there was a location near where I live!

Today is Sunday, Oct 30 and we ate at the smoky park highway location in asheville. The food was sub par but there was only one waitress working. I didn't catch her name but she displayed some of the most attentive and hardworking customer service I've seen in a long time from ANY establishment. I don't know who you are but I truly hope Fatz Cafe values your work ethic and we made sure to tip you accordingly. Absolutely amazing job and keep it up whoever you were!

I highly recommend Fatz! If you can get there "early", closer to 4 than 5 or 5:30 pm, it's a huge win!! The staff is fresh, the crowd is non existent and your service is so much better! Kudos to Mel on Smoky Park Hwy, Fatz . She was very nice and attentive to our needs. I had the chicken and shrimp with tater tots and the men had the shrimp and grits. It was all VERY GOOD! Their little rolls were delish!

The calabash chicken and shrimp was amazing! Coleslaw was super delicious too!

To go order for the delicious rolls. The manager was working the To Go desk. He made them fresh!! Great quick stop!

I frequent this location with my mother. Today I went there for my birthday dinner. The presentation of the cheesecake was absolutely beautiful.

This is one of the best southern style restaurant I have ever been to. The food was amazing. There service was prompt and friendly. Our server, Joriah, was amazing. I spent 15 + years in food and beverage. I wish all my servers were as good as him. Kind, humerus, and attentive.

I don't give 5 stars very often, however this restaurant deserves every bit of it. I had the steak and shrimp scampi and I wish I had taken a picture. The steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp was a delight. The wait staff were business and pleasant. The restaurant was clean. I didn't use the restroom so I can't comment on that. I was truly impressed. Outstanding.

Great new menu, enjoyed the hospitality and the cuisine. Must visit spot. General Manager Jimmy is professional and friendly! The staff are well trained and knowledgeable!
