Il Mondo Pizzeria

This review is following a long night shift at the hospital. All I gotta say is nurses gotta eat and that food on night shift has to be top tier because we're already fighting our brains and bodies to stay awake and keep our patients alive. The food we choose to fuel ourselves is sooo important. Il Mondo is a nightshift classic. Service is always fast and the food is always good which is what we really rely on. Absolutely love this place. We got:

BONELESS CHICKEN FINGERS
These are literally the best chicken fingers I've EVER had. I mean it. I always get these chicken fingers when I'm working in the city because these babies just make the shift vibes so much better. Always get the 8-count (or more if you're sharing), but seriously the batter they use is always crispy, nicely seasoned and salted and ALWAYS crispy. The chicken is perfectly salted EVERY time. I'm telling you I've ordered these babies so many times and the quality is top tier every time. I stand by what I said...the BEST chicken fingers I'ver EVER had. Also, get their honey mustard. Il Mondo's honey mustard is a MUST with their chicken fingers and fries. Stuff is liquid gold, with a perfect ratio of mustard and honey. Delish.

PEPPERONI PIZZA
Pepperoni pizza was so tasty! Simply delicious, crispy outer edge pepperoni, red sauce and mozzarella. The pizza is massive for a large like just massive. One slice is huge, I folded my pizza in half like I folded the crust in half kinda way, once I was a few bites in. Let me tell ya, the first bite is just, yes, because the pizza is hot, the cheese pull is there and the dough is chewy with the crust slightly crunchy so it's got a fabulous bite to it. That pepperoni is so flavorful, teeny bit spicy for someone with a super low spice tolerance, but I thought it was so yummy, the crispy outer edge is my favorite part. Every bite was thoroughly enjoyed. Il Mondo knows how to make a classic Pepperoni Pizza.

ALFREDO PIZZA
Have never had an Alfredo Pizza, but man what a funky combo! Alfredo and pizza united! Never would have thought this would work, but wow it's so good! They use the same delicious homemade pizza dough to start and top it with their Alfredo Sauce, grilled chicken and broccoli. It truly is such a surprisingly good combo, it's not too saucy, just enough that it is obviously an Alfredo sauce based pizza, their chicken is ALWAYS moist and that broccoli is fresh, with a slight crunch that you only get with fresh, not frozen broccoli with a slight char from the cooking process. Just divine.

I love Il Mondo, everything on their menu is just fresh and delicious quality, through and through. I will say that getting delivery is preferred for me because there is literally no parking, unless you want to quickly double park with your hazard lights on and someone in the passenger seat. Totally up to you how you wanna get your food. But you have to try the food here, it's busssssin!

They sell $5 slices and 1 slice is enough to fill you up. I fid not have high expectations but the buffalo pizza is sooo good. They are open till late night so perfect for students pulling an allnighter.

best pizza place in boston and its not close
Slices are 4.50 each, one slice is easily enough for a meal. Great pizza with amazing toppings. Service is amazing everytime i come. the man at the counter always greets every customer and i have never seen him argue or misstreat a customer in any way. on top of that they are open later than almost any place. They close at "1am" but numerous times i have come in after 2am and there was still steady customers and great service.
There is no place in boston that can match their quality, service, price and convienience. its not close.

Just ordered here for the first time and I am very impressed. The buffalo chicken salad is exactly what I was craving especially while staying at children's hospital for a few days. It was made the way I like it. The onion rings i got are delicious. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The pizza was phenomenal and the service was just as excellent. Great man running the counter, we loved him! 12/10 I would recommend, I will totally be going back!

Second best pizza I have ever had. First was in Italy of course! :) We had the Chicken Bacon Ranch which was SO PERFECT! The flavors were AMAZING and it looked like it was made with a lot of care. I couldn't believe the amount and size of the pieces of chicken! WOW!!! The size of the pizza was so big we couldn't fit the box of leftovers in the refrigerator!!! Such an amazing place for pizza and they sell by the slice too!!!

I just get slices which are like 4 dollars for a slice. They heat it up for you. I like the chicken bacon and ranch slice better than the BBQ but that's just me.

Have you ever wanted that perfect fried onion ring? I’m talking about that nice size onion ring that has that perfect golden brown crunch. Even when you bite into it you can hear that delicious crunch and that almost caramelized taste from the onion. I highly recommend IL Mondo! If you are looking for high quality onion rings, this is the spot :-)

For a big city, it's hard to find decent food open late in Boston. Il Mondo is open late and is delicious. They also serve pasta, sandwiches and salad. I recommend the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza.

Very good pizza slices, wraps at very reasonable prices and more importantly it is open for long hours. I would like to visit again.

Been the past two nights while my son has been at Children’s. Gentleman at the counter is super nice, and yes, slices are massive. Very happy with the pizza, might come back for a third night in a row ;).

I am new to the city as I have just transferred colleges and I have been searching around for good pizza places in the area for an easy dinner when needed. This place is a hidden gem! I had ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza and it is by far the best CBR pizza I have ever had. I look forward to trying more from the menu.

Delicious large slice of pizza. I got the halal pepperoni pizza and was delicious. Very close to the T and on a very vibrant street. Must try.

Nice and easy breezy place with very large slices at very affordable price. Its a heaven for poor students in the area!😃 Their pizzas (and sandwiches) are very good, especially something with chicken, that's very good quality. The Ernesto or chicken-bacon pizza is the most popular followed by buffalo chicken.

I only have issue with the size and price of wings! There should be smaller sizes and more affordable prices. Same applies for their pastas!

This is one restaurant in the area which is reasonably cheap and opens late at night. The pizza slices are delicious and huge. So are the pastas.

I got take out and wow!! It’s amazing!!! I got chicken ziti broccoli Alfredo and chicken finger dinner, it is AMAZING! Igreat portions too
