For some reason, I didn’t get a survey code to leave a review on the website (I think the delivery information was there instead), but I wanted to let the store know that Kimberly in appliances is amazing. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. For some reason there was a glitch with the discount on the appliances and she was determined to make sure we got the discount. She’s an asset to the team and any appliances my partner and I need for our new home, we will surely be back in to see her. Thank you Kimberly!

I shop at Lowe’s Home Improvement at least weekly. I’ve been a cardholder since 2001. My first review. Willie in the large appliance department in Wake Forest is phenomenal. His level of customer service is unmatched. He spends time explaining everything from a robot vac to a stove needed with specific requirements. For the vac, the first box was tattered. He made sure I got a box less worn. This was AFTER he explained why the option was the best product for the price. Product knowledge! For the stove, he took the time to research in-store & online for the specific odd options I required- electric, front knobs, limited digital in white options for my elderly dad. Found it. Ordered it. Secured delivery with a detailed explanation of what the next steps are. I always come through the dept with a cart full of items and still loading more. He takes the time to ensure my cart/trolley is balanced without threat of items falling and will even pull/push my cart to customer service or checkout. He helps my hubby load the heavy items onto the truck. These tasks may seem to be the normal job requirements. They are but not everyone in the store takes the time to learn my name and call me by name. When customer service could not locate an item that online said was in store, he did not dismiss me. He searched & searched until he found it. My only complaint is that Willie is not cloned and at every register, on every aisle and at each door greeting customers with his warm helpful personality. Thank you Willie! I commend you on all you do to make me return to Lowe’s and look specifically for you on my weekly trips to the Wake Forest store!

My partner and I went to buy appliances for our new house last night and were helped by Kimberly (appliances) and Carletta (assistant store manager). Kimberly was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for appliances. Even though it was a very busy night with lots of customers around, she was able to help everyone effectively and with care.

We ran into an issue with our purchase (at no fault of Kimberly’s) and Carletta came to sort it out. She was very patient, considerate, and stuck around until our problem was completely solved. I totally recommend purchasing appliances from this Lowe’s store.

I wanted to leave an amazing review for Timothy Tant. Every time my husband and I go in there, he's always polite, super helpful, and friendly! I can't recommend him enough, for years!

Lowes in Wake Forest is outstanding! Nothing at all like the terrible customer service in Henderson NC. Very much worth the drive!

I was lucky to come in on the day, Gary Nelms was working. He went above and beyond to help me with my purchase for my new flooring.

Me and my dad needed a ton of supplies to build an wheelchair ramp at my house due to an unexpected tragic accident. Justin was amazing! He helped us get every item we needed, literally like 25 pieces of 2x4x12s, 4x4s, 2x6s, bolts, screws, ect. Great thing about him was after he helped load the wood he insisted to help us find the right size screws, brackets, bolts, nuts and everything else even though we told him that it was ok we would try to find the rest and that he was already a great help. You just don't see that a lot anymore, people willing to go the extra mile for a customer when he wasn't even asked. I am going to contact the manager to let them know how great of an employee he is, hope he is rewarded for his kindness!

We recently have remodeled our masterbath in our home and bought an American Standard VorMax toilet @ Lowes. Contractors didn't install both nut caps. Steve @ the Wake Forest Lowe's helped solve the problem in an instant. Thanks again Steve for taking the time to help the customer with a dilemma! 👍

Thanks to Elizabeth in your flooring dept on 6/1/23. she provided an outstanding example of customer service. She helped us pick out a long carpet runner and volunteered to retrieve a special cart to move this to checkout and to car. That's how you retain a loyal customer

My trip to the Lowes in Wake Forrest, NC, was the best trip to Lowes I've ever had. We were moving from PA to NC and needed to outfit the house we bought. We needed a fridge, washer, dryer, lawn mower, gas grill and accouterments for the appliances. We had our final walk-through and decided to go to Lowes to look. It was 730pm so we figured by the time we arrived, no sales associate would be around to help. This is normal in the north-east. We arrived and went straight to appliances where we were greeted by Kaitlyn S. She showed us washer/dryer combos in the price range we wanted. She came with us to look at fridges. She was very patient and checked stock and answered questions for us. We decided on a fridge and we went with Kaitlyn to get the order set up for delivery. We asked if we could get other items delivered. She told us we could and asked what we wanted. We started with the gas grill. She put that on our order. Lawnmower was next. Lawnmower was a direct ship. All the other items are being delivered. Most within 2 days. Kaitlyn got our order set up and deliveries scheduled in less than 45 minutes. At the Lowes up north, this would have been at least a three hour affair and would have likely resulted in 3 separate orders. We did have some questions about a few other items. We spoke to a manager named Sam S. He was super. He answered our other questions while Kaitlyn set up the deliveries. The whole experience was fantastic. I've never been so happy buying major appliances.
Update: 8/5/2022 - Same great service. I keep going back.
Update 5/13/2023 - Well, it was not the same great service. We got excellent service in the lighting section and the door section. Checkout was a joke. Dude behind the counter didn't bag anything. Just put stuff in piles. We had to bag ourselves. That was lame. He certainly didn't want to be there and it showed. I'll go back but maybe next time I'll self-checkout
Update 11/4/23: much better experience. Got a new screen door and some ancillary items. They had what I needed. Got my stuff and was out in a flash. Great trip.

This store really has a good inventory (over other Lowe's stores in the area).

Great experience with the paint department. Pricey but good paint.

Probably the best Lowes I've been to ever. Doesn't hurt that they have a great hot dog vendor outside pretty much daily.

I encountered a Salesman who was familiar with the inventory and helpful. Unfortunately, that is hard to find these days it was refreshing.

Great service. Everything you need for every kind of project: from cleaning a house to building a house

If I cannot find what I'm looking for there is always an employee who can help or get the right person. Lee-Ann in the cabinet department was super helpful with a recent job. Mitch the store manager stepped in to help with delivery/return issue and made everything very easy. The young lady (Ashley??) in woodworking was also super helpful. Really like this store because it's not overly busy and messy like some other stores.

My husband and I went to the Henderson store and were helped by Beth and Michael. They were very helpful. We bought an oversized mirror and it wouldn't fight in our car. Beth and Michael went to great lengths to make sure we had the mirror secured so we could get it home safely. Thank you Beth and Michael.

We were in need of a washer and dryer immediately. Our previous set went out. Tina in appliances was amazing at finding our new set. She looked high and low and found us a new beautiful washer and dryer set that was in stock!! The set was delivered that following weekend and the service men were great as well! Thank you Wake Forest Lowes for being awesome!
