PODS Moving & Storage

PODS is a great way to pack and store your things your way. They move the PODS container to wherever you need it to be delivered (Ohio to Massachusetts). I chose to go to the storage location 25 minutes away from my home, and it was easy to unload what I wanted into my vehicle. One day, I went 3X, and it was easy. They had a 30% sale for the move, which was ideal. They are reasonable, and I liked that I could pack my things the way I wanted. The call to PODS was staffed with great representatives who are very helpful with all your questions.
I highly recommend the PODS storage system versus movers. They do have 3rd party Packers, movers if needed, but it was pricey, and they are not part of PODS. I called some friends and got help moving things with them. Now my PODS is unloaded/ empty, and I am very glad I chose this move with PODS.

Very easy and convenient to use. PODS dropped off the box and picked it up for me, then moved it across the country and did the same thing at my new place. Once I loaded it up I didn't have to worry about it, and I was able to track it online. Pricey but for us it was super worth it.

Excellent! Container arrived on time and arrived at my destination on time. I moved from Boston to Miami and everything arrived as it was packed. Will definitely use again.

I loved PODS when I moved across the country. It was a seamless process and I did not worry about my belongings.

using the pod was covenient had the time I needed to load ,didn't have to rush to load and unload the pod !!! no driving involve !!! they do the driving !!!!!

We had a good experience with PODS when we moved to a new home. From start to finish we found all the staff we dealt with to be professional and easy to work with. Having used a POD for our move we now could think of so many uses and would recommend using them for whatever needs storing.

Compared with other services this seemed to be the best option for me. My car is too small to tow a UHaul trailer and a full moving service would have been double the cost due to the distance. A friend had used PODS for a cross country trip and had a positive experience. Everything from the quote, delivery of the pod and redelivery was professional and on time. The only issue I had was that the empty pod that arrived had a sticky door and when I called it took a day for someone to arrive to help open the door. We had managed to pry it open in the meantime. So when the POD was redelivered we asked the driver to open the door for us, which he said he was going to do anyway. I was very happy to hear that he considered that first and he opened the POD without any problems. Deliveries and pickups were all timely as we were on a schedule. We didn't know anyone at our destination home so we utilized the Hire A Helper provided. They were also fantastic. A great crew and I'd recommend taking advantage of these features. I felt comfortable that they were recommended and I didn't need to find the labor on my own in an unfamiliar city. This option of POD and hired helpers is PERFECT for a middle aged woman physically unable to do all this physical work alone.

I moved from MA to SC and this was the easiest and most affordable solution. Everyone was extremely competent and everything went according to schedule. I highly recommend you book as soon as you know your dates just to secure the date for your move. I put an airtag in my POD to track it just in case and it made it to SC in 4 days which was quicker than they initially said! It was ready to go by the time I needed it and everything arrived in perfect condition. There are hooks for bungee cords so invest in those to secure larger furniture items. I also got the POD delivered, packed, shipped, redelivered, and taken away all within a 10 day period. No problems! I highly recommend PODS.

I read a lot of negative reviews on one particular Facebook page. It made me nervous but I had had family tell me what great experience
they had with using Pods. I was moving from Boston to Florida and decided to go with Pods. I could not have been happier. They were very professional, they called when on the wsy, and came on time. They delivered all our items with nothing broken. Very professional. Excellent customer service from our assigned rep. Our original plan was a one way uhaul rental. Once I compared prices, it was cheaper and a whole lot less stressful to use Pods!

We used PODS to mover from Massachusetts to Missouri. We used a 16ft container. The delivery, pick-up, redelivery and final pick-up all were on time with friendly drivers. Nothing was damaged in the move which was amazing. The price quoted did not change and was just less than half of the best quote from moving companies. The only issue we had was with the door not closing smoothly, we had to play with it a bit to close it. All in all, we will absolutely go with PODS again.

We had a great experience with PODS moving from MA to FL. It was dropped off and picked up when needed on both ends. It was also great to not worry about our POD being stored for a few months. It was also much more cost effective than cross country movers.

I would highly recommend PODS to anyone who is moving, but cannot move into their new dwelling right away. We needed to be out of our house in July, but couldn’t move into the new place until December. PODS provided safe storage for our belongings. After the POD was packed, it was moved to within 10 miles of our new address, and stored there until we were able to move in.

I had a good experience. Everything was explained about how I would be billed and they can drop off the pod even if I wasn't home. I did stay home to wait for it. The driver did an excellent job "parking" it. He was very pleasant. Customer service was excellent. They sent an email to follow up and the manager or the rep gave his personal business number to call if there were any problems. So far so good. I am having it picked up Saturday because the passing of my house is Monday, so we'll see how that goes. But I'm expecting it to go smoothly.

I have used PODS for a long distance move. I have been happy so far with my experience. I have had one POD delivered and two in storage. I hope to have the two in storage delivered in a couple of months. Excellent customer service, I have received a phone call the evening before a delivery and again on the day of delivery with an approximate time. The PODS have been delivered and picked up when they said they would and the drivers have been friendly and polite. Excellent experience so far.

We had a really good experience using PODS storage. We used this service because we had to move out of our apartment by a certain date and could not move in immediately to our new place. It was easy to schedule the different stages of the move and to make changes online. The prices quoted were the prices charged with no hidden charges, taxes, or fees and they were charged at the correct times. The drivers were very accommodating to make sure to place the container in the desired locations. The only negative I can mention is the scheduling. The drivers were (hours) late for every single delivery/pick up. PODS would give a time window of 3 hours and the deliveries were not made during these times. Luckily I was not waiting around for them to arrive aside from the initial delivery. They need to be more realistic in their scheduling to ensure the correct delivery times. This is a very convenient service and worthwhile if you need to store things in between moves.

Pods made out move so easy. The container was very clean, we were able to load two weeks leading up to our move date. Once we moved we unloaded and within two days had our POD picked back up. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time i've used PODS for a cross country move. My first baby was born about 2 months before we moved, so we opted to throw everything in a storage container instead of driving cross country. PODS has been great with both moves. The price is extremely fair and service associates have been clear and helpful. The container has arrived timely and been quite easy to pack and unpack.
I would highly recommend anyone moving cross country to consider PODS.
