Chapala Taco House

We live down the street. Its never disappointing..the food seems no matter what you order is served hot and a good amount...the lemonade..so good..great staff...small hole in the wall you can miss if not looking for..but look cause its the best Mexican restaurant in area.

Caldo and tortilla soup very good. Caldo could use more carrots and zucchini since I do love veggies. Enchilada plate with gravy was tasty. I had the chicken one I look forward to taste the meat enchilada too. Kitchen and servers “fighting” not necessary. Will return. 👍

Food was delicious and served hot and the service was very good especially when they were so busy as one of the few restaurants open during New Year’s Day.. It was my first time there and I will be going back…

Delicious food. We ordered the Gordita plate and puffy taco plate and gobbled everything up! Will definitely come back!

I always have the migas when we go here. They are outstanding, the great beans and potatoes and the salsas go so well with them. With corn tortillas, it's a great and filling meal. Service is always outstanding.

This place has great food and very decent prices.

Tacos were made well. Finally found a taco place that doesn't serve their chorizo and egg tacos full of grease. Why 3 stars? Customer service. The lady behind the counter was obviously bothered by me placing an order.... at a restaurant. I was the only customer in the whole place at the time. I hope this was an isolated incident. I'll come back next week to give it one more chance, as the tacos were good. Nobody wants to be treated like a bother... especially when they are choosing to spend their money at your establishment. Treat me with respect next time, and I'll update to 5 stars.

Update: Came back to give it another chance. The customer service was outstanding compared to last time! Because if that I have updated my review to 5 stars.

Perfect cozy spot. Always feel welcomed. I visit this place 2-3 times a week and have not once seen any unhappy faces. The employees have beautiful integrity and consistency with their hospitality. And the kitchen always delivers nothing less than delicious. Man, I love Chapala Taco house.

Great neighborhood TexMex!! Very inexpensive without losing the fresh, homemade essence. Can't believe I've slept on it for so long.

Food was very good, prices affordable, but the waitress had an attitude. You had to ask for everything, then took her time to get back.
We will try again, maybe she's had a bad day.

I literally love this place! Every time I’m on that side of town I stop in for the best food in town, tacos, breakfast plates, soups and the best enchiladas I’ve ever had …if you go get extra sauce…theirs is beyond amazing. Never been disappointed! Staff is always kind and welcoming and same folks working there since I moved here!

Loved the breakfast taco and coffee specials. Will have to go back to try some of the plate specials.

Caldo is super good, beef or chicken, I have tried both. Homemade corn tortillas are sooo good. Only problem is parking area is small, so sometimes it's hard to find parking.

This restaurant has been my go to for breakfast for the last 9 years. This place has some hard working ladies employed there. The service and food are great. The portions of food are appropriate and their menudo and salsa remind me of my mom's. I highly recommend this place.

They have lunch plates with the tea for 7,74 and three Enchiladas only for 4,14 cents.yummy they are very tastey. Also they have difference day specials three Enchiladas with rice and beans salad and tea for 6.25

It used to be good now is horrible bad customer service waitresses arguing between them in front of the customers they are not nice to the customers food is just blah

Love this place! We get tacos from here every Saturday and they never disappoint! 10/10 would recommend!
