One of the best credit union I have known..
I don't have anything negative I have to say but it's one of the best banks with great employees 👏 🙌

This credit union just has so many annoying little things, I hate it. I make weekly transfers to an account that belongs to a family member, every freaking time I transfer money I have to put in a verification code. Verify it once and be done! Yes it's me, transferring funds to the same account again this week just like every week since I opened my account with this place. And an email encouraging us to use the drive thru or mobile app after each lobby visit, OK we get it you don't want us in your lobby!!! This credit union is decades behind the one we left. And not only do they not refund ATM fees, they charge you to use ATMs that aren't RBFCU ATMs. They never answer the phone, it's always at least a 20 minute wait to get a callback. And don't chat online because those people are just rude. On the phone you may occasionally get someone with a personality. So in closing, just RUN!! Go somewhere else.

First, let’s focus on a positive: they have great vehicle loan rates. I was able to finance 2 older vehicles at a 1.95% rate which is a great rate for a 1993 and a 1996 vehicle. Unfortunately, that is the ONLY positive about using this credit union. I purchased (rbfcu purchased) these vehicles from a private party, out of state. When I originally spoke with a representative they informed they would need 4 things: the original vehicle titles, Texas vehicle state inspections, power of attorney from the seller and the statement of fact. Easy enough, right? We sent in all of the information within 5 days of being approved for these loans. The seller, reluctantly, sent in vehicle titles for 2 rare vehicles in excess of $100k which was not easy for him to do. I don’t want to write a novel so I will sum it up. Rbfcu sent the wrong forms, had the wrong mileage written etc so the seller in IL had to overnight (this was rbfcu request) 4 total times due to horrible communication at the credit union. I went in to the location now 3 weeks ago to close the loans. After closing on the first vehicle, I was told a form had been wrongfully filled out by a staff member and couldn’t close on the second loan. Mind you, I called in the previous Tuesday to confirm everything needed to close was on hand and was told “yes sir, we have everything” the communication at this credit union is horrible, the customer service is horrible and they do not care for their “members” as promised. So here I am now 6 weeks after this process started, seller has yet to receive funds and all I get from the staff at rbfcu is “the checks were sent regular mail” which is strange because I was promised they’d be sent overnight. Maybe the complications come from a private party sale from another state but surely I’m not the only member who has made a purchase from another state. I vow that I will pay these loans off within 12 months max and close all of my accounts with the institution. I think I would’ve been many steps ahead going a different route with another institution and have definitely learned my lesson. “You get what you pay for” which now makes sense why their rates are so low. They pay their staff low which is why they’re not good nor willing to help their members.

Tired of receiving multiple spams. Would never to business with them.
