I registered an app making camp here for my daughter. The instructor Shawn was really great. My kid told me that he was very interesting, gentle and smart teacher. She learned a lot from him.
This camp program gave my daughter an interest to computer science. I am very satisfied with the program here.

All 3 of my kids absolutely loved this place! My 13 year old son was dreading going-he hates social things and prefers to be home. I was so nervous about how he would like it. At the end of the first day he was actually smiling! He said, "I guess it was okay". His sister tattled on him and said, "He sure looks like he's having a great time all day long!" The classes kept the kids interested and entertained all week long and I had no complaints getting them to go the rest of the week! We will definitely be back!!

This is an excellent place to introduce kids to computer science. I have 7 year old twin girls that have been attending since last year and they love going there. I am impressed by what they teach. Their lesson plans are age appropriate and provide a great foundation in computer science. For example, the girls came home and told me they learned about encryption. My initial thought was: 7 year old kids learning encryption??? But, they showed me what they learned and it made sense and the best part was it made sense to them! I high recommend I-Code.

Great fun beginning the learning process into the coding world. Highly recommend Minecraft courses. The staff was amazing, especially Dillon!! He helped my daughter feel comfortable and explained everything in understanding terms and was highly versed in coding.

Fantastic program! My son has been enrolled for 2 years and still loves going every Saturday for 2 hours. Kids are not simply stuck in front of a computer learning how to make video games. The curriculum is well thought out and developed to encourage critical thinking, independent thinking and more importantly how to work as team.

iCode is simply the best! If you are wondering where your kids should go for the best of computer programming or coding after school; iCode is the place. Their teaching methodology is so perfectly designed that kids find it fun to learn and enjoy even though they are learning coding or robotics or gaming software. I highly recommend them for all computer related after-school activities!

My 6th grader really enjoys iCode! He's in Red belt and his favorite sprints have been: robotics, music making and the final project where kids worked in teams to program a robot to turn in response to colored lights! It's worth driving him from Dallas twice a week for class!

I highly recommend iCode for any child who is interested in technology. iCode has a state of the art facility, highly qualified and degreed teaching staff and administrators. iCode will build an incredible foundation for any child interested in pursuing a computer science degree. With the lack of STEM schools in the area it is filling a huge need in our community. My son LOVES going to classes every week and has learned so much in just his short 8 months attending. I look forward to many more years at iCode and preparing my son for a future in computer science.
Thank you iCode!!!!

A unique school which is not limited to just teaching programming. Kids go through 8 month-long "belts", each building more and more complex skills ranging from visual introduction to programming, design thinking, robotics, computer art and so on. The school allows kids of different age to start at an appropriate level so older kids with potentially more previous exposure to computing don't end up in the same class as kindergarteners.

To the negative reviewer out there - I've been employed in software development and IT for over 20 years. My youngest daughter has been with iCode for almost a year. Never, not even once, I had any doubts in the quality of iCode program or their instructors. Please do your research before posting a negative opinion about a solid local business.

iCode is helping my son Wyatt discover how much he enjoys coding. He's been going for a year and is now an Orange Belt. There's a good mix of instruction, challenge, and fun. The instructors do a great job of teaching and coaching the kids, and they also provide regular feedback on his progress to us parents. The entire setup and facilities are "cool" -- so even a middle school kid wants to be part of it and work hard during his free time.

Last April's Hackathon gave Wyatt an opportunity to work within a team in a very competitive environment. It was incredible to see him so focused, intense, and engaged with his teammates. That event also gave him experience in managing setbacks and moving forward to find a solution -- all with a ticking clock in the background. That was really something to see.

Although I respect everyone's right to give feedback, I have to say we've experienced consistently great things with iCode. Wyatt's attended classes as well as summer camps and they've all been rigorous but fun. Definitely a good use of time and money. The parents I've spoken with also have good things to say.

If your kid has an interest in computers or coding (or even video games, Minecraft, online stuff, etc.), then I recommend checking iCode out. It just might be the right environment to bring out a passion or talent that's been lurking somewhere in there.

My son has attended iCode ever since it's inception. He has learned so much through each sprint, growing more and more in his computer knowledge. The instructors are all highly skilled and qualified. The communications between school and parent is excellent as well, I receive weekly emails on my son's progress.
I highly recommend this school for any child interested in computer science. Wish the owners would create a full time accredited school. Frisco needs a STEM school!! FISD needs to catch up and start offering more programs like iCode as part of their curriculum.

Icode East Frisco’s customer focus and management is at par under Gaurav Singla’s directive. Gaurav has always taken time to patiently address all my and my children’s concerns and mitigated them to my satisfaction. Quality learning and quality staff makes coding fun for kids. My kids wouldn’t give up these classes for anything else. I would highly recommend this center for computer coding and learning enrichment.

My son enjoys all the classes and summer camp here. It’s small class setting and he can get help whenever he needs it. He wants to continue to learn all the way to the black belt!

Both children (boy and girl) participated in multiple summer camps and really enjoyed the program. The arts in the curriculum added personality to projects. We intend to join the after school belt program!
