This has never happened before: bought LED headlight bulbs on their website. Got the pickup OK and I got a phone call while I was in route that oops, computer made a mistake and they could have the bulbs in a couple of hours saving me a trip! Not use to this level of customer service! Advance gets an A+.

Really helpful, I was trying to find a metal Air Force logo that goes on your car window. I've been looking all around for one, the store didn't have one but the guy at the counter said he could order me one and have it in the next day. I've been wasting a lot of time checking different places in town to find one so I appreciate it his suggestion and and did so. Jacob was very helpful he deserves a raise or at least a pat on the

Knowledgeable crew that is always helpful. The online ordering and rewards program makes it easy. If they don't have what you need they can usually get it shipped to the store in a day or two. The parking is behind the building and even has some shaded spots in case you need to make a quick repair.

The noodles were excellent very tasteful.

When I needed a new battery it was a very quick And painless experience getting it from here. I was a difficult customer because there was an online coupon that I wanted to use. They helped me find the correct battery online and store and then once I purchased it got it in my vehicle right away! I hate having to get my battery replaced but I’m very happy to get it done here.

Unlike other "parts places" my personal experience w advanced has been super. These guys know what they speak of. They aren't just out to sell anything and everything. They actually help you out w your situation. Very knowledgeable staff.

Don’t go to any other auto store then this one in San Marcos seriously the only place that really cares and goes above and beyond for people. I forgot the guys name but he stayed 2 hrs after they closed and called someone who needed to take apart my car so they could put in a new battery for me since my car was built weird. The people there are so sweet and offer a student discount for students.

I've been to the location MULTIPLE times, and was helped by the same employee on all 4 occasions. Justin is helpful, polite, and went out of his way to help me. As a single mom, it meant so much to me. Not only did he assist me in finding the parts I needed, but he also helped me replace my blinker bulbs and my headlights. He's wonderful with my kids, making them laugh and letting them watch him change my bulbs. They look forward to seeing Mr. J and wave to him from our car when we drive past the store. I ordered a part online for in-store pickup, and unfortunately it could not be found once I got there. However, the staff did not give up on me, and John even offered to go to another store that had it in Kyle and bring the part back for me. What could have been a very frustrating experience was turned into a minor inconvenience by their friendliness and professionalism. I'll keep coming back if that's the type of service I can expect.

100% best auto parts store in San Marcos and Kyle. My oil filter cap broke as I was changing my oil on Sunday night. I live in Kyle so I called the Kyle location first, it said online that they had 5 in stock but when I talked to them they said they had none in stock. I called the next closest one in San Marcos and they had a few in stock. Carlos was awesome and said he would stay after for me to come pick it up since they were closing, best experience and people ever!!

Thanks to the manager Mr. Carlos's help, me and my wife were able to get home safe and sound. Who gave us a helping hand even though he was already closing.

They tell it like it is. My Check Engine light is on and they told my why for free. Read my cars computer and said it was the for a new catalytic converter. They said that a new option is available, a gas additive that actually cleans the muck out of the converter and gives you six months to raise your finances. Glad I made the stop. You have your light come on get over there and find out why. Of course follow the manual and stop immediately to check the obvious. Belts, water, gas cap. Stay save out there.

I just want to say That Carlos from advance autopart is not only an advance employee he's a down to earth genuinely friendly and that guy is realy there to help you.He helped me when all the others on Guadalupe Street didnt.they triedthere customer service has changed.born and raised in san marcos they just built this advance,I don't like new like the original and the best.these guys at advance are realy our neighbors friends and community,thanks guys
