I was ordering several special orders and mistakenly requested a couple items that were wrong. I realized my mistake and mid-order changed part of it. I expected the person to cop an attitude but they were very kind and did not give me grief about changing my order. That to me says a lot about the staff.

I highly recommend calling this state agency when you are shopping for new insurance. They will give you a ton of information to help you make a informed decision on where to go for Auto/home insurance. I left a message and someone actually called me back the next day. Amy Stewart is the name of the person I called and she was more than willing to help me out.

The person I spoke with via phone was very helpful and patient in answering many y questions I had. :))

I am a professional (working in corporate America), educated woman and NOTHING prepared me for the insurance claims process in the US. I was then steered towards a public adjuster who was supposed to 'help me' with all of the damage and paperwork and he may have been one of the most unethical people I've ever encountered in my life.

The adjuster representing my big name insurance told me about the Board of Insurance and I filed a complaint. I honestly was not expecting very much; and figured I would go into a long queue.

You will receive a notification of your case assignment, and who is handling your case within 48 hours.

My case was assigned to Ms. Robecca Frey and she was AMAZING. I called her (I wish I had not waited), and literally folks, it was ALL OVER in 72 hours. She is knowledgeable, personable and human. She does this job to help all of us consumers with social justice. This is a FREE service! (I mean, I'm sure we pay for it w/ taxes, but you know what I mean).

The public adjuster was removed from the case within 3 days and my life continued in a much happier path, due to Ms. Frey and her work. If you are in trouble or feel something is wrong while in an insurance process, I highly recommend filing a thorough complaint (have a log with dates, names and all details) and then following up with your case consultant directly.

I was sent to this site by my Attorney. I didn't know they even existed. I was able to follow the prompts and leave my complaint. They actually followed up with me via email exactly when they said they would.

I am a former life/health/accident/LTC producer through DOI; and I am in the process of regaining my license. This means that I have had frequent contact with and dealings through DOI. Never, since 2007, through today, 9/12/2015, have I ever encountered anyone that was rude, unhelpful, or untrained in their field of knowledge. I never have any qualms about going to DOI with questions. They are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, dedicated and committed to assisting their Producers.

I filed a complaint! My health insurance UHC did not pay my emergency care. IDOI helped me. They answered the phone too!

I wish I could remember the name of the woman I spoke with. She was amazing. Very knowledgeable and patient with me.
