I've been shopping at Sound Source Music for over 30 years and they're always most helpful and understand my needs. Whether you're looking for entry level gear, or something more advanced, they'll be able to help you out. Great atmosphere for musicians of all skill levels!

Im looking for a electronic keyboard with a nice sound and an amp hookup for more sound.
I dont need anything too big because i drive cross country and spend most my time driving to location.
Something not to big with a nice sound.
I stopped at guitar center but prices were through the roof and no one assisted me.
If you can rreccomend a good unit ill be glad to stop by your shoppe.

Not only was Sound Source incredibly professional and easy to communicate with, but they went above and beyond to make the buying experience convenient, fair, and memorable. The store itself is beautiful, but it’s the staff that brought a higher level of professionalism to the table: kind, informed, and around every corner making it comfortable. Sound source has always been a solid.,iv had my bass worked on (and their tech is amazing btw), got a great amp from there.,and Mike Sanders knows what ya need,and if they don't have it in stock they can order it for you and give ya a call when it's in,(which iv done for my drumheads on several occasions,. they've always been hassle free,.and importantly their local,. anymore I order out of Sweetwater,.and get anything else I need artistically frome sound source.,,.let's hope they stay here in Mattoon for many many more decades to come.

This place has awesome customer service. With the 30 warranty on all guitars on any issue without question or hesitation they will fix it. This place is refreshing and I for one am very happy and thankful to have a music store like this. I highly recommend going here for all music needs.

Mike, the owner ALWAYS takes great care of its customers! If anyone has any experiences less then their expectations, just talk to Mike, he'll stand 110% behind you as we me all along the way from my first encounter with him many years ago to this day! and if I could over shoot the rating with a six star, I would in a heartbeat! It doesn't get any better then him. If any of you have a questionible issue, you can message me on Facebook before leaving negative reviews. You should see sound source for, and all of your sound and light needs as they are there to increase and MAKE sound events as feasible as possible, whether you want to DIY or simply just have it done, that's why it's SOUND SOURCE! Sound source Music has a great selection of DJ's, up lighting, and photo booths. They DJ weddings at our venue often and are always professional and timely. Thanks for being a great vendor to work with!

Sound Source has knowledgeable employees and a nice variety of musical instruments as well as PA systems. They also offer music lessons and sheet music.
