Dr. Jones and his staff have been amazing! They answered every question I had about my surgery and the aftercare. My husband has spoken to nurse Stephanie many times for me, when I am unable to. She has been phenomenal with us. Dr. Jones saved my quality of life! I can't thank them all enough for the quality of care I have received!

Dr. Jones was recommended by my husband and his brother as they are former patients. I had already consulted a general surgeon at Carle re: my procedure. However, I decided NOT to use Carle's surgeon Dr. Oliphant because his bedside manners were horrendous. He kept interrupting me and failed to listen to my concerns. When encountering Dr. Jones, I was more than pleased and his professionalism, knowledge of his specialty, his staff (especially RN Stephanie) far exceeded my expectations. They were better than how my husband and his brother described. They showed genuine concern and we explored options to figure out best approach re: my procedure. I have no reservations with recommending anyone to Dr. Jones. His office is clean, wait isn't long, office staff follows up prior to and after appointments to check on patients. Many times folks are quick to complain opposed to complimenting. Common courtesy doesn't cost anything and I was very pleased with Dr. Jones, Stephanie, RN and entire staff. I am recovering perfectly fine, no post surgical issues either.

Beautiful location nice building everybody was friendly and nice and helpful the orthopedic doctors are awesome too Dr. Cusick Dr. Polansky and Dr. Anderson they’re all great caring orthopedic doctors.

Great staff and doctors

Valet Parking, friendly greeters who will help with wheelchair and push to appointment, good signage for easy access to each department.
Carpeted floor makes pushing a manual wheelchair difficult, NO AUTOMATED HANDICAP SWITCH for the bathrooms which makes using the facility nearly impossible for 1 person in a wheelchair.

Be prepared to advocate for yourself or you will be left shivering and crying in bed for weeks in pain. You won't see the Dr. again and will only get to discuss your pain and surgery 6 weeks afterwards with the PA. Make sure to talk to the Dr. about pain care after the surgery before you agree to anything. Perhaps Christi really just cant handle this level of medical service. Reduced to one star. My recovery has been very problematic. Mostly due to trauma of being intense pain for weeks. I continue to have issues walking and having inflammation in the knee. Almost a year out from surgery I still am trying to mentally recover.

Update : The PTSD from the surgery and the events surrounding it has caused me to lose my job and most of my relationships.

Had my son in the ER on a Sunday with his throat nearly swollen shut. Barely able to swallow water and Dr Nathan Ackerman refused to allow a transfer. Sent him home with paperwork to call the next day for an "Urgent Appointment" at 3101 Fields South Drive. When we called, we were told that their records don't indicate an urgent appointment is necessary and the doctor is out of the office till Wednesday. This is after a CT scan already confirmed a tonsillar mass that is so large its blocking most of his throat. We were told to just go back to the ER as they had no appointments available in Champaign, Bloomington or Peoria locations.
We called Carle, after looking at his ER records and looking at his CT scan they got him in at 140p same day. Biopsy was done and now awaiting the pathology report so doctors can give us options for his treatment plan. So thankful for CARLE and the caring providers they have!!

I recieved a covid and influenza test 3 days prior to my scheduled appointment. I was told the results were not on file and i would have to wake 2 weeks. I offered to bring in or email my influenza and COVID-19 Results and was told it wouldnt allow me to still have my appointment.

The nurse then hung up on me immediately after i said i would like to cancel my appointment as i cant wait 2 weeks for medical help.

I hope to NEVER come to the fields again. Even with proof from OSF that i tested negstive there was nothing i coukd do with christie. Ill be continuing my healthcare needs at anywhere but here
