Joe's Italian Pizza in Springfield (not Lincoln)

I am pleased to say that this is the best mom and pop pizza place in Springfield. I haven't had a delicious pizza like this since I was a kid. I ordered one 16in and a 12 inch and it was altogether $29 which is not bad for the quality you get. It took them about an hour to prep. The bring the pizza out for you when you arrive. It fed three people and I will definitely be ordering from them from here on out. I highly recommend. Each bite on it's own is perfect. It doesn't cumble, the crust isn't hard or too chewy.

I have very fond memories of Joe's over the years - even driving by brings a smile to my face. So the nostalgia coupled with the amazing pizza brings it to 5 stars for me. The service is hit-or-miss depending on who helps you but its really never been the friendliest place to order from. My most recent order was hot & ready in the 45 minutes quoted and the young man who brought the order out was very nice. While they make a solid pizza with good crust and a sweeter sauce, don't pass over the lasagna - it is delicious!

Always a great pizza. Carry out (pickup, they bring it to your car) only so the atmosphere is as good as your vehicle. They are busy so be prepared to dial their number frequently but the pizza is worth any wait you may have.

If you can look past the person who takes the orders, this place is amazing. The pizza is delicious with fresh ingredients, crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside, airy crust!

birthday day pizza. My grandparents June and Sam segretto where loyal customers until they passed . I love the baked spegttie with meat sauce and sausage links and homemade Italian dressing I don't get to Springfield much now but this is and always will be one my very favorite restaurant.. if you have not ate there definitely go there

1 of the best pizzas around. The sandwiches are great as well. The prices are very low, especially in relation to quality! The owners are nice also. We love this place very much. My family eats here several times a month.

Best pizza in town. And I've had many. Been eating Joe's pizza since I was 12 or so. Now my kids are enjoying the awesome taste of Italy, right here in spfld. Go cards, lol just messin. Owner is big Cubs fan. Good to see your busy during these crazy times.

Joe's is the best pizza in town, according to me. The crust is crispy on the bottom, and soft on the top. The sauce is top quality, the sausage is unforgettable!! Honestly if you live in springfield and haven't tried Joes, shame on you. Nice local family owned, have kept their prices very low all these years. Definitely try a Joes pizza and get sausage on it, you will love it too!

Since 1976 Joe's has been the favorite pizza of many in Springfield. Eat in or carry out Jeff and the crew have been serving my family's favorite pizza and pasta in Springfield. No frills, no bar, no slots, no beer it is the perfect family spot for after a game, class or just to sit and talk. The first stop my kids maje when they come from college and a surprise for anyone who has never eaten there. It is great food and a fair price. Call ahead and find out the wait the get busy on game nights but Wednesday and Thursday seem to be the quietest if you are looking to stay. My wife's favorite is onion and sausage, but I love the Rigatoni with meatballs it sausage link on top.

Best pizza in central Illinois. Amazing pasta and po’boys. Great staff. Joes is a staple of Springfield. The place hasn’t changed since my childhood, it’s got a little wear, but still in great shape!!! The food is second to none!! Sausage, get the Sausage!!

Stumbled into this place after walking the sights. It was a great find, locally owned home made pizza and Italian food at a very reasonable price.

1st time getting baked lasagna with mushrooms and it was very good! Plenty of sauce, cheese, and mushrooms! Salad with Italian is awesome! Owners are great people too!

Joe's is one of my favorite pizza places. They have excellent crust! Their pastas are excellent as well! You can't go wrong at Joe's

Visiting Springfield, wanted to eat pizza, and invited by my son, I went there, having lived in Springfield until I was 20, never had pizza there, 1st slice I was amazed it was really good, service was friendly etc. One thing I did notice is that they've out lasted everyone else that I use get pizza from. For sure come back again. Can you all send me a pri-bake ???

Great local pizza restaurant. Prices are lower than one of the chains here in town and the pizza never disappoints!

This place has Awesome pizza. So far the best we have had in years. It's a must place to eat.
