Delicious, delicious, delicious! Make sure you are super hungry because these are very filling dinner and big portions.

Came here last night to celebrate our anniversary. What a GREAT place! When we made our reservation, Jessica, the general manager, couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Then on the actual night of our celebration, when we got to our table, we were very touched to see "flower petals" and a placard wishing us a Happy Anniversary on the table. Our server, Carvel, was the BEST!! She was sweet, friendly, attentive, you name it! She definitely contributed to making our evening as wonderful as it was. And did I mention the food?? Delicious!! I have to be on a gluten free diet and it was great to have so many yummy choices to choose from. Very glad we chose to celebrate our anniversary at Il Massimo. Definitely would recommend it!

I went here yesterday on a Thursday. The bartender was a very nice guy. The only thing the kitchen got wrong was to put Alfredo sauce and not the other sauce. It was no big deal of course because the bartender was so kind to ring it in again and they took back my pasta to fix it. My pasta tasted so creamy and very delicious. The shrimp tasted so good as well. I also got my water and the extra mushrooms that I wanted for my pasta. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience at your restaurant. Next time I come in I wanna try that Lush Chocolate Martini. That sounds so yummy!

I go here for lunch pretty often. Lots of their dishes are good including the octopus, beef carpaccio, risotto, and tiramisu. I also like their cocktails. They used to serve a good gin spritz and now they have a sparkling sangria.

The only downside is that the service can be spotty. This could be because I am often there about 3:00 pm. My waiter today was very good.

Very nice ambiance/decor. We ordered the eggplant appetizer, seafood pasta, and squid ink pasta with lobster. Each dish was superb ✨Our server was very nice and attentive. Overall a wonderful experience and we will be back!

We love to come here for pasta and celebrations. The atmosphere is dark but enjoyable. Service is consistently great. Try the lobster pasta or the gluten free duck. They even offer gluten free cannoli! We've never had a bad meal or experience and highly recommend. If you're in providence, their sister restaurant is also fantastic.

I couldn't believe how tasty this pork chop dish was! So many flavors for a really robust and unique profile. It was my first time here, but not the last.

I enjoyed a Lunch by myself today and the experience was delightful. The atmosphere is very cozy and elegant. My waiter Peter was very kind and attentive, also makes a great cappuccino! I got a simple Caesar salad with grilled chicken and it was very flavorful, loved my experience. Will come again with friends!

Massimo's is a fine Italian restaurant located in a shopping mall. I realize those two aspects don't usually ever happen but here we have a rare exception. House wine, red, is a very nice Chianti. Pasta prepared perfectly. What more could you ask for? An ambulance, absolutely, with many locals frequenting the place.

I took my family out to dinner for my mother in laws birthday and we had a great time. my server was Kyre and he was very attentive and so thoughtful. He went above and beyond to make sure we not only had a great meal but had a even better experience I personally own several restaurants in the Boston neighborhood and I was impressed with his service and personality. I’ll be back with more family and more friends. I would have showed the food and dessert but it was eaten too fast so cheers to empty played

Adrian was an amazing server! He had a great conversation he knew the menu. He gave us food recommendations and just made Father’s Day extremely enjoyable for me and my family!! Please do yourself a favor go to this restaurant and hopefully you get seated and his section it’ll be worth it!

If you haven't been to Il Massimo for brunch, you're not brunching right. First off let me just say the ambience, and decor are both beautiful. Secondly, I cannot say enough about the Mimosa Bar, and the Brioche french toast. The french toast literally melted in my mouth. Not super heavy. actually surprisingly light, and fluffy. The Mimosa Bar included an assortment of juices (we ordered pineapple, and orange), and a bottle of Prosecco, which was very good, I don't recall the brand. My brunch companion ordered the Crab cakes eggs Benedict & said it was amazing. We also ordered the Fried calamari to share, and it was so scrumptious. Definitely the best calamari I've ever had the pleasure of consuming. 🤗😋 The staff is friendly, and attentive, yet not overbearingly so. Delightful experience all around. I cannot wait to go back for date night.

I went to il Massimo two days in a row, once for lunch and once for dinner. I had the same server both times-Cassandra-and she was an amazing server. She was attentive without being intrusive, described the meals so that I wanted them all and really understood the wine list. The staff at dinner were also amazing. They took care of a slight issue with the rocky table immediately and checked in to see if all was well.
I am so impressed with Cassandra and others that I will be making this my go to restaurant to impress friends or enjoy myself.
Also, the eggplant is far superior than any place Ive ordered it at. It is my absolute favorite dish to eat and I will be going regularly to get my eggplant fix.

My family and I have frequented this restaurant since its opening, and it has never failed us. While we have missed Dorothy, tonight we had the most caring, kind, cautious server, Cassandra — who continues to make this restaurant and experience feel like home. She accommodated all of our dietary restrictions and preferences (which isn’t easy!) — not only making sure to get them right, but continuously asking if there was anything else she could do to make the dish better for us. Truly, our night was made by her expertise and warmth. Looking forward to coming back soon and having Cassandra as a server (or manager?!) again.

Great family style Italian restaurant with beautiful decors and comfortable atmosphere.
Starting from their warm rolls, I enjoyed all the appetizers and the pasta dishes we ordered: burrata, calamari, linguine de Vongole, and burrata ravioli. The way everything was seasoned slightly gave off a chain restaurant vibe, but they still tasted great. I especially enjoyed the linguine frutti di mare which had good amount of seafood and not too overwhelming with the sauce. Only miss were the veggies that came with the calamari: they were too salty & sour and almost borderline inedible. Also really liked how they had a variety of seating options including private booths, outdoor terrace, and standard indoor seatings.

We had an excellent time here from the moment we step in. Greeted by the friendly hosts, our waitress is exceptional! We had the 3 course lunch, good value and the pistachio cannoli is my favorite. They even dressed up my husband’s Tiramisu with birthday wishes. When we leave the everyone said thanks and goodbye. Such a pleasant experience. Can’t wait to go back when their patio opens.

After a long winter, it was so nice to be able to enjoy dinner outdoors. The outdoor seating at Il Massimo was quaint, with pillows on the benches. I had the short ribs with gnocchi it was delicious and my husband had the lasagna, super cheesy. Our server Dorothy was great, attentive and friendly. Thank you!👍

The service was AMAZING!!! Ryan and Adrian were our servers and they were constantly making sure our needs were met as we were on a time crunch. The communication was great! There were zero issues with our order or food. We definitely will be back as they met our team dinner of 15 with ease. THANK YOU so much for making this a GREAT experience!

Fantastic dinner with friends at IL MASSIMO restaurant. I fell inlove with the ambiance, attentive staff and delicious food. They have complimentary cheese bread and gluten free dinner rolls. My server was Olivia and she took great care of us. 😍
