Minerva Indian Cuisine

We had the buffet here at Minervas. Very satisfied with the service as well as the food. The staff were courteous and friendly. The food was very good and they had wonderful vegetarian and vegan options on the menu as well as available at the buffet.

For a buffet I usually think the quality will be lower, and then you make it up through quantity... however this wasn't the case. The food was very good so I wanted a lot of it!

Pictured below was the Gobi Manchurian and plain rice... very good!

Lunch buffet was amazing and a very good deal. Everything was fresh, flavorful and well seasoned.
Mango lassi was sweet and creamy, perfect to cut down the spices, and apparently so good for your health!

My family and I had a great time celebrating my sister’s 17th birthday. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. The food was also delicious. I was unsure of what to order and the owner recommended the ginger chicken. He was certainly right. It was delicious and I am glad he recommended it to me. The mango lassi was delicious as well. Overall, a great time with my family and I will be sure to recommend Minerva to anyone looking for great authentic Indian food!

After a long and rainy day where things didn't quite go as planned, my husband and I needed to kill some time and decided to grab a bite to eat. Since we weren't familiar with the Norwood area, we were uncertain about where to go. Eventually, we stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. I have to say, Pracard, the supervisor/owner, was amazing. He was incredibly friendly and made sure we received excellent service. He took the time to explain the ingredients of the dishes we were interested in, helping us make our final decision. Each bite was packed with incredible flavor and left us impressed. I have to mention their mango lassi, which is an absolute must-try. We loved it so much that we bought a whole gallon to take home with us. Trust me, it won't last long once my 13-year-old tastes it because he's a huge fan of mango lassi. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for a fantastic Indian cuisine experience. You won't be disappointed, just like we weren't.

We wanted to find a good vegan restaurant, and so happy we went here. Food was absolutely excellent with many options. The service was also delightful, and we got “checked on” multiple times to ensure we had a good experience. We’re also informed how to mix certain foods, to make it how “they would” eat it in India, which I really love. Makes the experience more authentic. Hands down one of the better Indian food restaurants I’ve been to.

My husband Kai and I absolutely love dining at this place! Every time we visit, we're greeted with a burst of flavor that keeps us coming back for more. The food is consistently delicious and packed with vibrant flavors that truly make each bite a delight. The staff members are fantastic, always friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall enjoyable experience. We especially appreciate the variety of plant-based options available, catering perfectly to our dietary preferences. We can't recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a flavorful and satisfying dining experience!

So delicious, so many options. There are several vegan options which is so appreciated and so delicious. It's also awesome because my SO and I have opposite diets and we can both find amazing food that we're both happy with. It's now our go-to place to eat.

The owner and staff are so nice and attentive and take so much pride in the food and service they offer. I can't recommend them enough!

I highly recommend trying the lunch buffet! We went on a Sunday and we enjoyed such a wide selection of delicious food. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. They also suggested that I try the smoothie, mango lassi, and it did not disappoint. Ever since post pandemic, buffets this great are hard to come by, however I’m so glad I have found this gem of a place.

After returning to this restaurant several times and eating different things on the buffet and experiencing the hospitality, I gave it 5 stars. Great for lunch and dinner. I have gone by myself and with company and have always had a positive experience. The food is delicious and authentic tasting. The service is excellent and the prices are competitive. If you are in the Norwood area, stop by and see and taste for yourself.

Had an excellent first experience at Minerva! The food was super flavorful and came to the table sizzling. We were incredibly well attended to as the staff and owner/manager checked in with us regularly to make sure we had a great experience. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back.

Dined at Minerva in Norwood, Ma, one of our most favorite Indian restaurants, today. The food quality was excellent. We ordered fish fry, mango Lassi, mysore masala dosa and 70mm paper masala dosa. We have been coming here since 2003 and the quality of food has remained as excellent as ever. Their buffet and catering is also just as amazing! The owner was at the restaurant meeting and greeting customers himself. He was very pleasant to meet with and gave us great food recommendations. I am glad we had such a nice dinner experience at this place.

The choices of dishes vast, the food and service very good. Totally surprised by the view of a golf course at the back of the restaurant where deer and geese were grazing. We had lovely vegetable samosas, delicious orders of lamb curry, and another lamb dish in a cashew sauce,nicely prepared okra and eggplant dishes. The naan was sooo very, very good! This will definitely be our Indian restaurant of choice from now on, and look forward to trying their weekday buffet. This was such a sweet surprise for us! Thank you Minerva!

I love Indian food, but I but I can't handle much heat and like to order my Indian "mild," and Minerva really made my food as mild as I wanted! The food was so flavorful but minus the heat, which I really appreciated. Also it was a good value. I had ordered two dinners (so I'd have leftovers) and ended up with rice and Naan left over too. I made 3 meals out it!

I enjoyed my lunch buffet very much. It’s nice that a buffet is offered! Definitely stop in if you want something different for lunch.

We had an awesome time tonight. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with awesome customer service and hospitality. We walked in relatively later so we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Every single person working there was helping us with all our needs and requests at all times. Aside from the 10/10 hospitality the last thing to note was the spectacular food. My family and I love Indian food however this had to be some of the best from flavor to spice to freshness, all was superb. Definitely more trips to come for our family and would totally recommend for all to try it.

Tried the buffet at Minerva for the first on a Sunday afternoon. Loved the welcoming atmosphere and the fact that everything was very well organized and clean. The food was freshly prepared and really tasty. It was a good spread with a lot of vegetarian options as well. Will definitely visit again!

Drove almost two hours round trip for their lunch buffet and it was worth every minute of the drive. The best Indian food I think I’ve ever had and they had a great selection of vegetarian options as well as omnivore. Everything I tried was authentic and packed with so much flavor. And the host was so genuinely kind. Overall a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to go back.

We went here for a buffet on a weekend! They had so much variety of food and everything was well prepared. They are very warm and welcoming. I especially liked their customer service, my has but allergy and we wanted to know which items are safe for her to eat. The chef personally came to the buffet and explained the ingredients. The buffet cost matches the quality of food and variety of items. The cost on a weekday might be more affordable.

We have visited twice now and the food is excellent!
1. Mango lassi - they have one of the best versions in MA. Their yogurt is homemade and super creamy.
2. Non-veg Thali - the variety on the plate is great and I loved the lamb curry. Kheer was delicious.
3. Ginger chicken - i highly recommend you get this dish if you generally enjoy butter chicken.
4. Garlic naan - soft and super garlicky.
5. Uttapam - it's fairly large and good topping to batter ratio.
6. Chilli chicken - a bit spicy but packed with flavor.

The restaurant is family run and we always get recommendations for new dishes to try! They have been in business for 16 yrs and the food is absolutely delicious.

I’m 2 for 2 here now, quickly has become my preferred Indian place. Yummy chicken tikka masala - not oily or greasy at all. The masala dosas are choice as well. I even especially like their onion chutney. The owners are lovely people that work hard and run a great business, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to support after you taste the food and meet them.
