I’m a huge fan of places like these. To the uptight snob who claimed the place isn’t “modern” enough, seriously get over yourself. That’s the entire charm.

American Chinese staples (which honestly are more American than hamburgers at this point) served in a chill and kitschy but clean atmosphere. I actually really like the vibe.

The food is the expected mix of sweet/spicy/sour that you’d expect - but thankfully not over-fried or all vegetable filler.

I came for a quiet lunch but defintely would be great for a family dinner. This is really the kind of east coast Chinese restaurant I miss living out West. We’ve got nothing like it and it’s a shame.

The food was flavorful and the service was quick and friendly. Total recommend.

I loved how fresh the food tasted! The orange chicken and cream rangoons were our favorite. The staff was very nice and even fixed something for me. A very clean place and restrooms. Kids friendly but elegant too. We definitely recommend!

I was so glad to find this place open on a Sunday night near my hotel. I'm just here for a couple nights for work and I was starving this really fit the bill.

I ordered the orange chicken and I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were chicken strips and not just chunks. They were perfectly cooked with just a little crispyness and the orange sauce was good but could probably use a little more orange zest as it was a faint orange taste.

I also had the crispy spring rolls which were very large and delicious. The other app I had was the boiled wonton with hot sauce (which was chili oil over the top). That came in a bowl on a bed of sprouts. Very tasty!

Paired with the Mark West Pinot Noir and it was a perfect meal.

The service was great, attentive and very fast. I might have to go back again tomorrow night. 👍😊

Wonderful experience, the food is good and the drinks are great! Well worth the money for price on the drinks... Everyone was friendly yet professional, quiet and cozy space to dine.

I ordered chicken wings, beef fried rice and spring rolls. The food was delicious!!! Now I go every Saturday night. Friendly people work here.

Want to step back in time? Then this is the place! As soon as i stepped in, I was transported to the 1950s. I love the atmosphere at this place. It's unique. I particularly love the music that they were playing. The food was good and reasonably priced. Their Tiki drinks are not the best I've had but they r strong so I can't complain.

Arrived at this restaurant not expecting much however I was greeted politely and promptly seated with my family of 5 persons. Winston was an amazing waiter who was patient and very helpful. I got the Peking ravioli (fried) to start followed by house lo mein. My appetizer was on time, hot out the pan and scrumptious. The house lo mein was amazing, the portions of meat were balanced and cooked to perfection. Noodles were not soggy and just the way I liked them. Definitely worth the visit and affordable. Would recommend trying them out and we will be back for more.

Without a doubt, this stands as the best food I have had in Boston so far. From the moment I entered, the interior of the restaurant stood out to me, it looks very classic and cute, and the atmosphere was very calm and the service exceeded our expectations.
I was there with my family. My little brother, who’s a very, very picky eater said this food is 100% better than McDonalds, he never likes food this much so I think this is a testimony to how good the food was.
Every dish we had was nothing short of perfection. My personal favorite was the Crispy Orange Flavored Chicken, which had the perfect balance of sweetness and spice.(I asked for it to be slightly spicier than it was supposed to be and they delivered.) However, not only was the food exceptional, but so was the service provided by our server, Winston.

Beautiful decoration inside the restaurant. A dish of pu pu platter for 2 looks warm, joyful, and mouth watering. It has a metal pot placed in the center of the dish gives out blue flames continuously. It's unusual to see fried shrimps included, no crab rangoons served. Spring rolls replace egg rolls. Price is right.

Quite even when there’s a good amount of guests. The service was amazing and the food took 10 mins, maybe less and came out hot and fresh. My husband ordered honey chicken and lo mein which he raved about. He said that was the best chicken he’s ever ordered. I got the orange crispy chicken and white rice which was by far the best I had ever had. The chicken is thin cuts not cubes like most restaurants. We ordered drinks, and they were amazing. I had something with “berry” in the name. The food was decently priced. The colors and art on the wall is fun. If I lived closer, I’d be here often. Highly recommend.

Great for a 40 person function. Good was good and served family style to each table. The last Susan in the middle of the table makes it easy to share!

Quick trip to the New England Aquarium and a room at the Homewood Suites by Hiltonin Needham Mass. nothing to eat. Googled nearest places to eat and Found that this place (Mandarin Cuisine). The exterior was really not appealing. However, the inside was classic. Winston our server was extremely polite and attentive and dammnnn. The appetizers came, and they were delicious. The fried wings were crispy done well and soooo good. The scallion pancake was crispy hottt excellent. Our 8 year old a vey picky eater said it was better than McDonald’s. 100%. The bbq pork spare ribs was awesome. Not too sweet and not over sauced hot to the touch. The crispy orange chicken was so so good. The shrimp fried rice just right. I had the sizzling seafood platter and I’m telling you, perfection. The vegetables spot on, the seafood and the sauce with the vegetables was amazing. I could go on. Worth every bite and every penny. Stuffed.

November 2023:
their luncheon conbo plates are $15 after tax. and they are too small for that price. very disappointing. they used to be 2x as much food. i don't understand why they do this. don't bother ordering their lunch combos. just order dinner items.

Everything was absolutely delicious and amazing.
Portion sizes, HUGH, from appetizers to entree’s and inexpensive.

Kind service, clean dining area and bathrooms. To my surprise, the general gau Chicken was all white meat chicken breast. High quality, and massive portions at a pretty decent price. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Staying at a nearby hotel made this a convenient option. I was pleased with the number of options on the menu. I went with the Lamb w/Onions and Scallions. Delicious! Prices were good and portions were large. Staff was very friendly and service was prompt.
