A nice spot to stop in for a beer and a lobster roll. They also do to-go orders which is really convenient. Lobster rolls are stacked and come with chips but you can get fries or tots as well.

Being from a very touristy county in Florida…I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality, portion size, price and the professionalism I experienced at the Dog and Pony. The bartender in the gazebo was the best. She handled (with finesse and compassion) an intoxicated person trying to drink more, by offering her a water and complimenting her outfit. Worked perfectly. PS: I still think the gazebo is a yurt.

Was recommended this place by the staff at Kimball Terrace and it didn't disappoint. My wife absolutely loved the lobster roll and although my daughter didn't like the mac and cheese my wife thought it was great and boxed it up for later.

I had the double burger and although it was very juicy and soaked the bottom bun because the 2 patties, it was very enjoyable.

The music was great as well and the wait staff was extremely courteous and attentive. Def would recommend this place if you're in the area.

This place made me happy! After so many area restaurants didn’t have the lobster roll I’m glad I found it here and it was delicious. You can’t go wrong with anything from the menu. Tots are perfectly cooked and seasoned. Clam chowder was delicious. The chicken sandwich was amazingly juicy and perfectly cooked. The steak and cheese sub was so delicately cheesy! Recommend this place. And the cherry on top was Lynn. Wonderful service and hospitality. Very friendly and attentive.

Hubby and I wanted some fish. Decided to go here. Was an excellent choice! I had the haddock fish sandwich and him the fish and chips. The food was amazing! Our waiter, who I sadly forget his name, was so nice and amazing! The atmosphere was fun! Would definitely go back.

A unique bar and restaurant with affordable lobster rolls that are just as fresh as anywhere else around. I really enjoyed their spacious back patio with a gazebo bar attached. A very Maine setting and great place for lunch. They also serve food later than most other places in Bar Harbor (until 11pm). We had the lobster roll for lunch with a perfectly made Bloody Mary, fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but still good. Definitely a must visit while you’re in town. A lot of the locals come here too.

After 9pm, only 21 and older can enter to sit down and have food. Super friendly staff and the food came out quickly. The Dog & Pony Tavern is a nice place to stop in if you need a late night dinner option at a good price. Lobster Mac & Cheese is overpriced but delicious!

Great service from very friendly relaxed staff and setting. Sat outside and had a fabulous po boy. My sis had a caprese salad. Suggested by a local. Highly recommend!! You won’t be disappointed. Great value and quality.

Clean inside and out. Great atmosphere. Our waitress was great, fast service.Food was hot and delicious. I had fish and chips and my son had pulled pork sandwich. Awesome food. Did i mention the food and service was great. Time from ordering to food on the table was around 10 minutes.

A hidden gem! This bar restaurant is so cool. Set back from Main Street, there’s a bar in the trees, like the tree house you had as a kid but there’s a bar in it! Plenty of room, paid parking right here. Good menu with pub food. Outside seating, inside seating and a large deck.

Dog and Pony Tavern is our go to place for great food. We love to see our favorite football team play on Sunday too. Friendly staff and very clean. Judy served us with the best wings and haddock sandwich. She was great. We come back every year to our favorite tavern!!!

Can't shower enough praise on this hidden gem in the village of Bar Harbor! Open late and year round, this cutely named establishment had speedy service, delicious appetizers and entrees and the service was some of the friendliest and most attentive we have ever experienced. Add restaurant to your Google classification so you appear in food search results! Can't wait to return.

We came late night and the service was still good. Food came out fast for a family of 5. Steak and cheese sandwich was really good and the lobster roll was fresh.

They’ve seated us immediately and service was extremely nice and fast. Menu was already on the table with daily specials. Food was delicious, but I personally didn’t like the prawns, but my friends did. Prices were adequate.

Great late night spot. We arrived late in the evening. It was the only place open in the area, and after a 3 hour drive we were appreciative of the great service, drinks and an appetizer. We will definitely be back!

Drinks were amazing! Food was great. They were playing some good music as well. Our waitress, Lynn, was so kind to us and always made sure we were good with our drinks and food. We are very pleased with our lunch here, would definitely recommend. Thank you Dog & Pony

Love this place! My boyfriend is a Carpenter and he's working in Maine so I made a little impromptu trip up there, but everything in Bar Harbor is closed because it's the off season, except for Dog & Pony! Not only was the food great but the bartender was awesome! He was friendly he gave us good tips on what food he liked best there and what we might like, and they were open late! I can't wait to go back up to Maine and visit the Dog &Pony again!
