Stopped here after a long day in Acadia and it was perfect, my favorite meal of my trip. I ordered the rolls as an appetizer, which were amazing, and came with a delicious strawberry honey butter. I ordered the macadamia nut crusted halibut, which was super good with their lobster cream sauce. Would definitely go back for that alone. I also got their apple cider/ginger beer moctail, which was light and refreshing. Finished off the night with apple crisp, nice and hearty and healthy. Our server was very sweet, and the atmosphere here is very cozy!

Loved our experience -- absolutely perfect!
First of all, sit at the bar -- full service. And cross your fingers Mikey is your bartender/server! 🤞 he's amazing and gives great recommendations! I had a Maine blueberry mojito and a Maine-iac cider. Highly recommend both! 👌 the blueberry mojito used real Maine blueberries, which are mini to any other blueberries I've had but pack a million times more flavor.
My husband and I tried oysters for the first time because...well...when in Maine 🤷♀. They were wonderful...the horseradish was legit and the red-wine-vinegar and shallot mignonette was the absolute best flavor compliment I've actually ever tasted.
We also had fried haddock and mussles to go with our oysters and they were both awesome. I have zero regrets about spooning out all the garlic pieces from the mussel's butter sauce because it was so good. The haddock pieces were the perfect consistency -- each piece of fish flaked apart, not over cooked or soggy. This was, hands down, 5+!!!
Make reservations if possible but please don't be dissuaded if not -- try to get a seat at the bar! It's worth a try!!!!

Food ..on point! Service was wonderful! Val was lovely and provided us with a memorable experience for our first trip to Maine. Stayed for Happy Hour which included both high and low tide! If weather permits, dine outside and the pier for Happy Hour! Cheese tray and lobster were da bomb! Red wines did not disappoint.

This place is an excellent spot if you’re looking to escape the touristy downtown area of Bar Harbor. It is located right on the water so the views are amazing as there is outdoor seating. My mom and I were served by Missy who was very friendly and personable which made the experience 10x better!!! The food came out relatively fast and it all tasted good especially the blueberry pie for dessert and I usually don’t favor blueberry pie😳🥧🫐 I would definitely come back as I was pleased within all aspects!!!

If you're looking to get away from the bustle of bar harbor this is the perfect place. Right on the water! Easy and free parking we waited no time at all to be seated. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. The presentation was beautiful. One of the best steaks I've ever had. We had a fog so we did not get to see much of the water but our dining experience was so wonderful that we didn't mind at all.
At at about 7:45 on a Thursday.

The Chart Room was wonderful! The views were beautiful- right on the water. We stopped in for lunch, craving a lobster roll. Our expectations were definitely met! The bun was toasted to perfection and the lobster was yummy. Fries on the side made the perfect combination. Lunch was busy (always a good sign) and it was quick. Lovely experience!

Been here 2x in the past 2 years from CT.. good service, good food, reasonable prices which is tough to find sometimes in the area. I had the fish tacos which have an aioli and come with mango salsa and really tasty fries. 👍 Outside seating overlooks the water when it isn't suuuper low tide 😄

The chart room restaurant was amazing place to dine-in because we had an amazing waitress named Val and she recommended us all these meals. She was very kind and sweet to us, and she also recommended us were to go during our vacation time while we are at Maine. The atmosphere was amazing. The ambience was very nice. I am definitely looking forward to come back again specially, to that restaurant.

We stayed on MDI for the last week and at the end of the trip everyone rated the dinner they had at the Chart Room as the best meal they’d eaten all week. The four of us ordered the baked stuffed haddock, Macadamia nut crusted halibut, cioppino, and the seafood platter. All delicious! There was a fun cocktail menu as well. Service was fast and friendly and it was also nice to eat somewhere outside of the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. Will definitely come again next time!

Delicious food, great ambience and attentive servers. We had been here for dinner. We ordered french onion soup and bang bang shrimp as appetizers. The soup was amazing, very favorful. The shrimp was a little sweet. We then had blackened Atlantic salmon ( one of their specials) with a side of french fries and sea food medley with boiled potato on the side. Both the entrees were absolutely delicious. The potato had no seasoning to it so they can improve on that. We finished off with a blue berry pie which was perfect! Great experience.

This was an awesome place to go. Despite some recent negative reviews we made a reservation and went in. I can only assume that some of the negativity was due to some over zealous dishes. If you stick to the basics here, scampi, lobster, etc. you’ll have a great experience. This is a higher class restaurant that is not overly pretentious. We had a great view of the water and some good drinks with fast service.

Had a very nice dinner here. The prices were fair and the portions were very good. We started with delicious french onion soup and clam chowder! The lobster dinner was a great price and it came with a side. The baked lobster was amazing and completely prepared with no shell! Can’t wait to eat here again!!

This restaurant is close to where I am staying and that is very fortunate for me. It was packed when I came in. Definitely a good sign. I was solo and able to snag a seat at the bar before long. Mikey was seriously the best bartender / server I have seen in a long time. He didn’t miss a beat with drinks and food at the bar, carry out, and filling servers’ orders. My food came out quickly and it was delicious. I would love to come back to enjoy the view during the day and to try any of the items on their tempting dessert menu.

Classic old-school steak and seafood house. I had grilled scallops which were some of the best I've ever had. My husband was very happy with his steak. Very friendly service, and nice waterfront view.

This is our first visit here. The food so tasty and served warm.
The serice is quick and they jas wide variety of menu items. We ordered from regular menu, chiken tenders, fried shrimp, chicken ceaser salad and chicken Pasta along with some house bread roles.
They have very good variety of micktails and nice bar setup.
The location is awesome and you have to reserve table in advance if you want to sit outside watcing the water front. If it is lowtide, you can walk along water line.

Amazing place for food and family. We had an incredible evening ordering food and catching crabs while we waited. Very kid and family friendly. Service was extremely fast. Enjoyed everything! Lobster carbonara is highly recommended!

We ate our first meal on a visit to Bar Harbor at The Chart Room and it was incredible - we enjoyed the Lobster Stew as well as Halibut dishes. The service was excellent, and other patrons were kind. Highly recommend to anyone visiting who wants a delicious meal that is also very reasonably priced for what you get!
