Hadleys Point was the perfect campground for exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor! The check in process was extremely smooth and there’s tons of staff on site to help you if needed. There’s a beach about .4 miles down the road with BEAUTIFUL sunsets (but extremely buggy) the tent sites are close together but everyone is respectful of noise and it was very calm and quiet. I felt extremely safe and welcomed here. The showers were cold but everything was still very clean! The little store on site was convenient as well. Can’t recommend them enough!

We were looking for a last minute camp site to stay at and the people we spoke to were amazing. We did everything over the phone and online and our reservation was secured in minutes.
This location is great. It's about a 15 min drive from Acadia National Park and there's some great little food places around.
The campsite they held for us had some privacy due to the trees that separated the different tent camp sites. The bathrooms and showers were super clean and easily accessible.

We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Great value and location!

My wife and I stayed at Hadley's while exploring Acadia National Park. The campground was very clean and well taken care of. Acadia is a short 8 minute drive. The shower and washroom facilities are very nice and the staff were wonderful and helpful our entire stay. The beach at the end of the road is stunning! We will be back!

Really enjoyed this campground, just got done staying 5 nights here. Convient location on north side, not far from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Very friendly and accommodating staff. New bathroom facilities. Highly recommend.

This campground is well planned and the owners thought of every detail from it's location, the flow of traffic in and around the campground to escort you to your site upon arrival and the ease of online reservations, payment and confirmation. The staff is responsive and wants to be helpful. The campground is clean; the sites, the bathrooms, shower rooms, laundry facilities and camp store. We will definitely go back - In fact we've already booked!

I have seen my share of campgrounds in all my years of camping, but Hadley’s point campground is on a category of its own, we were greeted as soon as we drove in the grounds by a friendly person he helped us check in, and explain to us the rules of the campground, and also told us that the Lobster place across the road had a exclusive deal for people staying at the campground.

This campground is clean, kept up, monitored. They take pride in your comfort. The showers are newly renovated and very nice.

This is a family friendly campground, the campground is very quiet at night, and everybody is respectful.

I recommend to anybody that is a camping enthusiast to go to this campground very short, drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia national park. It’s literally in the middle of it all.

We just spent a long weekend here with our family so we could hike Acadia. It was a great experience. We booked two sites next to each other and brought our RV and used the other site for the tents. The staff was super friendly and helpful, campground was family friendly, showers and bathrooms were brand new, clean, and gorgeous. Everyone was friendly who was walking around. The entrance for Acadia welcome center is right down the street, bar harbor nearby, we will definitely be back!

Great campground to stay at while visiting Acadia. We missed out on a site in Acadia but luckily book this campground as a back up. Camper sites are a little bit tight but not a huge deal. Campground staff is very friendly. The one evening worker will keep you honest with the rules of the pool but is very nice about it. Campground and facilities are nice, clean and updated. Nicest bathroom/shower/laundry facility I have seen. Pool is great for the kids after hiking in Acadia. 12 feet deep with a diving board. Didn’t ride the free bus into the park. But it came through often so seemed like a good deal. Other bonuses the beach at the end of the road going to the campground has great sunsets. Also keep a look out for a guy that comes through in the evenings in a black car ringing a bell with fresh baked pies for sale. 20 dollars and they are awesome. As far as the electric vehicle charge they implemented. Can you blame them??? EVs add an extra hazard and cost for them when being charged. They charged at a constant high current so it’s not the same as plugging in your camper that uses very little power. I was very happy to see them implement the extra charge. I don’t expect them to pay for my gas why should they pay for your electricity to charge your car??? Overall highly recommend this campground.

This campground is very well managed, I am so impressed! Ideal location for exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor, clean grounds, pet friendly and all the staff were so friendly. A tree fell at another site during a storm and they had it cleaned up in less than an hour, and it was a big tree! We will definitely be back!

We are staying here for about a week. So far everything has been great! We enjoy the LLBean bus service that comes in and takes us to the visitors center in Acadia and then Bar Harbor. Makes it super easy for my sons and us to get around with our dog! The campgrounds are clean and well cared for. Would definitely want to stay here again when we come back to Maine!

Spots for RVs are close together. Pool was nice. But no toys including pool noodles are allowed in pool. Very clean and well maintained. Sand beach very close. Would stay there again.

I like this camp site so much. It’s close main road and restaurants. The roads inside the camp flat. They guided me through. The owner even helped me to park my rig. They were super friendly.

Newly updated campground that is well organized. Has a free shuttle to Acadia park. I would stay again. Sites are fairly close to other campers but not uncomfortably so

Loved our stay in a cabin. Having a bathroom in the cabin was wonderful! Thank you for having an affordable option for families who don't have a camper or tent. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic time camping at Hadleys Point! Stayed during Memorial day weekend and could not recommend this place more. Brand new shower house and they were spotless. Campsite was cute and had plenty of room for the truck and tent. Will definitely be back!!

Had a great stay. The owners have and are really updating and upgrading their campground. Our site was nice sized for our 40ft Class A and JEEP. Easy in, Easy out.
We would definitely return and recommend Hadley’s Point.
Thank you

Our family of four stayed here for 7 nights and it was fantastic. The staff was super friendly and looked out for the campers. The campground is clean and well maintained. We used the laundry on site (2 dryers were down, but that happens), the pool, the playground and corn horn. The campers respected the quiet hours in place and I always love watching the children play together.

They are midway between Bar Harbor and Ellsworth (which is convenient for any sort of needs) and super close to an entrance for Acadia. The Islander public bus runs all day long and goes to several different locations. Shower and bath houses are located in several different spots throughout the campground.

We had FH pull through in the S section of the campground and it was fine. Our only compliant would be that the sites were tight and the neighbors sewer is in your outdoor living space, but there isn’t much to be done about that other than just deal and so we did.

Again, a great family campground! Hadley’s point is within walking distant from the campground (though I’d recommend driving due to a steep hill) where you can catch beautiful sunsets, hop in the water or have a fire on the beach as you watch the sunset 💙

This was our third stay at Hadley's Point, and it did not disappoint. The campground was lovely, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our kids enjoyed riding their bikes and swimming in the pool. The park is only about 15 minutes to Bar Harbor and even less to Acadia NP. If you go, make sure you check out Udder Heaven (Ice cream) down the road about a mile. Another really nice feature is the Island Explorer bus system, which stops regularly at the park. Using the system, you can get to most areas of Mount Desert Island and Acadia, without having to take your car. Definitely a huge plus. Thanks for a great week, we'll be back!
