I was very impressed with our stay at the Best western inn, Bar Harbor. My boyfriend and I stayed this past October for 2 nights (I know i’m a little late on posting), Our room was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfy! Quiet at night and peaceful in the mornings… the only thing I had an issue with about our stay was the fact that breakfast didn’t have many options… and what they did have didn’t taste so great 😞

The front desk staff was very friendly throughout our stay and accommodating when I asked for a few extra towels!
Overall we thought the vibe was really cozy and relaxing, we plan on visiting again next year! 🌲✈

Wow! It may look like a quaint roadside inn from the outside, but it is anything but that on the inside! The lobby was inviting and relaxing after our long drive. Peggy Sue, who checked us in was very sweet and welcoming. We decided at check in that we wanted to book a second night’s stay, and Peggy Sue arranged it so we would be able to stay in the same room both nights. We found our room to be very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. I honestly slept better than I usually do in my own bed!

The breakfast area had ample seating and was very clean and well organized. There were many choices of breakfast items- more than I’ve ever seen!

Mary, who checked us out was very personable and a great help showing us route options for the remainder of our road trip. We also had the pleasure of meeting the lovely manager, Jane, who obviously enjoys what she does and takes great care in ensuring her guests enjoy the best experience possible during their stay. We were thoroughly impressed! We will highly recommend Best Western Acadia Park Inn to anyone who’s looking for accommodations in the Bar Harbor area!

Great place to stay just outside of Bar Harbor. All first floor rooms with easy unloading/ loading luggage from our car. The room was SUPER clean and spacious. Vashawn at the desk was very friendly and informative. He let us check in early! Breakfast was organized, well stocked and hot foods were hot. Great atmosphere and value for the price.

This place is amazing! Stayed 3 nights & I can’t say enough good things. Mary & Jane at the front desk are so nice & helpful. The breakfast is huge & offers a lot of choices in its own nice building. The pool is nice & was fun to sit around. The rooms are very clean (and I look for dirt) with easy parking & close to all the Bar Harbor action. The property is very well kept with gorgeous flowers too!

This hotel fit the bill for our needs perfectly. As other reviews said - don't be put off by the motel style rooms, they're well appointed, very clean, and pet friendly! Pet fee was $30. Even in the room we were in you would never know there had been animals there prior to our stay. The pet relief area at the back of the property is cute and includes a waste station with bags. Breakfast was good, although on the day of our departure (one night stay) there were some strange options including maple kielbasa and baked beans, but was otherwise a very nice breakfast.
Bed was comfy cozy, and the air conditioner worked like a charm, with a true constant fan so it wasn't clicking on and off all night. Slept like a rock and never heard our neighbors - didn't even know they were there (with 3 kids) until the morning when I walked outside. Great stay, 100% recommend and for the price I don't think you'll find a better stay in Bar Harbor.

The best part of the hotel was the staff, they were extremely helpful and welcoming. After a long and somewhat stressful drive in it was great to see a welcoming face when we got here. Don't be put off by the motel style rooms, I was skeptical but it actually works really well and I felt like it offers a little bit more privacy and quiet. The pool area was nice and well maintained, they have a small playground area and a fire pit. The breakfast was fantastic and this is probably the only hotel I've ever stayed at where they had more than adequate seating in the breakfast area even during the busy times. Breakfast also goes long enough that you can go see the sunrise on Cadillac mountain and still make it back in time for breakfast. Well located and easy access to the park and Bar Harbor without having to deal with the traffic and constant chaos if Bar Harbor.

Stayed here two nights. It’s about 10-12 mins away from bar harbor and Acadia. The reins are clean and breakfast is standard. However it’s kind of like a motel and not like other best westerns. Just a heads up and a a little bit on the costlier side considering the same. All in all a good experience.

Nice staff. Clean rooms. Included breakfast, but they should make the wafles themselves. Some people don’t know how to use the machines….

Very friendly and accommodating at the front desk. They have tea and hot chocolate with fresh cookies in the lobby. A really nice touch. Breakfest was really good. Plenty of choices.
Rooms are very clean and we lucked out with a spacious room. Very nice grounds and very close to Acadia National Park.
Thank you Mary!

A big round applause to their breakfast service! Nice selection of food for a continental breakfast. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and sweet. One of them taught me how to use the waffle machine. Another staff greeted good morning when we entered the cafeteria and brought my daughter crayons and doodle books.
The front desk even has a computer and a printer for customers! It saved my life/time literally.
We also enjoyed our room. My daughter loved the soft mattress and hoped she could sleep on that every day. I was very satisfied with the speed of water turning from cold to hot, which was as fast as I can imagine.
There are several framed photos hanging on the wall and they all look very classy.
I have to say the room is admittedly small but well organized to its best use.
The location is golden too! You can easily drive to downtown bar harbor in 15 mins (to enjoy your ice cream), or come back (after a 3-hour cruise) for a quick afternoon nap.
Some suggestions: I hope they can provide two trash bins outside the hotel room, one for recycle and non-recycle. I also want to see each allergen being labeled out for the breakfast service.

Ericka, the breakfast host is possibly the nicest person you’ll ever meet and she will help make your day start out great! The rooms are good sized, the bathrooms are clean and look newly renovated. Beds are good too! Laundry was helpful and the pool was great. Will happily stay here again!

The experience at this Best Western exceeded our expectations. We do not typically stay at motel-style lodgings, but this was great! We arrived in the evening and received a friendly welcome from Peggy Sue. The rooms were up-to-date, spacious and well cared for. The breakfast offering was also beyond the standard "continental breakfast" offerings. This included eggs, sausage, waffles, hot oatmeal, fresh yogurt, etc. The breakfast area well laid out and spacious - not crammed onto one counter.

The staff went above & beyond! They even left us an anniversary card with well wishes, along with a bottle of sparkling cider. The rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was great. The pool was refreshing. The location is perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better first visit to Bar Harbor!

This was a great place to stay for our adventures in Acadia National Park. The room was large, clean, and comfy! The breakfast is terrific but the free cookies were divine! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Peggy Sue at the front desk was instrumental in helping us to find the best lobster rolls in Bar Harbor.

Best Western Acadia was perfect for our family trip. The rooms were clean, service was friendly from everyone, and it’s a great location. The pool, little playground, seating areas all around, laundry room, and breakfast every morning were wonderful. If we visit Maine again, we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Hotel and room is spotless and pristine. Decorated in a light and trendy style. Room is large and has a large bathroom and walk in closet. Man at front desk is very friendly and helpful. There's a nice outdoor pool. Breakfast is free and great, but can get very crowded. There is a free shuttle that takes you all over. The official closest shuttle stop is at the campground across the street, which is a little precarious because it is a main street and there is no crosswalk. So, you can stand at the end of the driveway for the hotel and wave the shuttle drivers down and they will stop and pick you up.

I would definitely go back to stay here whenever I get the chance to visit Bar Harbor Maine. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The amenities were really clean and spacious. The room has all the standard features of a small fridge, iron, hair dryer, ample amount of towels, coffee maker. The breakfast the best. They have all sorts of assortments of food and beverages. You can fill yourself up before heading up to your adventure to Acadia National Park which was about 20 minutes drive from the hotel.

Our group went there in July 30 and Checked out August 1st. The check in and check out process was a breeze. Since we were a big group we ended up occupying the whole block of rooms right in front of the hotel. The staff were very accommodating to request to use the outside tables and chairs for us to eat dinner on our first night.

I highly recommend this place. 👌
