2 Cats Bar Harbor

Easily one of the best breakfast spots in Bar Harbor! The staff were so welcoming and sweet, and the food was delicious. We tried the breakfast sandwich on a kaiser roll and the smoked trout omelette. Both dishes were really flavorful and cooked well. I also got the Milky Way latte (chocolate and caramel) and it was perfectly balanced - not too sweet!

If you try one breakfast place in Bar Harbor - 2 Cats is the place to go!

Even though the reviews said the service was not great we had a good experience, we were served quickly and the waitress was very nice. The food was so good!! Ordered fresh orange juice and lobster omelet. Man was it good!!! They also give you a lot of food and their biscuit with strawberry butter was so delicious!! Definitely stop here for breakfast.

Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. On a very busy day the wait was not too long, and very much worth the time. The lobster eggs Benedict was delicious with a huge serving of hot fries and fresh fruit. The Catspaw pastry was tasty as well.

Good breakfast, cute place. Many of their breakfast dishes come on biscuits or served with biscuits. Our table didn’t love them. They seemed really dry and like they had been left out. BUT everything else was very tasty. Service was great. We tried a “Catspaw” to go and would order this if I return. It’s like a cinnamon sugar muffin and it was delicious.

We had a quick stop at this place before our kayaking tour. We ordered biscuit bacon egg cheese. It was amazing! We ate it right before our tour and the smell got everyone crazy! Then I heard they are famous for their biscuit, which was truly amazing! 💯 recommended!

Food was amazing. Big portions. I had tofu scramble and my husband had blueberry pancakes. We loved everything. For being super busy the staff did a great job!

mugsWe had breakfast on 12/31/23. My wife and I expected something speciaL, and that's what we got. The server, Robyn, was gracious and attentive, refilling our coffee mugs twice without being asked. I had an omelet with mushrooms, Boursin and chives, a combination I strongly recommend. My wife ordered the vegetarian Eggs Benedict, which, she said, was far better than ordinary Both orders came with home fries (freshly made and not greasy) and a large biscuit with butter on the side.

Love the unique options on the menu. Lox and bagel special was superb. Eggs benedict on homemade biscuit was outstanding. Watch out for the bees later in the season if you sit outside. Beautiful flowers in their gardens attract them.

A very cool place with great home-style food. We had breakfast and it was 5 Star. It's in a former home, and they've done a great job of keeping the home feeling with small dining spaces throughout. In a heavily tourist town, it feels like dinner with the neighbors. I am a tourist and like the tourist stuff, but I like my meals in places like this.

Everything was excellent here. I had the traditional eggs Benedict on biscuit and the eggs were poached perfect with excellent hollandaise sauce. Maddie was our server and was super friendly and accommodating!

The breakfast was very good my wife’s ordered a breakfast sandwich on homemade bread with “spicy” homefries they weren’t spicy at all but they were good they did have a nice house labeled hot sauce which was very good . I ordered the homemade hash it was delicious. It came with a house made biscuit with strawberry butter so tasty! We didn’t check out inside but it looked like a cool old inn coffee was also good!

Really great place to eat. My girlfriend and I went here for lunch while visiting Acadia National Park. The service was nice, very friendly to us and our dog, which was allowed on the patio :) We got a "cat paw" which is like a cinnamon biscuit muffin thing and it was SO good I cannot believe it isn't more prominent on the menu (you can find it under sides trust me get it). My girlfriend got the summer scramble and loved it. I got the bacon, mushroom, and cheese omelet and I also loved it (you will see on the pic a half slice of cheese on the omelette. Don't worry there was a lot more inside the omlette too!). The highlight of the meal were the cat paw and the biscuit with strawberry butter. Very very delicious. the We both came VERY hungry and left satisfied but not painfully full. Very good portions for big Americans like us lol.

This was our last breakfast on a long weekend. It should have been the first stop. It was absolutely fantastic! The food was so fresh and tasty. The server was polite and helpful. Highly recommended.

It’s annoying to read any negative reviews of this place and to listen to how travelers treat local staff. Traveling should be about experiencing a place not demanding the place cater to your hometown ways. enough of that! Do NOT MISS this place, go early, 630-730. order anything with a biscuit! delicious real food. ❤

So many vegan options I couldn’t believe it. Last time I dcame to Acadia I ate toast with jelly and black coffee. It was so refreshing to have options on the menu. We returned to this cafe several times. The tofu scramble was best here, best smoothies, and delicious home fries.

Still the best breakfast spot in Bar Harbor! They’re so fast and quality is top notch. The Mediterranean breakfast is my go to and I’ve never been disappointed.

Went in June and I’m still thinking about the spicy potatoes! The eggs Benedict is also on a biscuit and hands down the best Benedict I’ve ever had.

You can definitely tell there's love in the cooking! Cute atmosphere and excellent food. I got herbed eggs, and it did not disappoint! The eggs were loaded with fresh summer herbs and perfectly seasoned, as were the potatoes. I'm a sucker for a good biscuit, and the fact that it came with strawberry butter made my day. I highly recommend stopping by.
