A great tour! We paid extra for the extended tour, and it was worth it. Our tour guide, David, was very knowledgeable and had lots of interesting information and stories. He was both friendly and academic in his approach.

Highly recommend!!! Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great personality! The group we were with was also fantastic. We all had a really good time despite having to take cover to avoid the rain that sprang up on us near the end. Tour takes you to some really neat places and you learn some of the fascinating history of Bar Harbor. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

This is a great way to see Bar Harbor, learn some history and enjoy a spooky night out on the town.
Our storyteller was friendly and knowledgeable and great at setting the mood without over hyping the haunts. She even stayed late after her shift to show us around the Criterion Theater due to a late movie that night.
Ledgelawn was probably the highlight of the stops, but the best ghost story was down by the waterfront.

Very fun and interesting experience! Our tour guide has lots of comic relief to go along with great storytelling. It’s also a good way to learn some of the buildings and businesses around Bar Harbor. Definitely a great way to spend a couple hours at night!

This is one of the best tours I’ve done- and I love a good spooky tour! We learned so much about the area and left feeling a little uneasy… exactly how you should feel after a well done ghost tour. Audrey was a fantastic storyteller!

A must see if you’re in Bar Harbor!! Gigi was fantastic and funny. The stories kept me interested. It’s one hour and thirty minutes, but it went by so fast. 11/10

My fiancé and I have been on our fair share of ghost tours, and this was one of our favorites. Not only is Jennifer a passionate storyteller, you can tell that she has deep academic knowledge of and personal connection to the area and its history and Native tribes. A highlight of our time in Bar Harbor.

If you’re coming to bar harbor, you HAVE to do the ghost tour! Perfect blend of local history and creepiness without being disrespectful or corny! I wasn’t actually expecting to go home a little scared, but I did! And I loved it! Gigi was our guide and she was an AMAZING story teller! She seemed to accommodate certain topics to the group to make sure everyone was having a good time! She was also very interactive and had a few laughs with each member of the tour!

Hands-down the best ghost tour I’ve ever done. The gentleman who led our tour was an excellent storyteller and was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. My attention was held the entire time. It was a great way to end one of our nights on vacation!

Found this tour by walking past the sign and it ended up being one of our favorite things we did in Bar Harbor! Our tour guide Jennifer was kind and knowledgeable. She knew how to keep the whole group engaged! Interesting historical tidbits as well! Couldn’t recommend this tour enough! Jennifer if you’re reading this, we found our camera!

These tours are a perfect way to end your perfect day in Bar Harbor. Our group took two tours. The ghost tour with Daniel and the monster tour with Jennifer. Both guides were super knowledgeable, engaging, and great storytellers. I would also recommend checking out the Abbe Museum for more information about the local peoples, their history, and traditions. An all around rich and fulfilling experience that should not be missed while in Bar Harbor.

This was a fantastic ghost tour. Our tour guide was full of wonderful information and stories. It's also a nice length of a tour, ours ran a little long because there was so much to share. Loved all the spots we visited, especially the theater and graveyard. I genuinely appreciated that it tied in stories from the local native community. It was a perfect way to end the tour.

The ghost tour was amazing and our tour guide, Audrey, was so fun to listen to. The tour incorporated a lot of history and we were really happy we got access to the Criterion theater. It was a great walk around Bar Harbor and we enjoyed the stops around town specific to certain ghost stories.

My husband and I really enjoyed this! Interesting stories. Our tour guide was amazing and she was very entertaining and personable. Highly recommend! I would also recommend purchasing the t- shirts they offer while purchasing tickets if you want one as the gift shop will be closed during tour and they give it to you before the walk. Good price for shirts and have the logo on front and names of ghosts/elementals from tour on back.

My main reason for posting a review was to say how wheelchair accessible the tour was. The sidewalks aren’t perfect (what sidewalks are?) but there was only one missing curb cut on the whole journey that lead me to travel about 15ft on the road instead. Even the 1932 Criterion theatre was accessible to me.
The tour was great, the guide was knowledgeable and although the weather was freezing we had an excellent time. Absolutely worth your time and money.

Jennifer and the Monsters by Moonlight light tour are both outstanding! Storytelling is truly a craft. I have taken tours all over the country and Jennifer is the best storyteller I’ve encountered. I could have listened to her for hours. You will get much more than what you pay for with the Monsters By Moonlight tour. Highly recommend!

We originally picked this one because of the student discount. And then we picked the monsters one at 9 and it was awesome. My brother and I had a fantastic time with Jennifer. She is so smart and a good story teller. You can genuinely tell she is an open person because she let everyone share stories to connect and provided really good information. After tonight, I’ll make sure to check out the museum and read up on some scary stories from other cultures.

We accidentally made reservations for a week prior to our trip, but they were really kind to allow us to change just hours before. Our guide was a fantastic orator! We did the regular ghost tour and found it family-friendly. Unfortunately we had to cut out early and missed the Wabanaki stories which is something I was really looking forward to. Ghost tours aren't always just about the "haunt", but provide a great walking history tour too. We learned a lot and would definitely recommend!

We just finished our tour and wanted to share how great our tour guide, Daniel, was. Daniel is a fantastic story teller and we learned so much from his tour. He was very knowledgeable about Bar Harbor's history. I would definitely recommend this tour
