Nice little park overlooking the water. Great place to watch the sunrise!

Beautiful park. Awesome place to park for downtown Bar Harbor- only 1-2 blocks off the beaten path and hardly anyone knows about it. Incredible views with picnic tables and benches. Flowers and shrubs are in full bloom and it is right on the shore walk! Wow - incredible! Go see it.

Good public parking space. Short walk to center. Easy in and out and a great walk by the shore.

Happened to stop by after dinner. Good place to relax and walk the trails. Likely closest place to look at bar and porcupine islands

Lovely little spot for a picnic with the dog and baby, the grass is nice and soft and well maintained. Good parking, a couple picnic tables along the Shore Path. Great view.

Great spot for a moonlight date walk or taking your dogs. There are benches neatly laid out near the beach, right next to the shore path. Quiet and calming. Nice view of the islands.

In the summer it's a popular romantic walk, and in the winter one of the few walks you can do in Bar Harbor!

Great little grass area, the beach beyond the Shore Path is a fun area to explore. The balance rock is extremely interesting

04-28-2017 - Grant Park was a total different experience. It was foggy walk which I love. I would come back here on summer if given a second chance. :)

I wish I would have found this park this first time and I might have been able to spend a bit more time in Bar Harbor downtown area. It's very difficult to maneuver the downtown area and this is a kind of "on the edge of town" hidden gem to park. There is also a great place to spread out a blanket with your dog, kids or whatever and picnic right there. It's easy access to the shore walk and the shops (it will require a little uphill trekking but well worth the minor effort). Next time I come to Bar Harbor- I will just go straight here and park.

Small park with grass along the walkway that goes along the waterfront up to the downtown area. Sizeable parking lot also here but like the one up in town it is pretty crowded in the weekend afternoons. No complaints, because I managed to get a parking spot.

Nice park. Big lawn. Great water views. We parked in the lot and walked into town. You pay ahead at an automatic kiosk

Awesome Rocky beach. Good for watching boats go by and having a place to eat. Balance Rock is also right off the park edge.

Great park to watch the sunrise in Bar harbor! There is ZERO need to drive anywhere else in Acadia. Balance rock is super cool and there are great benches. It's about a 3 minute walk from main street.

I live locally and this is a favorite place to stop by and see the Vista. . Great place for a picnic

Right in front of the parking lot, this is a convenient place to have a quick ocean view picnic before exploring bar harbor.
