I was in the ED and briefly admitted twice over the past month. The quality of care I received there on both occasions was outstanding. Their nurses, ER Docs and Hospitalists were all very helpful, caring and compassionate.
I cannot say enough good things about NWH and highly recommend them.

Nice, & clean. Everyone working there, especially,Medical staff are caring professionals ! My mom is there now& is getting superb Medical care, after being at a Boston Hospital, that gave her awful care !!! Valet, has a outside heater so while you wait for your car, in the cold months, , you have heat above you, if you don't want to wait inside ! Most important, the constant great Medical care she gets 24/7 ! For a local hospital, it is outstanding !

All of my experiences at NWH have been positive. Used ED twice this summer, no hassle or long wait. Treated with care and respect. I have 4 doctors offices on site. Again a pleasant environment and seen on time and sometimes seen early. Have had several surgeries and treatments here as well. I have not had an issue with any of them. I no longer work in that area and also now live 30 miles away. I still choose NWH over my local options. Thank you for asking us about our experiences. An A+ rating from me.

The medical staff is great but what I find to be a problem is anytime I have to bring a family member to the emergency room at Newton Wellesley Hospital. There’s always cars blocking the way to come around to exit out of the garage and today as I was leaving. I almost ended up, hitting somebody who is coming into the emergency parking room garage because there were no there was no way to come Out of the garage the way you’re supposed to the garage is a one-way all around one-way one-way out and it’s all in the same direction. This isn’t the first Guarantee it won’t be the last, but the hospital seriously needs to fix the problem because people are constantly parking in the spots blocking the exit because once upon a time they were parking spots you can tell because the lines are painted on the asphalt and because these lines are painted on the asphalt people assume it’s part parking spot which becomes problematic for other people like I should not have to go against traffic or against the direction of traffic to exit a parking garage so the hospital needs to fix this problem I have no issue with any of my doctors there, but this is a problem that I keep encountering and nobody seems to do anything about it

The best phlebotomist I have had on this journey is Joanne, on Saturday, 9/16/23 at around 10:30 am. She really knew what she was doing! She was quick, painless and very kind!
Thank you Joanne! I really appreciate you! I wish I could be assigned to you every time I need to have bloodwork !

This hospital is amazing. The ER nurses and Dr. I had were the most caring, compassionate people they actually listened to me and understood that I knew my body and the rare conditions that I have. I an truly grateful for them making me feel feel at ease during a stressful time. Bedside manor is everything and they are top notch! Thank you so much.

I will sing praises for this hospital to anyone who will hear for as long as I live. They saved my mother’s life. Without the swift attention and care she received, the expertise of the surgeons who operated on her and the kindness displayed by the nurses, she may not still be with us today. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Went to the ER due to sudden bleeding during pregnancy, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Within 2 hours since I got to the ER room, I had all the tests done including an ultrasound, received diagnosis and got discharged. Never felt I was forgotten as a nurse or intern would come and give update frequently while waiting. Also delivered my child at the hospital, and it's was a very positive experience.

Awesome nurses, MDs, entire staff: efficient, responsive, friendly, intelligent, compassionate. The food was even decent. It’s like the Ritz Carlton of hospitals. Choose it over others nearby. Extremely highly recommended.

Yesterday, I had spent several hours in the ER, while unfailingly polite, kind, and competent staff took excellent care of me. Everyone, from the lovely young man at ER reception to the two surgeons who met with me, was respectful, knowledgeable, patient, and caring. As an aside, the facilities staff deserves a shout-out. The hospital was spotless.
Though the stay was long, delays were never because I was "forgotten"; rather, everyone was being thorough. Someone always let me know what was happening every step of the way.
I honestly kept thinking that I am incredibly blessed to live in a country that has this kind of care available. Thank you to all.

I recently had to take my toddler to the Newton Wellesley ER during an acute allergic reaction, and I could not be more impressed with the way that her care was handled from the moment we walked in the door. The intake coordinators were so fast that we didn’t even have to take a seat in the waiting room, and her nurses and doctors were incredibly attentive and swift in her treatment. I knew that we were in good hands from the moment we arrived, and I am so thankful to the Newton Wellesley ER staff for taking such amazing care of my daughter during a very scary episode.

My son came home today after being admitted for 5 days at this hospital in pediatrics. I loved all the nurses and doctors. They were so supportive and helped me in every way possible during our stay. Had one incident with a rude employee at the front desk, but over all. I’m grateful for them. I will always remember the faces of every nurse there that cured my son.

My recent visit to Newton Wellesley Hospital ER with Dr. Huckins was the by far the most positive Emergency room experience I’ve ever had. I usually go into Brigham but decided I wasn’t up for the drive. It was incredibly busy in the ER when I arrived, but the entire staff from triage to discharge was stupendous! Dr. Huckins was an absolute Godsend! CALM, Non judgmental, so kind and with an exceptional bedside manner. I feel terrible that I cannot recall the nurse’s name who mostly took care of me, but she was an angel! She was patient and really made me feel at ease. Dr. Huckins offered me sage advice on the best way to proceed with my other medical ailments as well. He gave me referrals and even made my follow up appointment! He was fantastic as was the entire experience! As someone who has been suffering from numerous health concerns over many years, I left feeling very cared for and so content. Thank you Newton Wellesley! ❤

03/16/23 I was there with my son to rule out appendicitis and nurse Heather was the one who took care of us and boy my son ain’t east to be won over he does not interact but she spoke to him about sports and found their common ground even though the hospital was full of patients she made us feel as we where her main focus. I saw her attend most of her patients and she brought that same energy with all of them, in my opinion Heather is the image of what a nurse stands for and how they should be. Thank you nurse Heather and bless you .

Besides waiting for a while in the ER, which is expected at any hospital. We were surprised at how pleasant and nice everyone we dealt with was. Despite the situation we were in, we were treated with care and compassion. Nice hospital

This five star review goes to Kim in the L&D department. I’m so freaking lucky she was the nurse during the majority of my active labor… she stuck around after her shift because I started to deliver right when she was scheduled to go home. The next day she even came to visit me. Sam was also incredible, especially since she had just come out of her training. Both were more like doulas and helped me to navigate a difficult 2nd birth. So fortunate to have them as part of my son’s birth story.

Aside from one of the lady’s working the ER front desk 12/12 this hospital has been amazing. I brought my father on 12/12 as he had Covid and was not feeling great, fever, cough, chest pain and burning when breathing/ coughing, the woman in the ER this day after telling her his symptoms said yup please go sit in the emergency waiting area to be seen, I asked how long of a wait? She said a few hours in a rude tone, I then expressed he has Covid and is having trouble breathing. She then again in a very rude and unprofessional tone said 3 hour wait.

We went to another hospital in MA and had bad luck there. 12/15 my father called an ambulance due to his symptoms progressively getting worse, he has been in the hospitals care since then, and everybody along the way has been absolutely amazing and helpful, between the EMT’s and all of the nurses and doctors, everybody has been above and beyond professional and respectful and treated him with the upmost care. I can’t imagine how hard times can be especially with the staff shortage and Covid for our hospital workers, as well as the holiday approaching, he has not had one single complaint and has been taken care of so well and has all his oxygen levels coming back up to normal and is feeling so much better. Thank you!!!

My mom fell and was taken to the ER this past week. She got exceptionally good care from the ER department. The ER staff was very informative with me as well. We are very grateful for their care.
