Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Livonia

Abe went above and beyond for our place of business today (group order of 13 people). We tried placing an online order 3 or 4x and it would not go thru. We then called to see if we could email the online order to him in which we did. Computer issues were getting to the best of us and he came to our place of business, grabbed the orders, took them back to be made and hand delivered everything within 15-20 minutes. Customer service top notch. He was fast, efficient and very accommodating.

This location makes the BEST sandwiches by far. Seriously. And the service is always nice and helpful.

This is a busy location and it's nice to order ahead on the app. I always get the avocalado with 4 add-ons. I like the new edible lime straws because it adds a tiny bit of citrus flavor in every sip. The edible straws last me until I'm done with my smoothie because I drink it within 10 minutes but just in case grab a regular straw as well in case it starts to desinegrate. All in all my smoothies come out great every time.

Great service. Abe was excellent. He is Superfantastic, Stupendous and Tremendous. Has great interpersonal skills.

So I have only been to a few TSC's in the area but this one is my personal favorite. Smoothies are always thick and cold like I llike it. I have been to a could other and they were loose and cool, which is okay if you like that. This location can get busy around lunch time so you may want to order ahead if you are in a hurry or don't like waiting.

Have not had a bad experience so far. My smoothies are always on time when I order online and staff are friendly. They’re mostly young adults and teenagers, so of course you’ll hear laughing and talking. Cashier is always paying attention when I’m talking so it does not bother me.

I have been to this location three times, each time the same girl greeted me with a smile and took my order and got it to me in just a few minutes! I think her name was Alyssa? I visited the Bloomfield location and the smoothies didn’t taste as good... I see lots of negative reviews but I guess I just end up there at the right times!

I went to Tropical Smoothie on 5/4/18 around 4 or 5ish. There was a powerful storm that swept through earlier in the afternoon and it knocked out some of the power in the cafe. There was no food available due to the ovens losing power, and the A.C. was not working ( it was extremely hot inside the store) However there were smoothies available and the staff was awesome. Even in the sweltering heat they smiled and invited customers in. They did an excellent job being cheerful and quick to fill orders, even though you see them visibly sweating because if the heat. I couldnt believe it. Great attitudes, great staff. So impressed.

Acaie berry blast is an awesome smoothie.

First tried this little cafe only 2 weeks ago.
Came in because I was exiting TJs next door and saw the menu through the window. Didnt even realize they had food on the menu until that moment. Tried the Santa-Fe chicken quesadilla and man was I happily surprised. Best ever...anywhere. Sauce was excellent too. Just simple item but bursting with flavor. Debbie and Kathy were great too. Ive been back 3 times now. Had a great Peach, Strawberry, Banana smoothie with some protein added and it was fantastic.
This is a great little place that makes my day each time I visit. So glad I finally gave it a try.

I love tropical smoothie. They have more than just smoothies. They have different foods including sandwiches, wraps, and quasidillas. My favorite is the chicken quesadilla. They also have many varieties of smoothies. Some are healthy and others are just tasty. It's a good way to cool off in this hot summer weather!! It is a great place for kids or adults. The service here is pretty great too. They don't take too long to make everything.

Always get my order right and they're fast and convenient. Friendly employees.

This is response to Ashely...I worked at tropical smoothie for 4 years. I haven't heard one complaint about this place or the owner before, and I know the owner has always taken care of his customers, I still go to tropical smoothie Livonia pretty frequently, it is the only one I ever go too.

They were super busy, and running like a well oiled machine. Although they had several customers waiting, it was quick and everything I ordered was good and as requested.

I love this place. You can mix any combination you want and it's so yummy

My service was excellent there was only two employees which should never happen on a Sunday they were back and they were doing the best they could with a smile on your face the whole entire time I don't normally come to this location because I live on the other side of town and I always use my app for some reason does not work at Home Livonia location other than that everything was awesome
