Nine Keys Salon + Metaphysical

I sought out a welcoming and chill salon that was able to help me achieve my vivid and blonde hair color dreams. I fell in love with Walter’s work, and have now been seeing her for over two years. Walter, as well as the other staff, is always so friendly and attentive at every appointment. I feel like I am hanging out with friends when I am in the salon. These artists all take great pride in their work, and their passion shows in the care they take for their clients. The salon is beautiful, with comfortable and size-inclusive chairs that are accessible. The newly remodeled layout has created a lovely opportunity for local artists to display their crafts and demonstrate their skills. I would never hesitate to recommend the salon or any of the artists there, and I will continue to trust Walter with my hair for years to come.

Maddy Cook dyed my hair and it was truly a great experience. I will forever go to her for fun and beautiful hair. I’ve gotten countless compliments ever since! 💛 and my hair still feels just as soft and healthy as it did before I dyed it.

I cannot express how much I loved this hair transformation experience — my previous haircut (at a different salon in WI) had been borderline traumatic and the alleged "curly hair specialist" had talked me out of the mullet undercut style I'd hoped for, claiming it wouldn't work on curls. Welp, Taylor (the owner of Nine Keys) sure proved her wrong! She explained her vision for the haircut clearly, checking every step of the way to ensure that the changes satisfied the brief, and she made sure to check in multiple times during the dye process to see how I was feeling. Her apprentice Maddy did this impeccable dye job, and I am still — weeks later — completely over the moon about this color! I get stopped by strangers all the time now with compliments or just huge smiles because it apparently makes them just as happy as it makes me to see the bright pop of magenta fairy vibes out and about haha. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants to make a big change, and they also do tarot/astrology readings for anyone interested in the metaphysical realm. ✨

I love Maddy so so so much, she has done an outstanding job on my hair both times i've seen her. I will continue to see her as long as i can 🙏

Taylor has a wonderful space with a lot of really great stylists. There is a stylist for every need. It’s spacious, and there are crystals and art everywhere you look. Taylor and her crew are so welcoming. I love my hair cut and catch up sessions! Oh and the classes and markets are awesome! I can’t recommend Nine Keys enough!

I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years now to come see Walter, and she is FANTASTIC! Listens to what I want, and cuts my hair to perfection! I always walk out of the salon feeling like a million bucks! I’ve also purchased crystals and sage from the shop and Taylor is the nicest owner! Super friendly, and talkative!

I have been going to Taylor (owner/proprietor) for over 10 years now, hopping between the various locations she has had a chair at - Nine Keys is definitely my favorite of all of them.

Taylor’s attention to detail and care for her clients really shines through as she has been able to make an experience that is a true representation of who she is.

Couldn’t recommend Maddy more! I am growing out a pixie cut and needed more shaping and a fresh color. She dyed and cut my hair better than I could have ever imagined. She is so sweet & friendly! Will be continuing to see her for all my hair needs!

The end product was stunning and made my mom feel alive again (seriously) my mom has never felt comfortable enough to do anything drastic, and she left and couldn’t stop raving about how much she loved her hair, but also how much she loved the salon and Taylor. i have been seeing walter for my hair for years now & she is absolutely incredible. between our conversations and the relaxed environment, i always trust that when i go to see her im going to feel confident and at peace when im done! the nine keys space is also beautiful, welcoming, and carries a relaxed aura compared to some other salon spaces i've been in. it is always a pleasure!

I am a huge fan of nine keys. I was recommended to Sarah by a friend, and she gave me the best haircut of my life! I have now converted all of my friends to nine keys & Sarah stans bc she is so fabulous. Every time I get a haircut there, I feel listened to & come out with exactly what I wanted!
