Kowalski's Markets

Only complaint is the bike parking. I feel like only one bike can actually fit on the rack given its proximity to the building, the entrance column, and a handicap parking space. Would love if the rack could be moved to accommodate more bikes. Otherwise, a great grocery store!

Very happy with the cake we pre-ordered online from Kowalskis. It looked beautiful and tasted delicious. I’m glad we opted for the cream cheese frosting and raspberry filling, the whole family enjoyed it!

everyday things. Best baked goods, from bread to sweets. Great deli, with lots of choices, hot & cold. Good parking options. Friendly people. Good location for our Nokomis area. FAVORITE !

I ordered a sheet cake for my sons 2nd birthday. A Construction site with trucks and rainbow confetti loads, and it was perfect! And it tasted so good too. Thanks for making his birthday cake, was just perfect!

A jewel in the neighborhood with high quality food from breads, cheese to first class local produce, baked treats to a small gift selection. Great deli, olive bar, take out options, and if course, just the thing you ran out of —milk or eggs or tha jalapeño pepper you need for that recipe. A true pleasure to shop there

We love our Kowalski's on Chicago! The staff is very friendly and kind.

This is my favorite grocery store I have shopped at. The staff is wonderful, it is small but has everything a experienced home chef needs. Also I have Celiac disease and their clearly labeled gluten free items makes shopping a breeze.

Love this Kowalskis, but this review pertains specifically to catering. My mom used them for catering for my baby shower and it was exceptional!!! When I decided to host a shower for a friend, it was my first choice. Unfortunately, my event had to be canceled, however they were understanding even with short notice and refunded me. Excellent customer service!!!!

A bit pricier than a Cub or Rainbow, and a bit more narrow, but much more convenient located in the neighborhood. I think that they do a wonderful job cramming as much into the store as they do. The deli has a good selection for the size, the fruits and vegetables are fresh and well stocked. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

I love their deli! Great quality food for a reasonable price. Their deli chickens are amazing, and clean. I shop their because I know I am getting what I want, and the service is great. They bag your grocery’s also, which I love.

2/11/21 Trish in the deli: She was fantastic! She provided some good advice, was extremely helpful with an awesome attitude. The type of service Trish provided is exactly what you look for when you go to a supermarket and it’s that kind of service that will make me go out of my way just to shop there because that’s how it should be done. If kowalski’s is smart, this is the type of employ lure you want to promote. I have always enjoyed the vibe of this little market, but if you something kind of random/specific I would go somewhere else just because they don’t carry “everything” because they are smaller. I had the blackened chicken salad from the deli and it was good!

Great place for good food. I gave been in another state where this quality of food is unavailable at any of the 5 major grocers. Some basic organics are available, but only occasional, limited grass fed meat or even more than one choice. I love the nourish prepaks in produce. They can be eaten as a raw salad, cooked for a side dish or even main course. Well worth a visit.

Mom and I both agreed this was a fun shopping experience. Mom has Alzheimer's, the store was small enough not to be overwhelming to her and had everything I needed. Next time I go I will have to take not of the lighting because in my mind it was not that glaring florescent feel. "Everyone was so nice!" -Mom.

Kowalski's has great produce and an awesome deli. Staff is very friendly at this location. They do a good job stocking a large variety of products in a small building. Prices are higher than at Cub, but it's always a pleasant experience stopping in.

I love this small supermarket with a mix of affordable and fancy items. I especially love Ines Rosales sweet olive oil tortas which no other store to my knowledge carries. Always a pleasant shopping experience.

A very great grocery store that happens to be a staple of our community.

I love going to Kowalski's but the staff there is another level of attractive I couldn't walk around without wanting to rip my clothes off. I love going to Kowalski's to "survey the goods" but I never shop there.

Small but well stocked and efficient place to get groceries. The brand selection can be limited but generally has a full grocery selection. Dairy is especially well stocked with high end yogurts (unlike Target which seems to always be out of what i am looking for).

This place is great. So convenient and close to home and the service is always 5 star. The deli department especially I'm always treated so well it's refreshing to get such great customer service every time I stop in. I prefer shopping here over the big store down the street. Keep up the good work Kowalskis

This was my first time shopping at this Kowalski's location. Things were easy to find, and the store had everything I planned to get. Plus there were some deli offerings that grabbed my eye. Parking was easy.
