The Patty Wagon

Great little neighborhood spot and it feels like Tailgate’s quieter sibling in a good way. I know it’s mostly about the burgers and chicken sandwiches here, but I think their BLT is among the best in the city. Top shelf, high quality bacon and lettuce that is always a bit more crispy and fresh than we usually find. Salads are ridiculously fresh for the price too. Don’t hesitate to grab a burger, but don’t sleep on the BLT!

Cozy atmosphere, nice down to Earth staff, and delicious burgers! The fries were also SO good! We look forward to trying everything. Prices are very reasonable. It's a good date spot if you want to be able to hear each other.

5 stars for an awesome burger. I personally thought the five alarm stuffed burger had a bit more sauce on it than I would have preferred but it was still really good. My wife had the Italian stuffed burger and it was also really good

This is our normal spot that we visit when coming to visit my grandparents. They always remember my grandpa and make him feel at home. Good food and family friendly atmosphere

Food was delicious. Sauces are $1 extra, but they do tell you that before they bring you more. Shakes here were delicious too.

Recently voted, “Best Burger in Minneapolis”! There is a good reason for that. Unstoppable, I just enjoyably swallow the last bite of their superb Speed Limit Breaker, seven amazing flavors of fabulous all blended to perfection just tantalized my taste buds so much I stuffed myself with the generous portion of greatness! Then, I recommend substituting the french fries for their very amazing sweet potato tater tots. The service was top notch with excellent attention to their guests. I highly recommend going there when in town!

My cousin and I were in that part of town and decided to grab a cocktail, as it was Sunday funday. It was brunch time and we found ourselves, as the only two patrons, having it with the bartender. Whom according to my cousinwas, "a handsome, baby faced, blue eyed, strwpping, young man". I thought he was very nice and attentive. Lol. Drinks were but one get one for $.50, so how could we go wrong? Ended up having to leave abruptly, and the barkeep was kind enough to give us the drinks we had at the special price, as we only each had 1 bevvie. I'd love to go back and try the food, as I've heard rave reviews of the eats there. Based on the great bartender alone, we both said we'd go back, again. The business had been there for many years now, so they must be doing things right! Kudos !

I don’t write many reviews but just wanted to say I will always remember the good service at Patty Wagon. I was exhausted after a sleepless overseas flight and needed a bite before my last flight home. Cabbed it to Patty’s, placed a to-go order, and realized when I got to my gate that I needed a spoon to eat it (and doubted that a sit-down place had a plastic one to give me). I was right. They didn’t. But they gave me one of their metal spoons. Maybe it was the sleeplessness talking, but it meant so much and I still think of it almost a year later.

Amazing food, attentive and accommodating staff. Waitstaff from the restaurant next door came over to help (I was with a large group, and no one thought to make reservations), and made sure everyone had drinks in a reasonable amount of time.

Parking is free, there's wifi, and the outside of the bathrooms are whimsical (see pics).

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Minneapolis, and will definitely be back when I'm back.

Such great service. I commented while we were there that I never had to ask for a thing. Our server Kim beat us to the punch and made our experience excellent! Best service ever. Excellent food, and great value. Thanks!!!

This is a real gem of a place!!! Service is great and food is great. Reasonable prices for a good burger. Beats like red cow for burgers prices for sure. First time I had the V8 special and second time I had the Gobbler. My husband has the four alarm. My favorite so far is the V8. The sweet potato tots are AMAZING. Its $2 extra but absolutely worth it! My husband had the waffle fries with sour cream sauce that was so good!

Don’t accept discover credit cards. Need a reservation for groups of 5 or more.

On Sundays we notice kids eat for free! Smaller beer selection but still great choices.
Tables are spaced out to be covid friendly

I am HIGHLY RECOMMENDING The Patty Wagon for a local burger & bites eatery here in the Twin Cities! Just happened to be located 0.4 miles from our groomer, D was hungry, and I was BLOWN AWAY! 🤯 Unfortunately, due to #civilunrest they still had very few patrons.... SO UNFORTUNATE because the food was INCREDIBLE 🍔 our server Maria was amazing 💁‍♀and the MOD Jeff made it a point to stop by to ensure we had a great experience. 🤗 Richfield was majorly affected and they are still feeling the impact. So...please call...grab a burger, a shake, a hotdog, or better yet,, ENJOY the dining room cause ALL 3 were amazeballs and the Patty Wagon deserves a high five from our local community in the very least! 🥰 Soooooo Goooood! 💯

TL;DR - great burger and nice and fast service; definitely worth a visit.

Atmosphere: Seemed like a welcoming enough place, but I went over lunch on a Saturday over a holiday weekend and it was Pretty dead. If I had to nitpick the bathroom wasn't as clean as it really should have been considering how slow it was, and they tables seem to have this weird rubberized-coating which, while clean, just felt sticky.

Service: I was expecting the service to be slow as that is often the case when business is slow, but was very happy to be wrong on that front. I was greeted and seated immediately and my order was taken quickly, though I never felt rushed. The food arrived in about 10 minutes which was really impressive. My server was Kim and she was super friendly!

Food: I got the Rise and Shine burger with tots on for a side. The burger was prepared well and was properly cooked and tasty. The hash browns on the burger were also nice and crispy while also not being overly plentiful so as not to mask the other flavors. There was also an egg on the burger which was cooked perfectly in that it was a little gooey without being runny.

Would absolutely stop by again!

I'm from Sioux Falls, SD. And I would love to travel to here again on a vacation. I can't wait to bring my friends, and family here!

The Lions are amazing! I love their healthy manes. So furry. I also liked the giraffes and tigers too. The food is great and so is the pinball machines

We came into town from Milwaukee for the Mall of America and a family gathering. We came here based on the Google reviews and it did not disappoint. I had a Black Maria, Juicy Lucy style burger, wife and daughter both had cheese burgers. They were awesome as well as the hand cut fries. I had cole slaw and it was also hand made and super tasty and fresh. Overall a great meal.

Great food got to see santa Sid!! The place was perfect got in on time got a spot right away will be coming back. Amazing waitress too!!!

Everyone was very nice, I ate twice once breakfast then next day lunch meals were nice portions and reasonable price biscuits and gravy were over the top.

Relaxed atmosphere, attentive and kind service, great food at value prices. Popped in for breakfast. Coffee cup never saw less than half full, same with soda. Omelet was full and luscious, belgian waffle with fruit exceptional. Hash browns and bacon crisp as it should be! This will be our new go to spot! Thanks Kim and the crew for everything!
