Lakewinds Food Co-op Richfield MN

Went to check out the bulk bins and was pleasantly surprised with the wide variety. The scale was super easy to use and very intuitive! Easy to bring your own containers and measure the tare. They have nuts, dried fruit, sweets, granola, so many different kinds of rice, oats, lots of different kinds of flour, and great coffee deals! There was even raw honey and maple syrup. The soap refill bins were by all the paper products and other cleaning supplies.

I love how organized they're. They have a great Wellness section. The salad bar is fantastic. Their smoothies are delicious & staff is always friendly.

Likewinds has quickly become a favorite. Their selection of produce is excellent. I also like their ready-to-go food. The best spring roll is found here. Or egg salad. The chicken noodle soup is just perfect. The staff is also helpful and immediately available when we need help

love all the choices for healthy eating - they have deli area hot food area sushi a lot of gluten free items and our favorite Laird Superfoods Vanilla Creamer

Wonderful co-op where each product carried is carefully chosen so that you can shop knowing that it will be of high quality, but also very likely more local or ethically produced than alternatives. Co-ops also give back to their communities in ways that big corporate stores don't.

After looking through so many grocery stores for specialty foods that cater to new dietary restrictions, I discovered Lakewinds in Richfield. Their staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Their products are superior to any other grocery store I’ve been to. After purchasing a membership, the savings they offer make living a healthier lifestyle more affordable. Shopping here is a joy.

Not sure if this is the right place to report this, but here it is. First off, I love the store and the employees are simply great. Never has my experience here been anything but amazing in terms of the store and employees. However, the other day, was a Tuesday, I was almost run over by a young man in a white Nissan Rogue while walking in the parking lot, he then yelled some words I won't repeat here afterwards. Shortly after another kind young man approached me and told me that he was an Instacart shopper and that I should report this incident. I took a picture of his license plate which was JHS185. Hopefully you guys can do something about this young man, as his behavior is not acceptable.

I love this co-op. Tons of local food options. Not a lot of choices within item types, but there's probably at least one option for whatever you're looking for. Kind of pricey, but the quality is exceptional!

We've been members here for years. It's one of the best co-ops in Mpls.

I drive to Lakewinds from Minneapolis whenever I can. This is the ideal grocery for me. The store is clean, the selection is great but most of all, the people are lovely. Sam who works at the Cafe is such a pleasure. He was so kind to my son- it made his day to talk with Sam. And I love to hear the latest developments going on with Harry when I check out. This place is great.

I absolutely love this Co-op. Uber fresh produce, butcher case, bakery and deli. Amazing cheese section. Coffee and bulk selection is absurdly good and excellent selection. The staff is super friendly and helpful. This place is a joy to shop in.

Lakewinds has the best salad bar in the twin cities. I LOVE it. I am so happy that it has opened back up and it looks, and tastes just like it did before the pandemic. Thank you, Lakewinds!

I love this coop! The produce is always fresh and as local as it can be. The bulk section is particularly amazing. The have a good wellness selection for all your herbal needs. The staff are so nice, the hot food counters are always changing, and the coffee counter is phenomenal. You can get all sorts of ready made foods hot or cold, and they are especially known for their fresh house made pizza dough. They have a good membership and always ask if want to use my monthly discount so I don’t miss it. The credit card roundup option is a good reminder to give back!

"Love this place! So many great options packed into half the size of a Cub store. The meat is out of this world. Lamb in several forms, grass fed beef, fresh seafood, free range chicken, bison and pork aplenty. Produce is always well stocked and fresh. The one place I feel they could be better is baked goods." That is my original review of Lakewinds. Still love this place and still wish they offered more baked goods than they do. They generally have some prepared meal options but my last visit, it was well shopped and not restocked. Not such a huge deal, but I will pause when trying to take the lazy way out of dinner.

Lakewinds Richfield is an awesome store! What makes them awesome is their awesome STAFF. Whenever I’ve been in the store, staff members have gone out of their way to ensure that I have the “best” experience possible ! Clean store, fresh product, helpful and knowledgeable staff, makes them arguably one of , if not the best grocery shopping experience in the Cities. Great job to all and a big shout out to the two guys named “Chris” who assisted in making sure that I didn’t go home without my favorite oatmeal cookies!

Cute store, and super friendly employees. It's on the smaller side for a grocery store, but good selection of organic options. Went in for a particular kind of whole grain a friend wanted, and found it quickly and easily. Was a pleasant experience that will definitely have me stopping in again.
