Stebner Park

Some may say this park is pretty basic, but I think it's perfect for me and my toddler. Plenty of space to practice walking, both on the grass and on the paved path.

Nice park and starting point of the paved boulder trail! Perfect place for a short jog/walk/doggie walk, especially when the natural-surface trails are closed for mud season.

We pulled over to see the moon. It was huge. Then bright lights appeared so we stayed longer. Could not see anything. It was dark.

Beautiful walking trails! We actually went up there to escape the cold windy weather down by the lake, and it was nearly 10° warmer, less wind and sunny! Crazy!

Good place to walk with a few trails and a nice little playground with swings. Sometimes the bathrooms are closed when we go, but other than that, it's a great park.

Walk path, big open soccer fields, play ground.

Good place to bring the family for a walk or bike ride. If you have little ones there is a playground for them. Several fields to throw Frisbee or kick around soccer ball or just eun wild and burn off some energy.

Awesome fields! Parking was great, not too far from the fields, 2 Porta potties for our tournament made it so there was never a line. The hand sanitizer was full. There was a baseball field for the other kids to play at in the back lot and a park with more facilities in the front lots.

There is a playground for kids to play on next to two of the soccer fields and main building they have there. Two more smaller soccer fields are down the road further.

Stebner Park is a little gem in Hermantown. My kids have played soccer for many years and I've always appreciated having Stebner Park so close to home. The grounds are well maintained. The local soccer association is able to host large tournaments there with ease. They even host soccer camps in the summer. Comparing Stebner Park to other local soccer fields, I'd have to rank them as my favorite for a few reasons: It's pretty flat (I'm not climbing huge hills to get to a soccer field), the parking is plentiful and paved, and it's well laid out. For being located in a small community, I'd say Stebner Park shines pretty bright.

Love the new walking trail.. always smiling faces greeting you! Soccer fields are always clean and well manicured.

Great place to come for a picnic on the grass. Kids have plenty of space to run, and there's a small playground they can play on if it isn't too busy with this COVID crud going around.

Looking for a medallion one winter was a great introduction! I might go back in the summer just to find out what a "soccer mom" looks like if I can find a place big enough to park my pickup among the minivan suv's.
