It can be a bit difficult navigating buying a home. Real estate agents can be tough, because unless you're going in with someone in mind it's kind of an audition process at every viewing. We really feel like we lucked out with Francesco. He showed us the first home we looked at and then the (few) successive homes until we found the right one for us. He's not pushy, he's honest, including being honest about what he doesn't know, which is a great quality. He's proactive in finding answers to questions that you may have as a buyer. Overall communication was great. As a first-time buyer we had a lot of (probably dumb) questions, but were never made to feel ignorant for not knowing something. I would highly recommend Francesco, particularly if you're looking at older homes in the Twin Cities. It can be a gamble choosing a property with some history, but between Francesco and the team he's assembled it never felt like a big risk.

Without exaggeration and to my surprise, buying a house was one of the easiest things I've ever done. Francesco completely streamlined the process for us. We connected with Francesco/KILT through Zillow. He was very professional and responsive which alone exceeded my expectations for anyone found through the Internet. Moreover, he is friendly and has a calming demeanor. I never felt rushed or pressured. He offered needed objectivity when I already was in love with a home (e.g., pointing out potential structural concerns/issues, encouraging us to keep an open mind and look around). Then, when I was fickle about the same home, he rolled with the punches all the way to our closing date (i.e., withdrew our accepted offer at my request and then when I changed my mind, helped us get the home again).

Importantly, Francesco brings with him a great team. We appreciated Megan's reminders, responsive communication, and frequent updates throughout the process so we never had to guess.
