China Garden Restaurant

I ordered from China Garden today for lunch. I ordered the Orange Chicken combo. The Orange Chicken had a ton of flavor and was just the right amount of spicy! The chicken fried rice was also very flavorful, but I didn't see much egg or veggies, but it was tasty nonetheless. The combo also came with an egg roll, which I thought was also very good. The food was delivered very quickly and was piping hot when it arrived. I can't wait to try other items!

We were not sure about this place when we entered, we were long for a buffet but the menu choices and prices had us wanting to try. The first thing I noticed was everything was impeccably clean, including the restrooms. The restaurant itself was very small, maybe about 20 customers at a time. The decor was kind of plain, and I do not mind that. The food portions were great for the money, and tasted like they were prepared by a chef. The whole experience was excellent, our server was very professional and I want to come back the next time I'm in town!

enjoyed the food. i ordered the chicken Teriyaki and it was Immaculate. vary delicious, will order again. the dipping sauce for the Dumplings has some heat to it that I like. will order from this place again

Absolutely love the Garden! My favorite Asian restaurant in Minneapolis! Hands down! The most delicious food, as you can tell they use very fresh ingredients. Especially love the Orange chicken or General Tso's! Yum!! Pepper steak great also. Very nice people...and quick service. Go now.

We got takeout on Christmas Day. The food was good, and a lot! General Tso's chicken was quite spicy, which I like. I also just want to add a note that, while they were quite busy as expected, they were bombarded with very rude Doorsash drivers and they dealt with that as best as they could. We ordered directly through their site and had our food in a reasonable amount of time. Order direct, and avoid the vampire third-party apps, and you'll have no problems.

i ordered take out from here for the first time, and i will be back. Some of the best chinese food i've had around here. I got the family special (or something like that, and it was so tasty and a nice portion)

That hole in the wall everyone looks over the food is always fresh, the give you very nice portions for the price. I’m actually glad I discovered this Chinese place it’s my fav so far

Very happy with my experience here! We ordered delivery of Orange chicken with plain lo mein and it was delicious and so much food! My 15 month old and I ate our fill and there was still a little left over. It also came with an egg roll, fortune cookie, packet of soy sauce and duck sauce. From placing the order to receiving the delivery took about 30 minutes, there was no way to track when the delivery was coming, but it felt pretty fast. The photo was after we took a few bites. Overall very pleased and will probably order from here again!

I really liked the BBQ pork, it was authentic in a way that other places often are not, and the sauce was excellent.

The food is always amazing every time and they are very accommodating to alterations/substitutions! The delivery driver has always been so friendly, polite and quick! They have become my go-to restaurant for Chinese! :)

Yumm!! Best egg roll in town. Portions on the combo plates are perfect and they are so fast to have your food ready. Everyone is always smiling and nice when I grab my takeout too.

Love this place, found it on Uber Eats once and now it is our go to! We always get the beef fried rice, cream cheese wontons and beef with broccoli, never disappoints.

China Garden is always good.
Every time I order food from here I find try something new, and every time I enjoy it. Everything is modestly priced.

They do use a lot of sauce in their entrées, that’s probably the only complaint I would have. Aside from that I love this place and would definitely recommend to a friend.

A small, quiet environment ideal for a casual meal or quick pick up. They also deliver! Prices are good for food quality and portion. Plenty of parking and easy access to the rest of Hub Center Mall.

Ordered take out and all the food is delicious. We ordered many entrees and sides and they were all still streaming hot when we got home to eat. NOTHING was missing from our order and there were even EXTRAS (like sweet and sour sauce for the egg roll) that were not expected, but much appreciated. That thought of it all. Cream cheese wontons were perfect. Crispy and creamy. Chicken dumplings were my favorite. We plan on making this our new go-to place for Chinese food. Highly recommend.

I had ordered some cream cheese wontons and dumplings with a sprite and when the driver got to my house to deliver my food he had realized he had forgotten my sprite. No big deal haha but he said he would come back with it. He did! 15 ish minutes later and he came back with it. First time someone had actually gave me everything i ordered even if they had forgotten it. Great service!!

A fantastic experience! We got the orange chicken, ma po tofu, shrimp lo mein, and curry chicken. All of the dishes were absolutely delicious and the prices were so reasonable. I'm excited to come back to China Garden time and time again.

Went about 2 months ago and wow amazing food!! I couldn’t get enough of the egg drop soup so thankfully it came in a huge bowl. Everything my friend and I ordered was delicious down to the egg rolls. Will definitely be coming every time I come to Minnesota.

My hunt for the best Chinese food in the metro area ended when I found China Garden. Their food is awesome!
