Hot Comics and Collectibles

This is a hidden gem in the Twin Cities. This place is huge and filled from ceiling to floor with so much product. You have to take a couple hours to really enjoy the store as a whole. They have so much to offer and its going to take time to get through it all or majority of it. But let me tell you about this stores greatest asset. Its the staff! They made me feel welcomed and super comfortable to take it all in. Usually I catch awkward vibes and side eyes from people when i'm enjoying a hobby of mine in comic book stores but this stores staff were phenomenal at creating a culture of invitation. I will be back just to continue the conversation we were having. This location gives you a feel of old neighborhood, everybody knows/wants to know your name type of places. The atmosphere makes it easy for you to make friends and bond over amazing things the store has to offer. Please visit this place and let me know what you think!

First impression of this place. AMAZING. This store will make the kid at heart very happy. They have stuff for everyone. Great selection and the guys working were very helpful and knowledgeable as well. Your first trip in will be over whelming and better plan some time to just look around.

First time there this last weekend. Great place with so much to choose from. Staff was great to talk with and knowledgeable of everything in the store. Picked up a few things I didn’t expect to find and will be back soon.

Hot Comics and Collectibles is an excellent store with a wide range of options. Their selection is impressive, catering to diverse interests. The pricing is fair, ensuring you get value for your money. The staff members are friendly, providing a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience.

Beware they have a posted no return policy. I've shopped here twice & haven't had an issue. An alternative to Nerdin' Out.

Perfect spot if you love classic video games, action figures, Magic cards, Star Wars and they have both old and new titles from Marvel and DC.

Bought a G1 Optimus prime with a defective launcher that I was able to repair thanks to youtube and it was totally priced accordingly. I'm so excited about this thing, Ive wanted one forever it was $10 cheaper than anyone on eBay. Thanks again, just when I think I'm done collecting G1 transformers I'm always drawn back in. I really love the selection here. Interesting note, I bought a 1st printing of issue 2 of ninja turtles here in the late 90s when they were located around the corner from OCB. Always something goofy and fun to find here. Great selection of comics and tons of collectable toys from the 80s (the best era of Toys). BUSSIN!

Absolutely fantastic store! We came to Minnesota on vacation and stopped into all the video games, comics, and collectibles stores. This was by far the best one we went to. There selection is massive. The amount of comics and figures is exactly what I would want in a store. Unfortunately we didn't have a ton of time so I couldn't browse the comic bins but I did buy over 20 action figures. The owner and employee were nice and definitely know there stuff. I highly recommend this store and if I ever come back to Minnesota I will be sure to stop back in.

I have a very excellent staff with a lot of knowledge about the product they are selling. Professional and courteous and never overbearing, freaking answer pretty much any question you might have on the spot.

Came from Miami for work was staying nearby and decided to drop in, left with a collectible and some pins and was very happy. Staff was very nice!

I usually go here for Pokemon cards, but my boyfriend loves going through the many tables of long boxes for comics. They also hold events for magic and pokemon. The folks I have met there are great and friendly. The staff is very inviting and it is not uncommon to see they chatting with various guests and regulars that come in. I love coming here!

Nice and friendly lots of action figures in comics

The people are the best part. Don't get me wrong, there is a good selection of current comics and a large selection of back issues, but the workers are fantastic people. They're not only helpful, but incredibly friendly. I don't go anywhere else. The guys here are phenomenal and won't make you feel like an idiot for asking questions or for help, and treat female geeks, nerds, etc. with great respect -- with the exception of one dude, but I'm fairly sure he was just filling in -- unlike larger shops like The Source. There is a selection of comics made my Minnesota publishers too, which I think is fantastic. Everything about this shop is warm and welcoming. Head in and take a look around; even if you don't have something in mind, or don't really want to buy much, the guys are great and just chatting them up is always a pleasure.
