Always super helpful and take great care of our kitties and doggy. Really shined when our kitty passed away unexpectedly, and they helped with the cremation. A sad but necessary service, and they were thoughtful and kind. Thank you Dougherty Friends.

I am so grateful for the professional, kind, and efficient care provided by the staff at Dougherty veterinary clinic! Every time we’ve been there they quickly get us in a private room (vs waiting in a lobby) and everything is completed in the room, even payment! Makes it so easy to bring our dogs to get quality care!

Right away you are put into an exam room. The staff was very friendly and good with my dog. Did a good exam and took care of all my concerns, first time dog mom. Highly recommend this place.

We could not be happier with the attention and care that we have received from Dougherty Veterinary Clinic. We’ve had several emergency situations that were handled well they also do follow up calls and veterinarian even gave us her personal cell phone number to call at night.. We very much appreciate the friendliness of the staff, and our dogs wag their tails when we pull up.

They did the euthanasia on my beloved Hershey and they were so kind and gentle with him and us. That day was made so much easier knowing they cared about our fur baby.

Annual check up, great service in and out in 20 minutes. Appointment on time. Prices seems normal . Been with them for years .

Amazing care for my animals and always seem to fit me in when emergent. They are very very nice, and offer help any way they can.

Dr.Lisa is the best vet person ever. We had our 1st springer there he was 15, now our sheltie, and most recently we had to put our son down he was 13. Lisa made it all perfect. She dedicates her time, compassion and emotional 😢 empathy. I wish front desk girl had a drop of these amazing traits!! At the time of our heartache, she was rude, aweful said Dr.Liss was "too busy" and hung up on us! The only reason we go there is Dr.Lisa.

We just moved to Duluth and were looking for a vet - in particular, one that would see birds. Everyone at Dougherty was so kind and helpful! We are new bird owners and this was our first time bringing him to a vet. They patiently answered all of our questions, and were so sweet and gentle with our bird. We are VERY happy and look forward to returning with the rest of our furry family!

Great place to take your little fur babies! The staff is so kind and gentle. Just wished the pandemic is over so we don't have to outside for our pets to get finished with their appointments.

Hands down best vet care I've seen! So grateful for them! My cat is NOT fun to take to the vet. They were so kind and patient but most importantly they got the job done! My cat was so stressed and scared she actually scratched me! The vet took care to help me clean my wound and get it all bandaged up. They also sent us home with some medication to give her before her future visits so that she can be more relaxed and less terrified! 5 stars and so grateful for their kindness!!! Highly recommend!

I have a cat who does not like to go to the vet and have struggled with appointments and getting good exams each year. I switched to Doughtery and saw Dr. Licht. She was very kind and gentle. My cat did the best she ever has at the vet! She ended up needing a couple teeth pulled, the staff and service was great throughout the whole process! I am glad she was able to identify the teeth needing to be pulled, now a few weeks out from surgery my cat's behavior has changed. She is much happier, grooms way more frequently, and she is quite active compared to before her surgery. I think her tooth ache had been bothering her for quite some time but dismissed as just an aggressive cat. I cannot thank Doughtery Vet Clinic enough :)

I have never had a better vet experience than with Dr. Bittner at Dougherty. My boyfriend and I brought my mother's kitten that got into string to two different emergency vets (one out of the region and the other being BluePearl) without knowing what was going on with him, and Dr. Bittner kept working and seeing little Mars until she found the culprit!

Dr. Bittner got the string out, and Mars has perked right back up after getting stitched up on the inside in 14 places! He's still recovering and will be for a while, but I cannot stress how kind and compassionate and caring the entire staff at Dougherty have been through this process! Dr. Bittner made time in her busy schedule to see little Mars and make sure we could figure out what was going on.

I have had good vet experiences elsewhere, but I have been blown away by the level of care provided here. Obvious animal lovers that love what they do, thank you so much for bringing us little Mars back!

Absolutely love this vet

We got a new pup a few months ago and after a long search (with everyone being booked out until September) we picked Dougherty. It was meant to be. We see Dr. Emma and she has been so good with our dog. Everyone is always on time, we’re never waiting long, professional, kind, good with our pup, and seem genuinely happy to be helping. The rooms are always clean and well taken care of. Recently we had a scare and though they were booked up (early before a weekend) they made time to get us in. They took our concerns seriously and provided us with great communication for the duration of time, and sent us home with clear instruction. We were nearly ready to drive our dog to the cities. Thank you for being so accommodating and willing to squeeze us in! We have made this our vet clinic of choice!

Highly recommend Dougherty Veterinary Clinic! They're extremely knowledgeable and very loving with my German Shepherd! She is never scared to go to their clinic and I never feel like they are out to make an extra profit or push any medicine or treatments that are not necessary. I always recommend this veterinary clinic to all of my family and friends!
