This place has anything and everything regarding books. Every section and category. Take a good chunk of time out of your day to explore this wonderful bookstore, because it is huge!! Main, lower and upper level! Look at all it's goodies. Many fun vintage items.

I could spend literally days here. So many amazing old, historical used books - literal gems I've never seen anywhere else in my life. I spent way too much money here. But I got like 2 boxes of books because the prices are incredible. Highly recommend to anyone and I will be back every time I'm in Duluth.

Parking: small lot behind the church/bookstore that is not paved.

Accessibility: There were no stairs into the main door, but there is a sizeable basement and I didn't noticed any kind of elevator down to the lower level. Additionally, it's so packed with books and shelves that many of the aisles are narrow and would be difficult to navigate with a wheelchair.

Such a fun place with so many books. I got lost in the books for a couple hours! They have tons to explore and the staff was very friendly! Would recommend for all book lovers!

Super cool place, not only is it beautiful but they have an extremely large selection of books with some antiques intermixed.

Not only is the main floor large, there is also a sizeable basement and upper area.

Highly recommend!

This bookstore is literally an Easter egg hunt. If you like digging in piles of books, music, etc you just never know what you will find. It’s a great place for the rare and unusual things. A classic used bookstore everyone talk about but is hard to find.

Make sure you have some time to burn while stopping here. Lots of rooms full of great books. Many to choose from and the staff is stellar. Most of the hard covers are up stairs. There is a whole basement level that loaded with soft covers. Check the photos.

The building is an old church which I found interesting to explore just as much as the countless books held within. The gentleman working the counter was wonderful and I have already told a number of people to go. Entry is free and the items are very reasonably priced.

My new favorite bookstore! Thousands more books than Half Price Books, & at half their prices! 2 hours was not enough time to go through the extensive selection of books.

Such a cool place! Spent a day thrifting in Duluth and decided to try out Chester Creek Books and ended up spending an hour and a half (and that was rushing it 😅). So many vintage books and antiques to browse through, and amazing prices too. I got 5 books, between 90-129 yrs old, and only spent $18 total. There’s a book literally for every topic, and for the most part they’re organized by rooms which makes it easy. Absolutely recommend checking it out, but plan to spend some time getting to look at everything.

Amazing space with good energy and staff. The little dog they had roaming the stacks was adorable!

Has to be one of the coolest bookstores I’ve been in. Great prices, and don’t forget the downstairs!

Such a fun and peaceful quirky bookstore. If you are looking for something unique, this is your place. Browse millions of titles, mostly older than the current last 5 year titles. Check it out. You are bound to find something that piques your interest!

Chester Creek Books is one of those gems where you have to comb through the shelves and explore. Lots of collector's items, but the prices on "regular" books are spectacular. We spent $70, the most expensive book was $8, and we only grabbed a few paperbacks (from publishers like Cambridge University Press) - the rest were hardcover. The store is mostly non-fiction but the subject variety is huge. Be sure to go downstairs, too! The owner offers an incentive if you pay cash.

An unusually large selection of contemporary and antiquarian books stacked floor to ceiling in dim light so bring a flashlight and enjoy exploring the shelves. I found several hard-to-find rarities. Looking forward to my next visit.

Hands down, my absolute favorite bookstore. The prices are reasonable unlike antique stores, pretty organized for the ginormous selection of books, and I am able to find such interesting topics. I love love love this place and would recommend this bookstore to anyone who is an antique book hunter like me. Not to mention, the man that runs the whole thing knows every book like the back of his hand. It's astonishing. He's very sweet and so knowledgeable!

Such a cool and unassuming place! Some really unique books and antiques, very cool aesthetic in a church, and so many nooks to explore!

One of the most amazing book stores I have ever been to! Went in looking for something specific, walked out 3 hours later with 7 books that had nothing to do with my original intent and I barely skimmed the surface of what's there!! They definitely have a new regular shopper! Everything I bought was well under what I'd expect to pay
