Park Point Marina Inn is a wonderful hotel on Park Point (hence the name) that is near Duluth's Canal Park. The hotel is cozy yet classy with a unique blend of comfort and class.

Check in was a breeze. Front desk staff was incredibly nice and efficient. They give out a Park Point Marina Inn gazette with all the latest info on the property as well as wifi passwords, pool times, breakfast times, etc.

The rooms are spotless! They smell like new house and are well appointed. The king suite we had, possessed a comfortable bed, nice amenities, and a well stocked room (coffee, teas) and bathroom (plenty of towels, soaps, lotion, etc.). The view of the marina is beautiful! I believe we spent more time ship watching than we did TV watching.

The breakfast had everything out party would need for breakfast. Waffles, cereal, bagels, scrambled eggs, hash browns, yogurt, juices, hot cocoa, cider, coffee, and about 20 different toppings for the waffles and yogurt. One item of note, breakfast wasn't quite ready at 7am, as listed on the gazette. A few things were out yet (sausage and hash browns) or set up (juice machine) right when it open ed. Not a huge deal, we are early risers.

The pool area was nice! Nice sized pool and hot tub, and a sauna. The fitness center, while small, has all the essentials and even towels and water.

Long story short, this is a wonderful property!

We love this hotel. Warm cookies and hot lemongrass towels waiting for guests upon arrival, a scenic large warm welcoming lobby overlooking the water, rooms are spacious, and smell crisp and clean when entering. Large bathrooms, roomy balconies. Huge breakfast options and large breakfast side bar options (see pic- chocolate chip waffles). Friendly staff EVERY visit, pool and hot tub have always been operational, clean and the right temp. Staff was able to let us extend our stay by charging a half day rate on our last visit. This type of service is absolutely amazing and exceptional, and we will be forever customers because of the exemplary service here. Thank you. 🙏🏻

We loved this Inn. Staff was nice, Lobby was warm and welcoming. Inn is right off the St. Croix River. Rooms were comfortable as hotels should be. Small pool but it worked out for our little family and it's open late which you don't see very often anymore as well. I love the Traditional complementary breakfast, you just don't see that as much anymore and I loved the 24/7 Pizza because it's so convenient when you don't want to leave the hotel or order food to the hotel. They made pizza and delivered it to our door!!!! I would stay at this hotel again for sure!!!! I rate this inn a 5 STAR!!!!

It was a wonderful stay for medical purposes. I had a medical procedure the day I checked in. The staff made my room available for early check-in and upgraded me to the Marina View Suite! The amenities were outstanding, staff was amazing, the room was gorgeous as well as the view! I did not expect this nice of a stay for one night, it was the icing on the cake!

Thank you Park Point! I will be coming back in the future!

My Family & I stayed at Park Point Marina inn. This will be our third time. Every time we come here we feel very welcomed. The hotel is very clean & no weird smells. The hotel has a cozy pool area that my son loved to swim and my wife and I enjoyed the hot tub/sauna. Each day they had a buffet style hot breakfast which is also a reason we stay at this hotel. They offer a big array of options for breakfast. Also they do a "Happy Hour" at their lounge and I enjoyed some drinks and ordered some pizza for the room. The room itself is super cozy with a flat screen TV offering multiple channels. The beds are super comfortable & they supply extra blankets & pillows for your comfort. It was a little too cold to enjoy coffee on the balcony but that is always a plus when you can. We stayed here to be close to canal park and bentleyville and it was the best decision! I highly recommend!

Quiet, comfortable, friendly staff. Exactly what I look for in a hotel! Location is great - close enough to Canal Park to enjoy the offerings but far enough away to avoid the congestion. We had a great get-away and would certainly stay again.

I had a fantastic time staying here. Staff was excellent and very nice. Room was perfectly clean, and it was all in great condition. Breakfast was one of the biggest I've seen in a hotel. Walking distance to the canal and canal park. Loved this place! I wasn't aware of the $100 deposit when checking in, so just be aware of that!

This hotel turned out to be a real gem of a stay. The friendly service and clean rooms were a highlight as well as the breakfast, smore bar and the waterfront location. Parking is ample and everything was perfect about our stay. My elder mom and I travel a lot together and she said that this is her favorite hotel that we have stayed at. That says a lot and we will be back! Much thanks to the staff for making our stay so memorable.

We’ve stayed at this hotel twice, now. Last year for Valentine’s and this year for a birthdaycation. Classy place, clean atmosphere, and they keep it updated and in great condition. We’re making it our only hotel for Duluth trips.

Nice place to stay. Close to Canal Park, yet away from the crowd. It is a very cozy and welcoming place to stay with a wonderful breakfast with a lot of variety.

We decided on a Mid-October weekend to spend some time in Duluth. After doing some online shopping on some travel sites, we saw the great reviews for this location, and even though it was a bit more expensive than other locations, we booked the stay....and it was a GOOD CHOICE!
What a great place!
Let's go over the "Goods/Greats"......
Owning a boat the "marina" part was very intriguing, and the location was near the Haunted Ship we had tickets to tour, plus being on Park Point with the lake on either side made it a done deal.
Canal Park is within walking distance if you don't mind walking a bit. They also have a FREE shuttle service to Canal Park that is a nice touch!
We did get a "land" facing room, which was a little less expensive, but the good news is, it over looks the parking lot! The grounds were well maintained, so it was still a decent view plus we could see our vehicle.
Our dual queen room was clean and decent size and seemed "low key modern"! The bathroom was clean and decent size as well.
The staff was extremely friendly/TOP NOTCH and did a GREAT JOB!
The included breakfast was very nice! Not the stale bagels and old fruit you see in some locations, but eggs, potatoes, and sausage!
They do have a "bar" on premise, but it is very small with limited choices.
We did not get a chance to use the fitness center or the pool, and when we walked the property, there looked to be a nice outdoor fire pit as well!
Overall, very impressive!
Now for the "Not so goods"......
#1- They informed us check in was between 4 and 9PM????? With a 10:30AM check out time, that seems a bit late! (On a side note we did show up early and requested an early check in time, and they stated they would try to get us in early and would call us....and at about 2:30 they did call us stating we could check in!!! Nice touch....)
#2- I am not sure what they did to the carpet outside our room, but it was WET! Maybe they cleaned it? It did not smell bad or was stained, but it was downright WET!
#3- Being Mid-October the geese are traveling south, and they must LOVE the grounds as there was a BOAT LOAD of goose poop all over! Not really the hotels fault, but worth noting.
#4- Some of the fixtures in the room were worn. Our desk chair seemed a bit old/used, and our light with built in USB ports was broken. Also, this may seem minor, but some of the light bulbs they had in the room were "cool" LED lights that give off a "blue-ish" tint that made the room feel cold, and industrial! A simple "warm" or "soft" colored LED bulb in all fixtures would make a BIG difference! I know...minor....but wanted to point this out.

Overall, I am giving them FIVE stars as we really did enjoy our stay, and we will be back!

Whether you care about the big ships that come in or not, they still make an awe inspiring view. That’s one thing we wanted. We got a harbor view and got lucky to have a third floor room. Rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast buffet had a very good selection and should have something for everyone. The location is just spectacular. Minutes from the lift bridge, Canal Park and the beach on Lake Superior. Free shuttles run hourly. Staff is very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel, room service is great. My favorite part was happy hour drinks and snacks! The lemongrass towels are so relaxing!

Attentive and friendly staff and thoughtful little touches throughout the stay. S'mores bar Mon-Thurs. Hot lemongrass scented towels available in the lobby daily. Happy hour. Lovely patio with fire table. Extensive breakfast options, including gluten free bread! (a special treat for me 🙂) The toiletries smell amazing!

We had a nice little balcony facing the harbor bay.... very picturesque. Beds were comfy. A very short walk to the lift bridge and then over the bridge to Canal Park. We watched a few ships come in here and there... very cool experience. The free maritime museum and lake walk are also right there (and so many other lovely shops and food/beverage venues).

We were able to check in a little early which was nice. When I checked out, there was an extra charge from the lounge on my bill. Ashley at the front desk helped to look up the tickets, reviewed them with me and then graciously removed the questionable amount.

All in all, a very nice stay and I would definition go back!

Really great hotel! We had a spectacular experience at this hotel. We enjoyed the s'mores bar, free shuttle, indoor pool, outside playground and picnic area and shared community space in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was huge and had many options. The room was clean and spacious. We had a marina view and loved it! We are very impressed and will be back!!!
My only complaint is that the pizza served at the bar seemed a bit overpriced for frozen pizza.
