We are loving our stay at AmericInn. The rooms are clean and spacious. The service has been extraordinary. Breakfast was hot and had a lot of great options. Bonus, the pool opens at 7! As a traveling family this may be just the thing to bring us back continuously!

We stayed here with a youth hockey team. The location was perfect in regards to our games. The rooms were very adequate for our needs and the staff was very accommodating. Pool area was on the smaller side, but still enough room for the team and siblings to have fun. Overall, we will definitely keep this hotel in mind for future trips.

Overall great experience staying here. Rooms were very clean and smelled good. Ac worked in the room and stayed nice and cool. Breakfast was very good and hot. We needed a pack and play for our baby to sleep in and they brought up a nice and clean pack and play in a very timely manner. I would stay here again.

We just wanted an inexpensive hotel for a night and this fit the bill. It's a bit older so the outside isn't fancy. Our room was spacious and clean, and appeared updated. No complaints. Would stay again.

We have a dog, so are limited on places we can stay. We are very thankful they accept dogs, however it was odd the price was adjusted after I booked it and remarked we had a dog. It would be better if that was an option upfront while booking so people aren't surprised like I was. (Especially since there was no * next to "pets accepted" indicating additional fee).
$200 is not a budget hotel in my book, but you get what you pay for and this hotel is very clean!
Parking lot small. If you have a trailer call and ask about parking.
Pet relief area nice with picnic tables so you can take your breakfast out there.
Breakfast included sausage, pancakes, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, pre packaged muffins.
Having the window screwed shut was a little concerning (See photo)

Genuinely fantastic bang for the buck. Nice updated rooms and common areas. Lots of HD TV channels. Parking was easy to get to. Well stocked fitness room, along with pool with adult only swim times. Breakfast was the usual AmericanInn style.

Nice clean room with comfortable beds and pillows. Pretty friendly, too! We didn't swim, but pool looked nice and pool room was clean and offered plenty of towels. We didn't eat breakfast, and didn't need help by desk or housekeeping personnel, but given quality of rooms I have them 5 stars. We enjoy being downtown near the lake so that's the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars on location. That said, good shopping and restaurants are nearby, and it's an easy drive if you want to head downtown. Plus rates are more affordable.

Stayed for work for 4 nights. Very nice hotel helpful and friendly staff. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Had microwave and mini fridge and a good breakfast in the morning. Only down side is the parking lot is small and if you have a trailer it’s not ideal. Will stay again if in the area.

The service at this place is absolutely amazing! The breakfast was one of the best free hotel breakfasts we've had. I know I've paid more for less. Pool is on the small, but clean. Well finally stay again when we're in town.

The bed felt like a cloud and it was everything I needed after unexpectedly getting a room at 2AM. That alone earns it 5 stars. The breakfast was running out an hour and a half after it had began, but we still snagged a few things.

Came up from the cities to take part in a friend's wedding. Landed here after being priced out of downtown hotels, which became grateful for later on.

Was able to check in on time without a wait. Joel, who was working the front desk, was extremely friendly and helpful. My reservation was for a King bed and he gave me the option of a preferred floor. I chose 3rd and was given a room facing the south lot. My room was SPOTLESS! Plenty of towels, good water pressure in the shower, great AC, plenty of sunshine. For as busy as the hotel was it was completely quiet for the 2 nights I was there. Couldn't hear other guests. There's anything you need nearby. Coffeeshops, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping malls, nail salons... There's even 2 drug stores literally within walking distance. Parking and traffic wasn't an issue at all, unlike downtown Duluth yet it was a quick 10 minute drive to get there to the event. I was so happy with my stay, it's hard to find anything negative. The only thing I could come up with has nothing to do with the hotel really. I'm a photosensitive sleeper and basically need a blacked out room to sleep in. The parking lot has super bright lights, which is great for safety and security. My room had sheer curtains so it made it pretty bright in there to sleep, but that's on me. I'd totally stay there again, I'd just remember to pack a sleep mask or ask for a room on the other side of the property. Rest assured though, your car will be safe overnight!

Check out was easy without a wait. Tony, the manager was kind and super cheery. I really appreciate the kindness I encountered with everyone there. The hospitality industry can be really difficult, especially in a pandemic where people aren't always acting from a place of kindness. I want to thank everyone there for what they do. It was a perfectly pleasant experience and would absolutely stay there again the next time I'm in Duluth. Thanks again!

Rooms were clean and the breakfast had a nice selection with an awesome pancake maker! Easy location outside of the hustle and bustle of Canal Park.

Convenient location. The GM was so bright and cheery and he wore a mickey mouse tie. He even gave our dogs milk bone biscuits. The room was exceptionally clean. The morning man on duty was just as kind. Slept like logs with our dogs. Loved it.

A very nice, clean hotel. Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Unfortunately, no spa tub by pool. A nice breakfast is served also.

The room was very quiet and comfortable. Blackout shades for late sleeping. The location made it easy to get around Duluth.

A big shout-out to a great desk clerk. Sam! Very congenial and made sure we were happy.

Probably the best budget hotel I’ve stayed in. Super friendly service from d’Angelo! This guy was seriously great at customer service! Room was clean with large tv and decent beds. Everything around hotel lobby and breakfast area was clean and breakfast is until 10am which is a pleasant change from hotels I’ve stayed at where they stop serving at 8-9am.

I love the dog area in the back of the hotel. I left my coat at the hotel. They called me and shipped it to me. I was very thankful!
