Beacon Pointe on Lake Superior

Loved our little trip this weekend. The view was great, I liked sitting on the deck with the provided Duluth Coffee Company in the morning looking at the lake. Also they were very quick on getting us a pack n play when we asked for one after our kiddo wouldn’t sleep in the regular bed, also the bed was very comfy. The resort also offers a hot chocolate bar, popcorn and a s’mores kit, which was so cute and made the resort feel very “home-y” and cozy. The condo we stayed in was very large compared to regular hotels. The customer service was top notch. I also really loved the small gift shop. Definitely will return when we come up to Duluth in the future, and tell our friends/family about this place! 😊

I cannot recommend this location highly enough. The views are maybe the best in Duluth. The location is easy to access and the resort is clearly owned by the people who run it. The attention to detail tells you this is a family run business and it’s not their first rodeo. They even provided snores and warm cookies free of charge. This is how you run a resort.

What a wonderful experience! Quiet, clean and every room faces the lake! Sleep with your sliding glass door open and hear the waves! It is nice to be 2 miles from the craziness of Canal Park. Clean pool and hot tub!! Totally recommend Beacon Pointe! Fresh Chocolate chip cookies daily!!

Great rooms with amazing views. Pool, hot tub, & sauna were nice to have. Beds were really comfortable not too soft. Very convenient location. Trail is right behind the building which is great as well

Love this place so much! My boyfriend and I stayed here this weekend for my birthday and a few months ago for a fall getaway and we are so impressed by not only the beautiful views but the kindness, cleanliness & hospitality that the team there has. The guy that works in the evenings always takes great care of us, he lit the fire for us last night and put out smores supplies and we had an absolute blast! We will definitely be coming back & recommending to family and friends. Thank you guys again for your lovely hospitality ! ♥

Underground parking a nice plus in cold weather. Room was spacious & equipped well. Bed could use a new mattress or a flip.

My girlfriend and I had a great time here. The view of Lake Superior was majestic. It was a little cloudy, but the sunrises were gorgeous. This is a great place for a romantic getaway, and it's just North of downtown, so easy to get to Canal Park or further up the North Shore if you like tromping through the snow and seeing Gooseberry Falls frozen over in January.

We had a stunning lake view and our rooms were so close to the water. We made sure to get up for the sunrise every morning. Not to be missed!

We had very helpful and friendly service from everyone on staff.

Stayed here for my honeymoon in the Jacuzzi suite. It was fantastic. Right on the water with beautiful views of superior, bonfires and smores at night, clean, friendly staff, it was truly a luxury experience in my eyes. I will be staying next time I'm in duluth.

Love, love, love this place! This was our first time staying here, and we will be back. They are condos, and I forgot the name of the one we had. It was a huge 1 bedroom, bathroom with a jacuzzi and shower with 5 smaller jet sprays (don't know what they are called 😊), a full kitchen, dining area, living with a pullout sofa and a balcony overlooking lake Superior. The wall of the living room was a big glass window. It was beautiful sitting looking at the water.
Check-in, check-out was quick and easy.
They provide a takeaway breakfast in the mornings. Fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, bread for toast, juice, cereal, milk, granola, cranberries, muffins. Free coco, tea, and coffee all day. They provide free items to make smores at the firepit later in the evening. They also bake tasty chocolate chip cookies throughout the day. Yummy! 😋 They also have a small store with items for purchase.
There's a pool, hot tub, and sauna.

A super clean, well appointed, suite for our family of 7. Lots of space, indoor parking, and a pool. But the best thing is the view. It doesn't get better than waking up to the warm smile of old Gitche Gumee.

Best hotel in Duluth! Perfect view, me and my girlfriend spent 1 day, 1 night here and loved it! We didn't wanna leave.. leaveing our hotel was bitter sweet with looking out at our deck listening to the waves rush off the rocks and realized it was time to go back down to southern minnesota and continue our lives. If i could rates this place 10/10 starts i would! Sorry if we woke anyone up at 10:45.. Haha.. or 7:30 girlfriend was making bagel's ( No smoke from toaster ) and set off the fire alarm

My husband and I stayed here for a few days as a mini honeymoon and WOW! The view of the lake from our room was breath taking and the weather was surprisingly warm for November. We lucked out!
Our room had its own jacuzzi which we spent most of our time in, and the fact that the hotel offered complimentary underground parking, popcorn, smores, apple Cider, tea and duluth coffee was just the icing on the cake.

Everything about this hotel was relaxing and a great way to spend a romantic getaway in Duluth.

Had to cancel our anniversary trip to Maui due to the fires (milestone anniversary, never been there). Decided to head to the North Shore. I can't remember the last time I slept that well, and I haven't since then. It was perfect weather to sleep with the patio door open, and listening to the waves crash against the rocks was incredibly relaxing. The view of the lake was beautiful and the room was super comfy.

This was a really nice quiet location. They have everything you would need or want. The view is amazing and rooms are nice. Every night they have a fire outside and give you stuff to make smores! Even has heated underground parking!

This place was fantastic! The room was very clean and quiet. The hot tub jets weren't working at the time, but I was still able to relax in the hot water, and the pool was clean. The view was spectacular! Perfect way to end the day and start the morning on the patio right on lake Superior. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend!

We stayed at Beacon Pointe over Labor Day weekend 2023.
From check-in to check-out the service and staff were fantastic. The room was great and the view was spectacular. We already booked another stay with more to come I'm sure.

Front Desk gentleman so very friendly and helpful. Beautiful view right on Lake Superior. (Huge ship anchored not far from our view). Full kitchen. Coffee and coffee maker included. Easy to get to off 35 and great parking.

We came up for our “baby moon” before our first baby comes in June, it was such a wonderful property! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The views were stunning! We enjoyed coffee on the walk out patio watching the ships roll in. My husband loved the sauna while I enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi! The room was so clean!! It was a perfect spot to relax and spend a romantic few days. We would definitely come back.

Absolutely fabulous view of Lake Superior!! Very comfortable and clean. Well organized and hospitable staff. Looking forward to staying again next year! Little bit of carpet repair needed in our suite.
