Uncle Loui's Cafe

Loved the food; everything tasted fresh , and was well made. I had the Greek salad, as well as soup of the day. Amazing food, and reminded me of my parents home cooking. Would definitely recommend for breakfast or lunch.

It is my number favorite place to eat breakfast at every morning. The family really treats everyone like part of their family .

They say that between "good, cheap, and fast," you can only ever choose two. But at Uncle Loui's Cafe you truly can have all three. Every time I've ever been here it's been excellent, and with great service. I don't live in Duluth, but every time I'm in the area I make it a point to get breakfast at Uncle Loui's.

Amazing food for an amazing price! We have never been here before. We were very impressed by the service and quality we received. Highly recommend for breakfast!

Very welcoming place! Made an order to go and The staff were more than happy to help. Very polite and great to talk to. Food was very good I didn't remember to take a picture though. The tomatoe basil soup was so good! Can definitely tell it's made from scratch. My husband got the fish and chips and that was also very good.

After having multiple places to choose from. We are so happy that we picked ULC. You seat yourself. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. You can purchase one of the t-shirts or a coffee mug. We did one of each. We had
Green eggs and ham omelette with hashbrown and a pancake.

Be hungry and bring some home. Definitely the place to go while you’re in Duluth. They do close at 1pm so I suggest going early. We were so hungry we forgot to take photos.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way back to the cities and it far our (already high) expectations. The food was amazing—everything's super cheap and the portion sizes are massive. Also, the service was awesome!

My husband and I were out looking for a place that serves the best coffee and decided to grab a bite. The food was awesome! The staff was great. The only thing that was disappointing was how crowded they were. I highly recommend the taco omelette and a coffee. I LOVED their coffee! It is the best we've (accidentally) found!

Glad we found this no-fuss breakfast spot while we were in the Duluth area! Great food & big portions...good prices...fast & friendly service! We will be back next trip!

Our first time to Uncle Loui's Cafe, so grateful we came here. The food is awesome, their hash browns were delicious and the French toast was out of this world and I used their homemade cinnamon syrup And my vegetable omelette was very good as well. The prices are very reasonable, the service is great, the people are friendly. What's not to love.

We've been here before and they never disappoint! Fast, friendly service and delicious home cooked food! We had the pancakes (if you are looking for a side of pancakes just order one, they are huge) that were fluffy, soft and delicious! The homemade cinnamon syrup gives them a cinnamon roll taste. We also ordered biscuits and gravy.. fluffy, moist biscuits and a flavorful sausage gravy on top. We were in and out in 35 minutes as we had to get to work, so that was also a bonus! Definitely check them out 😀

This is a famous breakfast place in Duluth. I first visited this place in 2014 and I still visit this place whenever I am in Duluth. The staff are super friendly and this place will be extremely busy during the college year, you might have to stand in the line for seating unless you come here early in the morning. Their pancakes are fluffy and delicious and I love their hash brown (super crispy on the outside).

I can see why this place is top rated in Duluth. It’s so good. All the other food looked delicious, but the STUFFED FRENCH TOAST was so unbelievably delicious. Out of all the french toast i’ve had in my life, including stuffed french toast, this was the best. Especially the strawberry filled french toast, I don’t know what they do to their french toast, but it was so, so, so delicious.

Hands down, the best place for breakfast in Duluth. Uncle Loui's Cafe has it all: awesome friendly and fast service, delicious food (hashbrowns and french toast are amazing!), good-sized menu with a lot of options, and big portions at great prices. It's one of those staple places that has your classic diner breakfast/brunch food. Get there early on the weekends though! There tends to be huge crowds with lines going out the building. Highly recommend!

Busy "mom and pop" Cafe. The food was super yum - so many options! Will go again on our next trip to Duluth.

The Gyro sandwich I ordered for lunch was really yummy. Lots of flavor and filling. Other than that, the lunch menu isn't anything to write home about-stick with breakfast, I have never been disappointed!
You walk in and seat yourself and are greeted quickly. At the end of the meal, you pay by walking up to the front dining counter by the register and they help you there. Reasonable prices and big portions will keep me always coming back!
