Days Inn by Wyndham Duluth Lakewalk

This was a stopover on our way to Lutsen Mountain in Duluth, serving as a midway point to our destination. The stay was budget-friendly and affordable. While there weren't many activities available, it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, the staff was accommodating, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options.

Free parking was provided, but due to a snowstorm that day, our cars were covered in heavy snow. This wasn't a problem for us, but for those seeking covered parking, it was not available during our visit.

Not only is it close to the Lutsen ski area, but it's also the perfect spot for enjoying a scenic drive through the American wilderness. Additionally, it is closer to the downtown area of Duluth.

We had a picnic outside with ice cream. Muffins were the bomb. TV played Princess Diaries and Dora 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼recommend coming if u like Dora. Toilet got clogged and smelled like doodoo in our room. Bedsheets had little specks of poopy looking things. I had Jammy time with my besties. Apple juice was watered down, water tastes like tires 🥹🥹🥹. Really "nice" locals. Gift shop was stinky 🤢🤢🤢🤢 it smelled like ciggies in the hallway one time. The stairs were carpeted 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 NO POOL?!!!?😔😔😔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔😔😔😔😔😔😕 there is a sauna open though. Eggs were rubbery and plastic but descent #fattiesForLife🫃🏼🫃🏼 I hate Kris Lindhal😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Would actually rate 4.5 stars but prefer to round up. When pulling up it doesn't look like much, and actually looks disappointing. It's an older building but the rooms were very nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. We had no issues with water pressure or clogged drains as some have said in their reviews. Toilet worked great! Wish the breakfast had a few more options and wasn't in the basement but not much you can do with that in an old building.

No elevators but many of the floors had walk up entrances.

The beds were very comfortable. I forgot a bag when we checked out. It was packed full of expensive items. I didn't discover it was missing for a day and a half. I called the hotel and after confirming my identity and the reservation we stayed under, he confirmed they had the bag. He shipped the contents to me. It arrived in two days. Thank you!

This hotel is older, but do not let that stop you from staying here! Our room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a microwave, small refrigerator, ironing board and iron, hair dryer and coffee maker. The bathroom was small, but it was fine. The staff was kind and helpful. Weekday continental breakfast included waffles, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage links, cereal, fruit, pastries, milk, coffee and juices. On the weekend they added biscuits and gravy which were quite good. We would definitely stay here again.

Honestly, we have little to complain about for the price. It was nice and quiet. The room was clean and pet friendly for our dog. The front desk staff member and breakfast staff member was really nice. The only thing we didn’t like was the parking lot and the shower was a bit small. But honestly, for the price, we were happy. I’m surprised by the other lower rated reviews. We had a good experience!

We had a fabulous time. The check in was a breeze, even with our 4 month old Newfie puppy. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and kind. The room was clean, warm, and inviting. The beds were comfortable with enough pillows to choose from. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. There are always things I would change for my personal preferences, but as a total package, this hotel was perfect. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a restful evening.

Excellent customer service by hotel staff. The price was A+. Showers were hot and we used the workout room during our stay. We showed up as breakfast was finished and the staff still let us dine in. Second time staying here, we'll definitely be back.

I am staying here for the first time. The front desk staff were sooooo nice. I asked for an extra blanket and I got it!!! The rooms are comfortable. There was a luggage cart which is ALWAYS helpful!! The door for the front desk area is automatic AND there is a ramp. And there a lots of rooms at ground level. This place is mobility disabled friendly. They have cute items for sale. The rooms have micros, refrigerators and coffee makers. They have irons and ironing boards.. the beds are super comfy!!

I totally recommend this hotel. Ohhh... And we got two rooms for two nights for less than some other dumpy hotels.

I am giving this Days Inn five stars, because we find it to have very clean rooms, very good breakfast,good location for us, and VERY NICE RESPECTFUL FUN EMPLOYEES! We have NO complaints! Also have good discounts for those who have hospital visits or families that need a place to stay while their loved ones are in the hospital. DO NOT hesitate to take a look at this hotel!

Great view from my room. Ac worked great. Easy access to parking lot from my room. Near great food options on London Road. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to the area.

My room was very clean, it had everything that I needed. They were very kinda about my needs. I would stay there again.

Always enjoy staying there- the staff is great, very authentically friendly. Nice breakfast bar, too. In addition to a fitness room they also have a sauna.

Very friendly place! My son's in the hospital having surgery so I got a cheaper deal staying here! I even got a beautiful room with a great view of the lake!!! Awesome place to stay!

Had a great experience staying here. Super friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast, location is wonderful. Also it was the most affordable place in Duluth! The sauna is amazing!!
