Clyde’s Grill and Bar

Dining area is separate from the bar. Both areas are very nice and welcoming. I have been a handful of times and have had great service on both sides. Similar to a lot of authentic BBQ places they put a sheet of paper on the table. You can make a mess or food art. They provide the crayons. It can be fun to play a few rounds of tic tic-tac-toe while your food is cooking. In the past I have had the burgers, Thai chili wings, pizza and everything was really good. Tonight my daughter had Buffalo wings and a side of mac-n-cheese. That was delicious! I had the baked scrod and that was cooked just right. They also have their own line of soda with old school flavors like Raspberry Lime Rickies! Good food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely restaurant and good food! Service was quick too. Had appetisers to share and the angus prime rib.

Again ... tasting items in the menu. Today steak n cheese rolls. Freaking fantastic!!! And don't get me started on Charlie, the bartender, simply The Best!

Greta food and comfortable place, waitress was incredibly nice! A nice family restaurant or place to hang out with friends.

Along with 3 others, we decided to dine at Clyde's Bar and Grill in Walpole Ma. The atmosphere of the restaurant has that old time welcoming bar/restaurant feel. The waitresses were very friendly and provided us with great service. The meals ordered were the following:

Southern Fried Chicken Dinner,
Cheese Burger with Fries
Pull Pork Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Fries
Rueben Brisket Sandwich with Mashed Potatoes

There were no complaints and the portions were large that take-out containers were needed for leftovers. If you are in the Walpole area, I would recommend this place to get a more than satisfying meal in a friendly atmosphere with great service.

Cozy atmosphere with a country-style, rustic look to it. Our waitress Stacy was so nice and so informative about the items on the menu. So many items to choose from on their menu. Their food is delicious. Plan on going back again soon.

Food was very good. Really enjoyed the fried pickles and the corn bread was fantastic. Brisket very tender and tasty with a nice bend when you picked up a slice. GFs pulled pork was incredible. Our waitress, Midge, was superb.

Ann is an Amazing server. She told my son that as a mother. She wont let him do the ten gallon burger challenge.

Nice little hidden gem with old school music vibes and the chef… listen … they get BUSY!! I’ll be back again the BBQ pulled pork was A1

What can I say?? Amazing food, better service. Stephanie was wonderful! Always checking on us and making sure we had everything we could possibly need. Food was top notch and I can't say enough about this hidden gem of a restaurant.

First of all if you have a chance to have Stephanie as your server...then you hit the jackpot...we waited for nothing and she took my allergy concerns very seriously. Second..I had an issue with my steak tips being cooked more than I liked...so I was given my choice of ribs instead and since I already knew their ribs are the best in Massachusetts...I was thrilled. The staff are great...the food is beyond delicious. Its family friendly and extremely clean!!! Can't wait to bring my friends and relatives visiting to this hidden gem! Shhhhhh...don't tell anyone!

Ate here 2 nights in a row. Both meals were great. Had the baby back ribs the first night and a turkey burger the second. Had clam chowder both nights

Went in for lunch while on business. We don’t have much time and they were extremely accommodating knowing that we had a short period of time. They gave me the wrong sandwich but bent over backwards to ensure I was happy. I just wish we had got to go back to eat here again. Food was excellent, try the fried chicken sandwich or pulled pork!

Pretty comfy restaurant in the style of a Texas canteen. Staff are friendly and helpful, and ambiance is relaxing. So if it's a family outing, date night, or just something for lunch during the week, you can't go wrong with this place.

Great food! Kraft paper table coverings to doodle on while you wait! Fun, friendly staff. Huge menu with so many delicious items.

Convenient and solid lunch spot. My husband liked his burger and the sweet potato wedges that accompanied my Cuban were to die for. Waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable and the service was pretty good. We wouldn't have even noticed the wait for our food if we had gotten an appetizer. Can't comment on the drinks because we didn't have any, but this place seems to make an effort to add a bit of flair to things so it's not just the usual American restaurant experience.

Coming back again & again

Staying at the Fairfield Inn , Walpole , great place to stay but no bar . A short walk out of the hotel and next door is Clyde’s Grill and Bar . Cosy bar , restaurant area and a wooden horse , what more could you want ! . Wide range of craft ales and lagers , spirits galore including Hendricks Gin ( which impressed the missus ) .

Food was superb , we had some Spring Onion Strings and a Pizza , all reasonably priced . Finally a word about the staff , very friendly and helpful , as were the customers. We will return !

PS Their shepherds pie is made with beef !!

We travel throughout the country & always seek local restaurants. Clyde's was one of our best experiences to date! Some of the best BBQ, friendliest/kind/entertaining wait staff (how can you not absolutely love Johnny!?) & great music. Not to mention generous portions .. just wow! Highly recommend & we will be back our next trip to Boston!!
