I choose Sprinkles over Magnolia. I can eat 2 Sprinkles cupcakes in one sitting. There is a nice balance between the dough and cream top. Soft, rich, and pleasant to bite into. There are so many flavors and new limited time pop-ups frequently. This visit, I got Banana and Dark Chocolate, loved both. You can order for pick up, delivery, or order in store. They have Pupcakes too.

The best cupcakes in NYC! I love the original Sprinkles cupcake, Red Velvet, Black & White cupcakes, vanilla and vanilla sprinkles cupcakes. The creamiest frosting and the cupcakes are always fresh. I will definitely be back!!

THE BEST CUPCAKE IN THE USA!!! This is the very first location that Candace Nelson open ever in the US. It’s the mother of cupcakes! The fact that this is a family business that grew to be one of the most amazing places for a sweet treat in the county is worth your money and your time. They don’t only have cupcakes but they also have cookies, ice cream and everything is so good you will be looking for the closest cupcake ATM in your area. You can feel the love in every bite and the richness in flavor! Go, enjoy, and feel one cupcake close to heave! Truly love the dark chocolate sprinkles! Staff is friendly!

Wow! The Patron Margarita was my FAVORITE, it was incredible! I also got a chocolate, a sprinkle and a crème brûlée and they were all very good. I thought that the iPad ordering was a nice way to expedited service, although it’s a little impersonal with cashier standing right there. She was very sweet and helpful and fast once the order was in. A wonderful place for a sweet treat!

So cute inside smells amazing, quick & friendly service. The cupcake was just good! Very sweet but absolutely tasty. Would go perfect with a glass of milk! Had the vanilla & milk chocolate.

I used to buy cupcakes from this and the small branch located at the entrance of Penn station almost every week. My daughter simply loved them. These cupcakes are completely nut-free and hence was a good option to gift to day care facilities

Spriiiiinkleeees!!!!!!!! We’ve seen sprinkles ad in german tv and decided to try. Was our first cupcakes ever and it was awesome. It’s a tiny place, but super yumm cupcakes and a really open, fun and charming staff. I even bought a “I love sprinkles” fan shirt.

The best Cupacakes ever made, especially their red velvet me and my wife loved them so much and my stepdaughter... And I drive all the way from Boston Massachusetts to New York to get them once in a Blue Moon because we don't got one in Boston yet... 😢🌹❤

Im not sure about the atmosphere because I ordered a delivery XD. Cupcakes are indeed awesome, tasty, so soft like a soft cake with delicate frosting, not too heavy at all. The thing that did bothered me is the fact that here on google maps, the place is signed as LGBTQ friendly. Why is it important to write it? Is this place also friendly for Jews, Blacks, Asians? I mean- humans in general

These were honestly the best cupcakes I've ever had! So many great options for all. The shop was very nicely decorated from outside as well as inside. The staff were very friendly and cheerful. they were all good cupcake. I really love every fa lover of cupcake.

Friendly staff, delicious cupcakes, plenty of variety. Because of the founder's many appearances on Netflix's Sugar Rush, and Food Network's Cupcake Wars, my kids want to hit this in whichever city has one when we visit.

These are our favorite cupcakes! Period. Always so moist! Our picks are the Strawberry and Triple Chocolate Cupcakes. Avoid the actual sprinkle topping, though - just toss it! Really stellar customer service, too.

I've spent years bouncing between cupcake shops across the city (including during the cupcake craze of the early 2010s), and sprinkles is still the best.

They deliver on the three elements that make a good cupcake: cake, icing, and icing to cake ratio. The cake is moist and flavorful. The icing is sweet but not overpowering (see magnolia for overly sweet icing) and the icing to cake ratio is spot on.

Come for: amazing cupcakes

Favorite: the vanilla banana cupcake

Watch out: the line can be a bit slow

Their red velvet cupcake is my favorite. It’s creamy and it melts in the mouth like a cloud.

I miss the location downtown that closed during the pandemic but glad they still have a location in the UES. My favorite, there are lots of combos and cupcakes are moist and delish everytime I order them. I wish we had more locations! Magnolia’s is getting a bit overrated
